Natalie was still in a daze when she took the dagger that had inflicted her pain and plunged it into Devon's chest. She shook once before looking up and him and putting her hands to her mouth. "Oh god look what I've done to you," She moved her hands as if to take the dagger out but was not sure the best way to do it. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean too," she said once again feeling more sad than worry. "I don't deserve to live even in this hellish husk." She sighed and looked down at her ankles not sure what else to say at this moment.

evon took out the dagger then his cut healed itself. "It's ok...i'm not hurt i can only feel other pain." He said it as if it was an okay thing but it was more pain ful then ever to feel everyone else pain. Devon looked at her then smiled. "You deserve to live as long as you want to don't think the way you are now." He wanted to make her feel wanted because she was. He didn't know if anyone else wanted her but he did.

Natalie looked up at him her unbeating heart still sinking with the weight of her problems. She forced a smile before throwing her arms around Devons neck and hugging him. Tell me, tell me right now," she thought to herself as she hugged him.

Devon looked at her then smiled hugging her back her skin was softer then he would have thought it to be. "You know..i really like you." He told her not knowing what he just said but he knew it was true. Devon pulled her up into a sitting up position then sat next to her hoping she wouldn't get mad.

Natalie pushed Devon away from her looking into his eyes. She paused for a few seconds not sure what to do but did what her still heart told her too. Natalie shut her eyes and kissed Devon, not caring what he thought all that mattered is how she felt. She knew it was selfish but right now, in this moment, she didn't really care.

Devon looked at her then closed his eyes as she kissed him. Devon felt the emotions from her go into him and he felt happy for once he was happy and he could feel his own emotions also. Devon held her close and a blush came across his cheeks while then were still as if time had stopped.

Natalie deepened the kiss not wanting this moment to end. But she soon became self concious and ended it, feeling weird inside almost like something stirred. When her heart thumped a single beat. Natalie's eyes grew wide as she kicked at the ground and pushed her self further away from Devon. She wasn't sure if she was feeling angry or joyful at the sudden surprise. "Devon....I think my heart....just....beat," she said shrinking back alittle more.

Devon looked at her in surprise then felt kind of self fish because he knew that it was probley his healing or just love that made her heart beat. He looked at her again then smiled. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" He smiled at her then sat down looking at her now being atleast 2 feet away from her because she backed away so far.

"I'm...I'm not sure.." she stuttered not sure how to act. She was confused holy powers useally hurt her they didn't heal her so how did her heart beat? She sat on the ground and looked at her hands, the eye in her left hand looking back at her. Her hands shook but she reluctently crawled back tword Devon.

Devon smiled at Natalie then his wings glew a light purple as she got closer he had no clue what was happening but it had happened before when he healed his friend Hallie when her wings had torn off. He looked at her then his wings flapped.

Natalie smiled and touched his wings a bit and then settled down next to him taking some warmth for herself. "I like you too," she said to him cuddling with him. "So," she began, "Do you have any friends?"

Devon smiled at her as his wing glew more purple as they gained healing power into them. "Yeah, but only one...Her name is Hallie i took care of her in the forest for 6 years and before that she was alone and same with me shes like my little sister." He looked at her again then smiled. "Do you have any friends?"

"You," she said sheepishly, "You and my demons." Natalie sat up straighter and hled his hand with her own long slender one. "We never have much to say, but when you do say somthing it's always nice to just listen," she saidgiving him some room to breathe.

Devon smiled then the power from his wings went from his wings to his arms to his hand to her hand. He smiled then laughed alittle. "Thanks...I'm not that fond on a talker." He smiled again then moved alittle closer to her.

Natalie nodded at Devon, understanding where he was coming from. "It's diffrent for me," she began looking down at her hands. "I've had no one to talk to for so long that now that I finally do I want to tell him everything." She looked up at Devon and smiled giving him a light peck on the cheek. "I should really get going, though the cold is good for my skin I like feeling warm to," she said standing,once again brushing the loose grass from her robe. "I also have to sew my robe," she stated pointing to her bare midriff. She sighed alittle looking at her stomach. She wasn't fat by any means but she did have some excess skin hanging over her bones. "Well I see ya later," she said a smile once again graceing her visage. "Oh and before I forget," she jabbed her hand into a little pouch she had attached to her hip, retreaving a palm sized pink gem. "Use this to find me." She spoke a few soft words to the gem before lightly kissing it and tossing it to Devon. She turned tword the dorms and began walking in it's direction, emphasizing how her hips swayed with every stride, another smile creeped onto her face.
