Kikyo heard the comment made about the village and it ticked her off pretty badly. She suddenly appeared in front of him, eyes seeming to burn through him. "What'd you say about my village?!? My village is better than any other village, and I'll prove it!" She held her hand out to the side and chakara started pouring into it and going into a sphere shape. She took her arm back and aimed it at his chest. "Rasengan!!" She aimed with the intention to ither kill or majorly hurt him with how mad and willing to fight she was now. Wether or not it hit, she really wanted a fight now.

Komen was waiting for Hedoro to move closer but the distraction of a fight came to the sight of his powerful Byakugan. "Hmmm...I think I'll need to check this out." Komen said as he left the technique engaged so if she were to try and sneak up on him, she would still be within the reach of the technique, making her devestating techniques very limited and harder to create a devestating attack upon him. Komen body flickered from the immediate area and went to a house top nearby where the two Shinobi were fighting. Komen was curious as to what was going on between these two shinobi that a fight would have to break out.

Moving to the side, thanks to the time it took to make a normal rasengan. Than shakes his head once again, slashing with the ethereal blade towards her arm. If struck, there would be no wound, instead chakra, proportinate to the amount of blood that should have been left from the wound, would be taken. "Seriously... You talk highly of your clan, and then use a technique to which another clan created?" He shakes his head slowly, as he activates the effect of his Mugen Kougai. Slowly beginning the drain of chakra from everything around him.

Kikyo smirked as he moved out of her way and she used subsitution to judge his move, moving to right above him. Kikyo smirked as she pulled out a 10 sided dice and threw it in the air, catching it. She looked at the number to see how the turn out would be for her elemental gamble attack. Hopfully it would turn to her advantage. She smirked seeing the die said 9, meaning it was would be an auto hit for any element she chose, and she decided to go with ice, Than was blasted with a hard hit of ice. "Ha! Take that! That's what you get for messing with a Soshi!"

"Would it make you feel better, if I screamed in agony?" The Descartes asks, as he rolls his eyes in annoyance. Though her attack was expected as an automatic hit. And it would have been under any other circumstances, this time, there were some serious problems for her. Seeing as her attacks were all mortally based. Meaning that in order to strike him, she would need to figure out a way to thwart his ghostly presence. "I mean really... You're blood thirsty, and I lack blood.. Anger filled, and I lack the need of that emotion, for at least the time being..." Than sighs, he was not going to start his game just yet, he wanted her to waste as much chakra as nessecery first, since she was still within range of his Mugen Kougai's effect, her chakra was still being drained. Making a series of hand signs, he used the Cloak: Art of Threatening technique. In order to make her almost completely paranoid at this time. Now she would feel, that she was going to be attacked from any angle that she could not see. Continuing with the hand signs, he activates his Kujaku Myouhou's Absorbtion technique, as the fan of purple feathers that had formed behind him scatter and surround her, each one absorbing chakra on contact. By now, she was losing chakra at a constant rate, much more then she should expect to be losing at one time. Let the game begin now. I'm hungry...." He says, with a twisted grin, that forms across his features.

Komen was watching as he wished that he could hear what they were talking about. But komen needed to watch to make sure that no innocents would be washed up in their destructive fight. Komen was folding his arms across his chest as his byakugan eye sight was watching the battle unfold. Komen was curious as he saw the strange shinobi that didn't seem all together human. He was wondering if he was part of the clans that were part of the disaster at the Hidden Leaf Village. Komen decided to simply watch before he acted on a whim. Komen could see that the area around their battle field was saturated in a strange chakra. Komen raised an eyebrow as it seemed to be the same as one of his techniques, but on a much smaller scale. Komen was starting to get suspicious that this one was part of the destruction of the hidden leaf village.

Kikyo felt the paranoia set in, but since she was already an extremely paranoid person to begin with, it was virtually useless against her. But she did feel her breathing getting harder, but this was something that she was also used to. She coughed violently, using her sleeve to covered her face as she felt herself coughing up blood. She cursed loudly since she knew it was because she'd skipped out on taking her medicine. She quickly ripped her mouth off her face and started hacking up the red liquid and spitting it out. She caught her breath almost instantly and decided now was not the time to be worrying on using only her main clan's moves. She did a few hand signs and brought up Hell Viewing Technique. It started with a circle of leaves falling around them. She hoped maybe this would at least give her some time to recover from what had just happened.

Frowning slightly, and running deductions through his head. He was curious about the technique that his opponent had just used. But that was no matter. For now he just needed to continue his attacks. With a single hand sign six black demensional portals opened up around Kikyo. Each launching a single barbed and razor created chain out at her. Each chain aiming to pierce her skin with their barbs, and then proceed to hold her in place, while draining enough chakra to keep them in this world, this was the technique known as Ethereal Chains . At the same time as the vision began to take effect, Than was already making another set of hand signs, frowning slightly, he then uses the next jutsu, while the horrific visions came into his mind. Though he used the jutsu none the less. He thrust a hand forward, as a blast of chakra used from the Channel Technique. A technique that could shatter mountains, if used to the correct degree. The blast of chakra heading directly towards his opponent.

Komen was watching the attack patterns of each opponent and raised an eye brow. "Hmmm...seems rather interesting..." Komen said as he was trying to figure out what and why these two shinobi were fighting. Komen was also making sure that Hedoro wasn't going to come and get him while he was watching these two shinobi duke it out like their was no tomorrow. While the darker looking individual was firing chains at the shinobi, the suspicion still didn't shake off of Komen. "Hmmm...the tip might have been for this one. And he is attacking a shinobi of this village if he was found out. Hm." He said as he was stroking his chin a bit, trying to be wise and not reacting when he wasn't going to gain anything out of it. If he believed the shinobi was going to die, he was going to see if their was something he could do to salvage the situation, if he felt he needed to do so.
((remember you guys can skip me ^_^ I'm not interacting with your characters))

Kikyo used substitution once again to aviod the barbs, wanting to sigh in releif as they missed her. She reached into her sleeve and popped another food pill in her mouth. She checked and saw she only had one left, so she'd have to make that one count. She then popped her medication n her mouth and watched as the attack went to the spot she had been seconds ago, glad to see that she hadn't been facing towards anything but the tops of trees, but even those suffered minimal damage. It seemed today she was just plain old lucky. She decided now would have to be a good time to use her vessles as she allowed a single one from her back to be vissable and she shot it at Than, grabbing at his skull. It was a moment like this where she was thankful that these things were as real as she wanted them as she grabbed hold of his skull and squeezed a little.

Feeling something grasping for his head, Than's eyes widen for this was no normal shinobi attack. Though as soon as his eyes widened, he was gone in about the same moment, the same substitution technique that he opponent used far too willingly. As soon as he was ready, Thantos revealed his position once again, this time he released the now presumed genjutsu with the Genjutsu release. Though he had not expected it at first, when the vision's occured he had known it almost automatically. With the Kujaku Myouhou's Control ability. The purple feathers scattered and then surrounded Kikyo attempting to wrap around her, and create a line from him to her. If this succeeded, he would be able to take complete control of her actions. Even if they were against her will. It was as simple as that. Thantos smirks darkly, this was starting to grow dull, not exactly the kind of fight he liked.

Kikyo created a lighting clone that ended up getting caught in the purple feathers as she ran to find a quick place. She knew the perfect jutsu that would help her to get her chakara back, though it was a very risky (and some what suicidal move for her to be using in a battle like this. She sighed as she did the hand signs, hoping the clone at least kept him semi busy as she finished the last of her hand signs. She yawned and fell to the ground, letting Great awake and hoping maybe this would help her a little since she already had a freakish amount of chakara to begin with. So, who knew? Maybe this could work. Just so long as she got her chakara back before she was found and killed.
((And yes, she is sleeping in battle. XD ))

Through the link with the clone, he knew almost instantly it was a clone he had attacked. Severing the connection, he turns and looks around for a moment, before using the Chakra Tracker ability of the Kujaku Myouhou. Grinning, he came in contact with the chakra trail that she had left behind when she created the clone. "No fleeing during battle, I'm sad to say..." He says, as he shakes his head slowly, before using the ethereal body flicker skill in order to follow the trail. Within moments, he was floating before his former opponent, as he frowns a deeper frown. "Sleeping..... Well, if that is the case, this battle is done. Clearly, if she must sleep to regain her missing chakra.. Then I have surely won.." He says, with a slight roll of his inverted gaze. Crossing his arms across his bare chest, he hovers there in the air, waiting for her to awaken.

Kikyo woke up just in time for the guy she was fighting to finish talking. Her eyes grew wide and she cursed out loud, falling back and pulling out a kunai since she hadn't expected to be found so quickly. "Dang! Up 'til now I had only done practice sparrs against the only person in this village who gives a damn about me. I should have known better than to try and use that move on you." She sighed, knowing full well she had been beaten. "Well, guess this means you'll probably leave this village and telling every one here's nothing but weaklings all because of me, huh?" She sighed. "If only I had taken part in the stupid chuunins and gone up a rank! Maybe then I'd be better at this fighting!" Her already normal pouty lips were even poutier than usual since she was so disappointed in herself.

"You really think other villages give a damn about one shinobi? I only came here on a limb, to see if there are any decent chakra based techniques to use from here. And I sure as hell did not find any... You're weak little hide, does not concern me in the least. This fight only started, because of my surprise that you would not listen to me, and that you would run away like you did in the beginning.." He says, as he shakes his head slowly, a simple knife forming from the same odd black void in between his clenched fingers, as he then proceeds to clean out the imaginary dirt from beneath his clawed fingernails. "I am known as Thantos Descartes, of the Hidden Twilight Village. You may call me Than, for short if you like.... I came here, for the soul reason that I have already said, and I am not a rogue ninja.." He says, as he rolls his eyes at her in disgust. "You are so fed up with your villages laws, and your paranoia, that you have no life outside of it.. One day, your pride and paranoia, will set you against someone, who is evil to the point of killing you, because they can... I may be evil, but the name of my game, is to devour your chakra, not kill your body..." Than says finally, as he sighs switches hands with the ethereal knife to begin working on the imaginary dirt beneath the clawed fingernails of his other hand.
