Lam was partcially dizzy from using her strength for that long, she isn't really good at that move yet. She felt bad for Kai, who looked really sad for a reason she couldn't figure out. Not knowing what to do, Lam walked back to her dorm.

Lam decided to cheer up Kai and knocked on his dorm door. "Hello?" She asked, knocking softly. "It's Lam."

Lam walked in with an indifferent expression on her face. "From what I saw, you didn't look so good yesterday. Are you okay?" she sat on his bed, looking at him seriously.

Lam looked at the floor. "You didn't exactly scare me, I was just worried about you." She kept her serious face but didn't dare turn back.

"If you think it feels right, then okay I guess." Lam wasn't sure of what Kai would do with his powers. Hopefully, he wouldn't hurt himself in any way possible.

"sometimes my powers act on their own, like yesterday when the temperature dropped 50 degrees. i didnt want that to happen. but when i try to hold it back, it hurts. when my parents hit me, its the same thing. i feel it coming, but i hold it back, adding to my pain. the thing is, i cant gaurantee their safety if i lose all control of myself. im pathetic, afraid of my own powers."

"You are not pathetic." Lam said honestly. Kai could tell that he doubted what she just said, but it is true. He isn't pathetic. "I believe in you." She said, finally looking back at him.
