ReduxRevolutions SoViEtTaNkT34 ReduxRevolutions Name: Tam Nguyen gender: female Type of Marxist: Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Hi comrades! I hope you all welcome me here. I've been a youth member of the RCP for 2 years now. I love reading the works of Marx, Lenin, Mao, Stalin and of course, perhaps the greatest Marxist thinker of our time and chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party USA, Bob Avakian. He's made such enormous strides and we in the RCP truly believe he will bring revolution to the US. So if you have any questions about us feel free to ask away. I'll figure out Gaia sooner or later ^-^ Please tell me this isnt real I'm real crying Sorry im not the biggest fan of Bobby. I thought the RCP was split in half not to long ago by one of his speeches but idk. Me and Rob normally go to there bookstores because the CPUSA's we havent been able to find... but overall we are not part of either of them...CPUSA or RCP... Welcome to the Guild anyways

no its the farthest thing from capitalism capitalism is all about self interest. the venus project is all about the common good and we are all equal because no one owns anything everything is shared and technically if it is a cyber government then it can only be as smart as the people are because the people are constantly updating it based on new ideas and newly acquired knowledge the idea of taking money and machines away is something that has to be applied. for if you take away money and add machines to a communist economy then its still communism

You still have to tackle Bourgeois Right before currency is gone as a means of exchange... eliminating money does not eliminate the process of money. Machines as in Database hubs for statistical data for the centralized economy for more efficient distribution? Leo are you Adding or not Adding Transhumanist/ Singularity philosophy into communist thought?

the venus project in and of itself IS communism that is why i'm recommending it and its why i joined the guild. and no there wont have to be exchange because every1 shares everything, and yes machines as labor will be more efficient than human labor.

I am not denying the fact that machines can handle labour better. But as I've said, Venus is Utopian. Marxists are concerned on how to get there which the Venus project does not offer.

SoViEtTaNkT34 please explain and comrade there is no such thing as a utopia and there never will be but the venus project is better than anything we've got. youre right it sounds like a utopia but if there is any other way to put the venus project its futuristic communism with the highest technology humans have to offer. It also has the same intention as other communists would have of protecting the environment

I like big space-age sea cities as much as the next person but why does the woman have to stand around and look pretty while the man gets to look all pro and think-y in the chair, huh? (This is actually a genuine criticism.)

It also has the same intention as other communists would have of protecting the environment Marxism is the best mankind has to offer, because it offers a plan on how to actually get there. Now mind you, we are only going to see communism after the dictatorship of the proletariat and the world revolution has taken place. If I could direct you to the suggested readings thread. http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=123747

Name: Annie Age: 14 years old Country: Philippines Political Outlook: There are many political problems in the Philippines. The extradudical killings, corruption and other problems of the activists. At my young age, my parents taught me about what kind of government that Philippines has. I hardly see my parents because they are communist. Being a communist in my country that means, you are wanted in the government. You need to hide everywhere that no one knows you except to your fellow comrade. It was really hard. But in spite of that, as there daughter, I understand there work. Once, I ask myself, 'why can't I have a normal life like the other kids?' But now I know. I'm proud for them. I know that they really care about the the other people.
