I think the worst book to movie adaptation is Bambi. Even so, Bambi is still my favorite Disney movie, along with the Lion King. You should read the book for Bambi. It is by Felix Salten. It is sooooooo good. It is kinda cruel in parts though. the prince of the forest can be really mean.

When I was little, my mom read the original bambi to us...I mean, this is a first edition copy we own, mega collector's item. I don't remember it well, I just remember I was traumatized. >.<
