Tenkyl starts going down the steps under the desk, turning back to look once more at the clouds which were almost right overhead already. As he closed the hatch the rain started pitter-pattering on the boat which turned into an almost constant chatter of thick drops upon their boat. "Not sure how long this will last, but it doesn't seem like it's going to let up anytime soon..."

Sundrea tugged lightly on her ears. The rain falling over head would sound a bit annoying for a little while but she was sure it would drown out if it were to continue for a long time. While glancing around, she tried not to sigh. There wasn't enough room to dance so now she had to find something else for entertainment. "Well, if we're going to be stuck down here for a while, we might as well find something to do," she said to him while moving over to her bag to look through it. Entertainment wasn't something she usually carried with her.

Tenkyl reaches into his pocket and pulls our a small ocarina, smiling over to her a moment. "Well, you can't teach me to dance right now, but perhaps I could teach you to play?""

Sundrea glanced up from her bag. "Right now?" She looked around the tiny room. The bed took up a lot of the space while other little bags and such took up others. Luckily, most of their things were in storage. "I don't think we've got enough room in here. We'd be tripping over things and bumping into the bed."

" Tripping over things while playing instruments...?"

"Eh?" Sundrea blinked at him then gave a little laugh. "I heard you say dance first then playing an instrument. Guess I'm not yet used to the rain." And it sounded like it was picking up, the boat rocking to one side, causing her to sway where she stood. She might have had good balance but it got too rough then staying on her feet wouldn't be easy. "Alright, you can try and teach me. Can't promise I'll be your best student, though."

Thump. Thump, thump.
Something in the water bumped up against the hull of their boat...

Tenkyl just smiles and sits down against the hull, holding the small instrument out to Sundrea and patting the spot next to him. Before anything else could happen, Tenkyl hears the Thump. Thump. Thump against the hull. Cocking an eyebrow, he sets the instrument down and gets up, wobbling a bit from the rocking of the small ship. "I'm going to go see what that is. I'll be right back." The feline goes up to the hatch and quickly slips out of it, walking over to the bow and looking over to where the thumping was coming from.

Moving over to Tenkyl, Sundrea was just about to sit down when the thumping occurred. What the hell was that? Her ears twitched a little while Tenkyl went to investigate. Her natural curiosity wanted to go with him to see what it was but getting soaked to the bone while listening to the cracks of thunder didn't sound like too much fun. "Alright. I'll just...stay here." Wasn't like there was anywhere else she'd go.

Thump.
A drowned, bloated corpse bumped up against the hull of the boat, floating along. There were several corpses floating in the water all around the boat, floating idly as the boat passed through, occassionally bumping into one or another. It looked like the tragic scene of a shipwreck, yet there was no ship in sight; just a thick fog clinging to the surface of the water up ahead.

Tenkyl looks around at the bodies in the water as the rain pours down on him and the thunders cracks and shines in the sky. He turns back and head down into the hull of the ship once more, shaking his fur off before going and sitting back down next to Sundrea. "I wouldn't go out there if I were you..."

Sundrea glanced up when Tenkyl came back inside, her head tilting. Damn her curiosity. "Why not? Other than because it's pouring outside." Seeing as he was still dripping all over the floor, she leaned over to one of the drawers under the bed and opened it up. Pulling out a fresh towel, she handed it to him.

Rain would continue to pour heavily for a while and every now and then another body would bump into the boat. Something loomed in the distance, but the rain and gloom made visibility poor. It was only in flashes of lightning that it would be visible, if only for an instance. It was a ship. A huge cruise ship. It was floating idle, dead in the water or just derelict, but that would be all that one would be able to make from it all, if they even bothered looking.

He takes the towel and starts drying off his body and clothes, his fur standing on end from the quick dry-off. " Dead stuff. Lots of it." He said almost apathetically as the storm continues to rock their little boat, tossing it around in the waves.

"Dead stuff?" Sundrea raised a brow at him while trying to resist laughing as his new appearance. Now she really wanted to see for herself, the thump thump against the boat about to drive her up the wall. Finally, she pushed herself to her feet. "Call me morbid but I want to see." She didn't bother waiting for any sort of reply as she made her way back on deck, the rain instantly soaking her through. Trying to keep a steady footing, Sundrea looked over the railing, eyes widening at the sight. "These are people... What the hell happened..." As she continued looking, something in the distance caught her attention, causing her to squint in attempt to see what it was. "Is that..." Flash. The sky lit up, allowing her to better see the object, if only for a very brief moment. "A ship?"
