Art watched as Iruka sensei demonstrated what they would be doing. Iruka made the handsigns and suddenly transformed into the Hokage he then said, "This is the Henge no jutsu. You use it to transform into something or to be more exact, someone to hide or sneak into an enemy village while undercover. I'm guessing that many of you already know how to do the jutsu but lets see how you do."Art was at the back of the line and watched as the students went up and attempted the jutsu. As Iruka sensei said many of them already knew how to perform the jutsu but the others failed. [Henge no Jutsu 2/3]

It was getting closer to Art's turn. Luckily he had been taught this jutsu a year ago and this test should be a breeze. As His friend went up to do the jutsu and he was next. His friend failed miserably and made a fat, midget Hokage. Art the stood up and made the handsigns while saying, Henge no Jutsu!" In a puff of smoke was a perfect clone of the Hokage. As he changed back Iruka sensei said, "Good job Art. Go on outside and eat lunch." [Henge no Jutsu 3/3]

While he ate his lunch Art saw a young Chuunin was watching them. He saw the Chuunin climb up a tree just by walking up it and went over and asked, "Hey how do you climb a tree like that?" The Chuunin looked down at him and said, "You mean climbing a tree? All you have to do is puch the chakra down into your feet and climb.""Alright watch me and tell me if I'm doing it right."[Tree Climbing 1/4]

Art put his foot up the tree and then the next. he almost made it to the first branch but fell down. "What the heck? Is this even possible or are you using some kind of Genjutsu just to make it look like your climbing that tree!?""You know it really might be easier if you took that big puppet off of your back.""Oh... ha I forgot about that." Art took off the puppet and got ready to try again.[tree climbing 2/4]

Art started to climb the tree. He got above the first branch and was almost halfway to the top when he lost control and fell down. "Ow... what happened?""You used to much chakra," the Chuunin said, "You need to keep it balanced. If you remember that then you will make it to the top this time. Go ahead try again.""Alright," Art said and he started climbing again.[Tree Climbing 3/4]

Art remembered to keep the amount of chakra perfectly balanced and climbed again. He soon was past halfway up the tree and eventually he reached up to where the Chuunin was. "Eh, not perfect but... I guess it was pretty good for your an academy student. Well I've taught you that and completed my mission." He smiled and dashed off, yelling, "Thanks kid!" And then he dissapeared.Art then heard Iruka sensei yell, "Okay everyone, come back inside and get ready for the next part of the test!"[Tree Climbing 4/4]

When Art walked into the room he saw that everyone was lined up again. He was last again because it had taken him a minute to climb back down from the tree. He watched as Iruka sensei again demonstrated what we were to do. Iruka sensei made the handsigns and suddenly there were two of him. "This is called the Bunshin no Jutsu. I want you to each come up here one at a time and try to use what you have learned so far to perform the jutsu ."[Bunshin no Jutsu 1/3]

Komen having mastered these few Jutsu's was having alot of fun. "Sensei whats next what's next."
"Hold on hold on. The next technique is the Bushin no jutsu, which helps you create clones." The teacher showed them the seals needed and told them to channel chakra throught out their bdy to make thistechnique work.
Komen smiled and practiced the seaals, getting used to them.
1/4 Bushin no jutsu.

Komen getting used to the seals started to focus on distribution of his chakra. He started to let it vent out and then focusing it to certain parts of his body, like to his hand then to his feet. "Hmm I hope I can do this technique On the first try." he said as he released his chakra and then used the seals at the same time. "Bushin No Jutsu." he under his breath as smoke engulfed him. He opened his eyes to see only a grey blob of a clone on the ground next to him. "Aww man. not even close."
2/3 bushin No jutsu.

The students went up one by one. They weren't quite as good at this one but the ones who could do the Henge no Jutsu could pretty much do it. It was getting close to his turn. He frowned he wasn't very good at this one. He knew the basics of it but hadn't quite tacked it down. He went up to perform the justu. When the smoke appeared he saw that his clone looked dead. Iruka was about to mark him as failed when Art said, "Wait no, let me give it one more shot!"Iruka looked at him. "Fine but try and get it right this time. Let the chakra flow through you."[Bunshin no Jutsu 2/3]

"Alright I'll try." Art took some time to build his chakra. He could feel it flowing through him and hear the flow as if it was rushing water. He tried and to trap it into one spot so he could access it more easily but was unable to. Still he could feel and hear the chakra flowing. He quickly made the hand signs and yelled out, "Bunshin no Jutsu!" He looked to the left afraid to see another disconfigured clone but saw a almost identical copy of him "Yeah,! I did it I made a clone." He then blushed a little since everybody was staring at because of the outburst. "Uh... sorry, got a little excited." He started to head back to his seat when Iruka put his hand on his shoulder. "Good Art. I will deduct some points for the second try of course but... you pass," he said and smiled.[Bunshin no Jutsu completed]

"Alright I want everyone who passed the test to come with me! If you didn't pass then I want you to stay here and practice you jutsus."Art followed Iruka with the other Genin. He wondered what this was about. "Okay all of you," Iruka said, "Go with my friend Senel here," He pointed at a man that seemed to have dropped from the tree above Iruka. Art was with Iruka. He stood attentively wondering what this was about."Okay I'm going to be teaching you all the Art of Substitution. This might take a little while because I'm going to work with you one at a time, Art," he said pointing at Art, "I'll work with you first."[Art of Substitution 1/4]

"Alright," Iruka said, "I'll be throwing these at you," he held up a small stick, "It won't hurt but it will probably help you do the jutsu. The Art of Substitution is a jutsu where you replace your body with something else like a log." He then demonstrated the hand signs, "Those will be the hand signs you will need to do.""Alright this should be easy," He tok off his puppet and threw it over near a tree. "I'll trade places with my puppet," he explained. "Okay then lets start!" Iruka jumped back and threw a pole.[Art of Substitution 2/4]

Art watched the poles come. He did the handsigns as fast as he could but nothing happened and the poles hit him, "Ow that kind off hurts. I thought you said it wouldn't hurt!" He glared at Iruka Iruka watched and said, "Sorry but it might make you learn faster. Try and place you chakra where the puppet is and bringit to you while you go to it.""Okay!" Art watched as the poles came at him. He tried the jutsu again but nothing happened. "Again!" Iruka threw another pole at him.Art failed again but they kept practicing it. Iruka kept throwing the pole repeatedly and Art started to grow tired.[Art of Substitution 3/4]
