With the festival moving around, DeArca kept close with the others. He however couldn't keep the crystallaureate off his mind. He ran away when the priestess said there was nothing they could do for Illyana and finally, he returned after spending so much time being alone. Ash was perched on his shoulder and DeArca looked over, petting him. He then sighed and shook his head. "We have no choice but to wait until the festival is over, Ash. The priestess said she can only help us then" He said and Ash squeaked.

Upon the docks, the natural elements of air and water already met- and wood, of course, between the two. It was rare that earth and fire were also brought to this collection- but when they were, there was a lovely sense of natural completion. It was this feeling that brought the Filor duo back up to the surface. They poked their beautiful heads up through the water, and held onto the dock poles, even though they needed nothing more than their powerful green-blue tails to keep them aloft.
They looked upwards at the ensemblage. "Hello there. ...What's with the anxious faces?" The smaller one asked, smiling upwards at the gypsies.
Far behind them, at the end of the long dock, near to where the festival crowd was pressing down the narrow lane from the cobblestone street to the beaches, three figures waited, coming slightly forth from the crowd. The man looked down the long docks at the figures, and his face soured incredibly.
"That's them."
The woman knew that, already. She hadn't spent her life in search of the gypsies... to not recognize them. Regardless, she nodded, and whispered something to the little one next to them. Then two of them... backed away into the crowd.

Maeko-Hana "Are you looking for someone...?" Anezka asked, figuring that her mother was probably searching for Valelldia or one of the other wagon sisters, "I could help, if you want." She wrapped her arm around Shy's waist and balanced up on her toes, causing them both to giggle.
"Oh, no, I think everyone's still too tall for you to see over...you just stay with me." Leshya'e nodded and rubbed Anezka's back and continued to search the crowds, I'm not sure you could really help anyways, I don't even know who I'm looking for. "Hello," the voice was dark and familiar- and if Leshya'e and her daughter were to turn, or hear it, they woulf know that it had belonged to Valelldia. "Hello sisters. ...How did you enjoy the ceremonies?"

The priestess said she can only help us then" He said and Ash squeaked. The priestess, after the ceremony, came looking for the man with the little mouse. When she finally found him, she sidled up close to him, her voice so low it was only a whisper. "I've sent some of the priests to speak to the Heraph... and he says ... that since we don't know how to return ...this... Illyana to you as you say she was before, we are going to send her with you the way she is. Where is your caravan moored? We will... send some priests to ...deliver her." Unspoken apologies filled the pauses.

Oqaia "Hello," the voice was dark and familiar- and if Leshya'e and her daughter were to turn, or hear it, they woulf know that it had belonged to Valelldia. "Hello sisters. ...How did you enjoy the ceremonies?" "Val?" Anezka turned her head, a beaming smile soon shooting across her face, "Val, you're here too!" The girl pulled away from her mother and wrapped the dark gypsy in a warm embrace.
Leshya'e greeted her sister a bit less enthusiastically then her daughter, with a firm forearm grip and a kiss to her cheek. "It was quite amazing...it began like many other celebrations...but it ended up like something I've never seen before..."
As she spoke, you could tell that Leshya'e was becoming distracted. She chewed on her lip, trying to both form sentances and remember the words that were whirling around in her head.

"No, no, I'm not upset..." Leshya'e shook her head and then looked down at Anezka before speaking again to Valelldia.
"Anezka is seeking the Protectorate. At one of our stops we made a purchase of some dust that, according to the trader, will tell you the location of a piece of the tri-rune..."
As Leshya'e mentioned the Icarus Dust, Anezka reached down to her belt for it. "Mum! It's gone, it's stolen..." Her large eyes soon glazed over as though she were about to cry, devastated that she had just taken two steps back on her quest.
"No, no Ani, it isn't...I have it..." Showing the bottle to her daughter, Leshya'e explained further, "I consumed the dust and it said that one of the pieces was in Neried Isle. So...I have to get there some how...but I don't know who to ask to help me."

"Hello," she said softly, "My name is Marissa. I was told by a Filor names Swizzlet that coming to the docks might increase my chances of meeting the Northern King." She paused. "Sentinel Loch? You see...we're trying to free my son from a curse." She indicated the candle in her lap. "This is Kale," she said softly.
The gypsy, so intent on the task at hand, failed to notice the trio behind her.

Rojiza watches the Filor intently. She's anxious to get on with this, to make Kale a person again.
Caroline, who had been looking around nervously--water isn't really her thing--spots the trio fading back into the crowd. She narrows her eyes, hoping for a better view of them, but then shakes her head and focuses on the task at hand, putting them away from her mind.

Jal Petulengro "Why wouldya leave yar caravan?" Jal pried. "Either way we best be gettin on by now" Jal said putting his arm around Alt's shoulder. It was a friendly gesture but may be a little 'too' friendly to most. All Altaira did was raise her eyebrow and shrug away, pulling the bag with Sindri perched on it up her shoulder a little. A casual gesture that still meant no. "Sindri annoys a panther there. I don't want to cause trouble....so, anywhere you need to stop off to get your things before we leave?"

For all her nerves, Lorelei also didn't catch the trio. But she did feel... as though she were being watched. But that wasn't unexpected, and she tried to pay it no mind.
She jumped into the conversation with Missa and the Filor. "We were told that water... would be able to help fire." She shifted Vanna again, who was beginning to squirm, begging to be set down with little coos. But she'd be damned if she let the girl down when they were, quite literally, on the water.

Jal took the hint, and put his hands up to indicate he didn't mean anything. A sly grimace was pasted on his face. He then put his hands in his pockets to avoid any other incidents.
"Pantha huh? Well cat fights I take it. That's no good." He said.
He nodded at the question. "Well I reckon all I need to grab is my horse and cart, it has most everything I need in it. I aint got much." He shrugged.

"That's basically what I have, a cart and...well, a mule but he's half-horse, so close enough." Pearl could stay with her family. Lochan, Lochan could go with them. Hmm...anything she'd borrowed lately? Altaira couldn't think of anything.
"Well, lets go get your things then."

Valelldia said, silent for most of the mother-and-daughter transaction, and the subsequent spill of an easy secret. "is several weeks away, by boat. I wouldn't want you to go alone, you'd be very far away from us, especially as we would continue travelling. I wouldn't want you to leave us, sister." She put a comforting, dark hand on Lesh's shoulder. "Perhaps we can talk to the caravan about travelling to the Isle."

The gypsy, so intent on the task at hand, failed to notice the trio behind her. The older one looked at her friend a moment, then back up at the gypsies. "I don't know anyone named Swizzlet, but she was right... the best way to find us, and to get to the Northern King- the 'water' in whoever or whatever told you how to prevent the curse," she said, answering Lorelei as well, "and hello there, little Kale," she finished, cooing up at the poor, transformed boy. The younger one jumped in. "So- we can bubble you there, probably... the two of us. But we'll need an earth element to ground the boy, and to come with, otherwise the water magic might do even more damage." She looked at his mother, calculating, and then at her friend, speaking to her. "I think... she's a little too big. Do you think we could bubble her?" The larger one shook her head. "Hardly."
