"I wonder why that didn't work. Lilith shouldn't have been able to catch that considering she was under the influence of a dark power."
He then went over to see if Larien was alright, his arm was also caked with a redish brown from the place were the splinter hit.

Terror took hold of Clover when Lilith caught the arrow. She felt a lump in her throat as Lilith’s words slithered into her ears. Just as Clover was loosing hope, a now screaming Lilith was immersed in a red haze, and once the haze eased away Clover saw Larien in Lilith’s place. The bow of energy disappeared without Clover ever noticing. “Thank goodness,” words of relief escaped her mouth quietly as she slowly approached Larien’s motionless body. Luckily she noticed the rise and fall of the woman’s chest. Larien was freed of that beast, for now.
Words registered in Clover’s mind as Epotheros commented on Lilith catching her arrow. “I don’t know.” She winced as she knelt down beside Larien. She hadn’t noticed the bruises littering her own body. Oh, well, she thought. This wasn’t nearly as painful as colliding with the fissure earlier in their adventure. She looked Larien over and then looked towards Epotheros. Dried blood was caked on his arm. “You should get that cleaned up,” Clover suggested as she motioned towards his wound.

When Epotheros heard Clover's suggestion he replied with his own witty response, "Perhaps you should also put on some less revealing clothing," referring to her night clothes.
He then left them and walked to the main hall to request the services of the guards to remove larien and take her to the cells below. Epotheros instructed them to do this because he knew that Larien was a threat to them and herself as long as Lillith was around. The cells also were made with runes engraved into it that would block out all forms of magical energy. It was designed by Lord Baragoon himself and he had told Epotheros before that it would even be able to hold monsters like Zant.
After that he picked up one of the Lord's books and went on his way towards the bath house to clean up his arm. When he arrived at the pool he got undressed and lowered himself into the warm water and brushed his right hand over his arm and wiped off the dry blood. As he sat in the bath he begain to read the book, pausing to think every so often. He was trying to figure something out that was of high importance.

Coming from the shadows of the walls and not bothering to get in the pool, Ty struck a question in the direction of Epotheros. "So, what exactly happened last night? I was unable to join the fun." Slightly leaning on his Mina, he was prepared to listed to his companions story.

Larien's eyes flickered slightly and opened. Sitting up she looked at the damp room she was in. Curling up she realized that she had little clothing on and it was chilly in the cell, as well as wet.
"What happened?"
Shivvering all she got in response was her own echo.

Clover’s face became deep red by Epotheros’ comment. She waited for him to leave then left as well. Though she knew that Larien was now a threat, but Clover couldn’t help but feel remorse for her. It wasn’t Larien’s choice to be controlled by Lilith. As her thoughts coursed through her mind Clover found herself back in her room. The door was still in pieces littered about the floor. Clover gathered her clothing and then walked out to find a vacant guest room. There she changed and returned to the room she was staying in. Ignoring the mess she walked over to the bed, laid down on top of the covers, and stared up at the ceiling. Thoughts of the ancients and her connection to them filled her mind as she tried decipher why the ancient arrow hadn’t defeated the darkness. It all confused her.

"Well kid I am not quite sure what is happening so I am reading this book to try and figure it out."
Epotheros then got out of the bath and got dressed wrapping some fresh gauze around his arm before exiting the area. Later on Epotheros went to find Lord Baragoon who he was sure would have some idea of fixing this. While Epotheros was making his way through the main hall he ordered several of the guards to take a bed and some warm dry clothing down to where Larien was being held.
When Epotheros couldn't find the lord he wished that Tramer would show up since he was the most intune with magic arts out of the group. With this thought Epotheros went on a search for him.

Short and vague...typical. Ty thought to himself. He then traveled through the place until he came upon the room minus a door. Peering in the room he saw splinters everywhere and clover laying atop the bed thinking to herself. He began to pick up the various pieces of wood, but before he began, he asked clover "mind if i come in..? after he picked up a few peices, he held them next to each other and examined them as he casually asked, "what happened in here?"

A faint sound reached Clover’s ears as her mind worked its way through thought after thought and many memories. She lifted herself up and swung her legs across the side of the bed. Peering over to the bare doorway, she saw Ty, and heard his questions. “You may,” Clover responded airily. Her mind was still processing the past events.
A sigh issued from her mouth as she began to explain, “Just a horrible mess I’m afraid. It seems that the collar on Larien’s neck has proven to be a quite a problem.” Clover didn’t want to have to tell the whole story. She didn’t want to think about Larien being controlled and attacking her. Then a memory popped into her head. Wasn’t Ty there in the room when it all happened? Clover crooked an eyebrow and then dismissed it all as her imagination toying with her.

Seeing her c**k an eyebrow out of the corner of his eye, Ty asked, "What..? Finishes gathering all the peices and leaves them just inside the doorway, against the wall.

Soon after the guards had given Larien the comfort items and left a small goblin looking creature appeared in the room out of a puff of smoke. He ran over to Lariens cage and undid the lock so that the door could be opened with little force. He then left the same way he came and night fall soon surronded the castle. Epotheros was in the library during the early portions of the night trying to discover what went wrong with the arrows.

“Oh, it’s nothing,” she lazily responded. She watched as he picked up the last few pieces of door. “Thank you,” left her mouth as she sat on the bed’s edge. Clover was still confused by what had happened earlier. She had no wish of leaving her thoughts as of yet.

Seeming that everyone else was deep in thought or not to be found, Ty retired slightly early that night.
He drempt again that night, just as the night before, he was imprissoned in some sort of cage or cell with absolutely no way out. Only this time he was able to see his captor...but when he saw the face, he was stunned and confused. It was himself. He was staring at his own face, not a mirror nor a copy,
it was Ty!

Within the dead silence of night Larien's screams carried around the castle once again.
Lilith was back.
Slamming herself against the cell door it swung open with great force. The two guards never stood a chance and were killed instantly by a wave of her hand. Slowly she climbed the stairs up to the main floor of the castle and on upwards towards the rooms.

Thrashing about in his bed, Ty is unable to free himself from the dream cage and unable to awaken. Still not understanding how his captor can be himself, he thinks it to be a trick of some sort. His captor slowly dissapears from his head, but he remains imprisoned within the dream/cage.
