There was a moment of silence and nothing after Wahotts' mighty howl. He was prepared to do so a second time when a distant, soft, unmistakable voice spoke to his mind. His tail wagged and he stood up seeing the trail in the mist appear before him. Despite being older and more mature than before, he was still young and in a moment of such great excitement as this, old habits were hard to fight. He loosed a second howl, shorter than the last, and clearly one of happy excitement. I'm comming Mama, ma and Kaida! Kaida, It's Mama, she's here she's here!"
"That's great boy, lets go see her then. If anyone can help us at all, she can." Kaida spoke with encouragement hiding her concern. As they had gotten older, Kaida was learning how to hide her feelings a little from Wahotts. She could only do a little; but when he was as excited as this it was not difficult to hide her small concern. Why had she not come to them? Was she busy or was there another reason? Something didn't feel right but Kaida could not think why and so forced back her worry and climbed back atop her furry friend's back holding tight as he took off through the village racing towards where he knew his mother was. The path was narrow but traceable, still, Kaida was excited to see the wolf herself. She was Wahotts' mother; but in many ways she had been like a mother to Kaida as well. Soon a familiar shape could be made out through the mists and the two advanced. Wahotts stopping several feet away and allowing Kaida to slide off his back so they could approach her side by side.
"It's been a long time, Ayala." Kaida said softly. The childish side of her was fighting to emerge, she wanted to runforwards and throw her arms about the wolf mother's neck and hug her like she used to; but the more sensible side of herself warned against doing this unless given a sign of permission. "Have you been well?" Kaida had been about to ask if she was remembered; but thought it foolish to ask if a mother remembered the one whom she had given her child to.
"Mama, I've missed you. How are you Mama? Are you happy to see us?" Wahotts asked moving past Kaida to nuzzle, affectionately, against his mother's face, like he had when a pup. Wahotts was eternally young at heart and attitude, sometimes his greatest weakness, but often a great strength as well. It was necessary considering the one whom he was with still was a child for the most part, and bore a similar spirit, during the best of times.

Ayala was a bit hesitant to lower the protection she had placed around the village. Perhaps the arrival of Kaida and her pup was a foretelling of a possible reunion. Before she could answer them, let alone return the mist back to her, was she nuzzled by Wahott's maw. A sensible feeling that she did indeed miss, as much as any child would miss the caress of their mother. She moved her head over his shoulder as if to hug him in a way that only she could.
Her fur was slightly gnatted and less than perfect like it usually was, and for obvious reasons. The mist that protected the village was made of the chakra from her fur.
I've seen better days. Ayala explained to Kaida, her hind quarters dropped down as if to tell them what had happened after their visit to the Hidden Leaf Village.
After we went to confront the Hyuuga, disaster struck, as I'm sure you already know. The seperation caused several things to happen, I've lost all connection with Zenjin. Hyousetsu isn't doing that well either... Our home... is gone. Destroyed. When Nakamura found out, she went back to Yukigakure to see what she could do, and I haven't seen her since then. I'd assume that since we're still here, that Zenjin is alright, but I can't seem to get ahold of Hyousetsu either. I guessed that if I waited long enough, that someone would come back for me, and I guessed right. In short... I doubt I'll need to shroud the village any longer.
The mist around the village began to slowly pull away, the very form of mist was being sucked inside of Ayala, restoring her with each foot of mist that was taken back into her body. All the while, she stared at Wahotts, wondering if he could come to the conclusion by himself without having her tell him the best course of action. She wouldn't be able to find them on her own and it was Wahotts that inherited her tracking skill.
After several minutes, the Waterfall village had lost it's shrouded covering, revealing the village for what it was. It was untouched by the time, with the exception of it's expansion and repairs that had taken place from the battles that had occured there not too long ago. The Silver Springs, remained intact through it all, and it was where Ayala was going to lead them before they enveloped themselves to travel.
Come, let us talk at the Silver Springs. I'm sure you both could use a few minutes in the Springs after coming... she paused, having not asked what happened to them during the seperation. What happened to you for all this time... and where have you come from? We have much to catch up on.

Wahotts nuzzled his mother further once in her "embrace" and licked the side of her muzzle timidly. The great Ayala did not look like the memories either child had of her. This was a sad state for her to be in. Hearing his father could not be reached, let alone the target of their endeavors, and seeing how his mother had been forced to hold this place all on her own, saddened Wahotts and he truly felt a pang of guilt at having not been around to protect her. However, he knew his place was by Kaida, they had given him to her for just such a reason. She was special, and needed him more than his mother who was much stronger. He stayed close, up against her side as she rose to walk and they passed Kaida as they started to head towards the springs. As requested of them, Kaida fell in step.
Timidly, Kaida reached out towards the wolf who had almost been like a mother to her. She fought the tears from her eyes to hear all that had gone on. Things only grew worse when she realized their reasons for having come were fading fast. Kaida stopped the procession for a moment and threw caution to the wind wrapping her arms around the neck of the she-wolf and burying her face in the wolf's shoulder where a few pure tears landed on what remained of her fur. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry we couldn't be here to help you." she whispered before rising again and not speaking further till they reached the silver springs.

((Continuing Post from Konohagakure))
Nakamura stepped out of the portal behind Felix and his friend. Her portal quickly sealed shut behind her and the mist that lingered out of the portal remained upon the ground for several seconds before vanishing.
"Well, I guess it's time for introductions." Nakamura started, taking the hood off of her body and slowly removed the cloak, revealing her true clothes. Both of the headbands upon her shoulders revealed the Waterfall village and the Snow-turned-Ice Village's ensignias. She lifted her hands over her head after removing the cloak, shaking her hair about, before tossing the cloak to the floor.
"I'm so happy to be out of that cloak..." she remarked, lowering her hands to her sides. "My name is Nakamura Michiyo. Welcome to Takigakure, the Village Hidden amidst the Waterfall. Since you're going to be with us, you should meet my comrades... and don't be afraid of them. They only attack if I ask them to... or if there's a threat to the village." she added, turning around before calling out their names.
"ZENJIN! HYOUSETSU! AYALA!"
With each call of their names, Nakamura's companions seemed to appear from out of nowhere. Zenjin's powerful form lingered up to Nakamura and sat down upon her right. At first glance, one could tell that this wolf was not only the Alpha of his pack, but he had a regal air about him. While he left the fighting to his subordinates, Zenjin was the strongest of his kind and it showed. So, you've returned. Was there any news of the others?
No Zenjin. I didn't find them... but I did find new recruits for the Fifth Dawn. This means that you'll need to be extra carefull to keep your senses about you and the village. I'm almost expecting an attack from the Leaf, but I don't think they would be so bold.
Hyousetsu, who came up from the pond, shook himself off. He was inspecting the Underwater Caverns, trying to re-freeze the melting ice that had been placed there over a year ago. Who are they? he asked, circling the boys as if they were his prey. His ears tilted forward, giving a few sniffs to take in their scent. After his third circle, he stopped in front of the boy with the golden eyes. He saw something in him, something that reminded him of Zenjin. Hyousetsu's hackels raised a bit, his upper lip curled just enough to show his large canines.
Weren't you listening? They wished to be free of their prison in the Leaf. Now, we're going to look after them... and Hyousetsu! Leave them alone. They aren't food!
Hyousetsu looked over his shoulder at Nakamura with a rather annoyed look upon his maw. His hackels began to lower while his tail stiffened, his lip lowering back over his fangs. It was obvious that she had said something to annoy him without actually speaking. Instead of retorting, he moved to Nakamura's left and took a seat upon the ground beside her in a similar fashion to Zenjin.
Right when Hyousetsu sat down, Ayala dropped down from above, landing gracefully on her paws. There was a feminine air about her that showed when she walked. Her head lowered after she quickly sat down, as if bowing a greeting to the boys. Taking a quick sniff in the cloak's direction, there were scents on there that were vaguely familiar besides her charge's. Ayala jumped to her paws and scampered over to where the cloak had fallen, taking it gently within her jowels. Her hind paws kicked up some dirt when she turned and ran towards Amadeus' Office to return the cloak; and the scroll inside of it; to the closet.
Ayala, there's a scroll inside of the cloak. Set it up on the table in his office. I'll be there shortly to look it over.
"The one that ran off was Ayala. This one to my left, is Hyousetsu, and to my right is Zenjin. They guard the village when I'm not around to do it myself. You're free to explore the village if you'd like to. I only have one warning. Do not go into the Great Tree unless you're accompanied by myself or my companions. There are traps laced throughout there. she concluded, giving a slight nod towards the Great Tree. She wasn't sure how they would take all of this information in, but she was sure that they were eager to begin exploring their new home.

Felix Silverlight CP:35 HP:40 MHP:50 Felix had seemed actually so sure of his decision wile he was actually in Konohagakure, but now that they were hundreds of miles from there, the actual weight of it was starting to press on the young boy. He could feel a cold sweat developing on his forehead as he became extremely nervous. He turned about after coming through the portal and listened to Nakamura, watching as she discarded the cloak. ..Do.. I get one.. of those? The thought was prominent in his head, where would you go about getting a robe like that? Ironically, for how nervous and tense at the situation he was, he was still concerned about appearances. Nakamura stated that she was happy to be out of the cloak, but Felix could not imagine that... He was almost willing to step forward and take hers if she didn't want it... he was sure that if he just cut a few feet off the bottom it would fit him right? Zenjin, Hyousetsu, and Ayala... Felix listened in silence, standing there and watching her introduce her Wolf companions one at a time. He could not help but be scared of each of them as they appeared, except maybe Ayala... he just wanted to pet her and go be somewhere quiet to forget how much trouble he was in right now. His own silver eyes reflecting the curious looks of the creatures. "...A-alright." Felix grew quiet after Nakamura was done speaking... taking note not to explore the tree on his own for now. "...I suppose my first question should be, where can I get a room to stay in?" He asked tentatively. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After Felix had asked about his living quarter situtation, Nakamura couldn't help but wonder who his friend was. She never did get a name, let alone any details other than him wanting to leave the Leaf village. Looking around her as if she too; was intaking the scents of the village; was demonstrating that there was no hustle and bustle of village life.
"The citizens of this village had been evactuated to a safer location. So... you're welcome to stay anywhere you'd like... except for two places. Amadeus' Office and my home within the Underwater Caverns. You're free to explore any location you'd like, even my chambers are not off limits... but... if you do decide to explore the caverns... don't touch anything." she said, her voice becoming distant as she spoke of the caverns. Fond memories lingered there, ones that she didn't want dampened by having anything moved.
"Oh, I almost forgot to mention. If you'd like a tour, Zenjin or Hyousetsu will gladly show you around. If you'd rather explore on your own, that's fine too. Just don't forget my warnings. They're for your own safety." she added just before she turned on her heels. Her ponytail swished to the left as her body turned to face Amadeus' Office. There was a scroll there that wouldn't decipher itself. Zenjin, Hyousetsu, if they choose a tour, leave the Springs for last.
((Nakamura's Exit to Amadeus' Office))
Zenjin remained seated whilst Nakamura hesitantly walked away. It wasn't like her to be distracted, but he wouldn't question her. After all, there wasn't anything she could hide from him for very long. He waited patiently for the boys to decide their next step.
Hyousetsu, on the other hand, was not very patient at all. His red eyes were staring straight at Felix, as if to pierce him with his gaze... as if he knew what he was thinking. Of course, this wasn't possible, but who was to argue with Hyousetsu? His paws scratched at the ground, waiting for his answer.
Hyousetsu! I warned you. They aren't food! On second thought, leave Zenjin there, you're with me.
Hyousetsu let out an audible snort of malice when he heard Nakamura's command. His gaze breaking from Felix as he dissappeared in an explosion of mist.

Felix Silverlight CP:42 HP:48 MHP:66 Felix glanced about curiously at Nakamura's words. It was true... he had actually not seen a single soul here since arrival, and he was about to ask her 'why' all of the villagers had been evacuated, and where they had been evacuated 'to' when she turned about and left... seeming a little distracted. This left Felix with a might bit of a puzzled expression on his face, and a raised finger as if to ask a question... turning to the Wolves once she was gone. Of course, he was not about to go 'anywhere' Hyousetsu staring at him like that... He was pretty sure the Wolf was bigger than he was himself... and Felix would probably only constitute a small snack for the creature, and so he felt that maybe the wolf was weighting the cost versus the benefit of eating him.... probably with less cost than Felix imagined. After that one puffed away in a cloud of mist, Felix turned to the remaining Wolf curiously... shrugging his shoulders. He had absolutely no idea what was going on, and he swore it was not his fault the thing left. "..Zenjin?" Felix bowed politely at the very majestic looking Wolf. "...I suppose it would be best that we settle in somewhere first as a base... so... since there looks to be plenty of abandoned houses... perhaps we could get a modest one of those.. and then go about exploring?" Felix mused out loud to the Wolf. He had absolutely no idea if it understood what he was saying or not... but it seemed intelligent enough to be reading his very mind if it wanted to, so he was not going to question it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Zenjin gave a nod at the mention of his name. At least the boy understood that much. He lifted his rear haunches and took a powerfull step forward. Just in his positioning, Zenjin displayed dominance, and yet, it wasn't forced. The mere aura of him showed the powerful, silent protector that didn't do anything unless he felt his charges were in danger. Taking the lead, Zenjin began to escort the boys about the Village. They had passed by the Henke's abandoned workshop, past the entrance to the Knight Clans' Enclave, and away from the Bath houses. Near the entrance to the Marketplace, beside the Great Tree, laid the housing development.
It was at this time that a grey cloud of smoke erupted around Zenjin for a second before dissappearing, leaving Nakamura's form with Zenjin's white tail and his golden eyes in place. It may have appeared that Zenjin messed up the Transformation technique, but that was not the case. He was simply displaying a form that was comfortable for him, yet familiar. It was the only way he could comminucate to them unless they somehow learned to form a telepathic link with him... and he wasn't about to take the time to teach them.
"This is the housing development." Zenjin's voice came from Nakamura's body in a very low growl. It wasn't like he had anything against them, but wolves were just not meant to speak the human tongue. "Take any building you'd like." he added, his tail swishing from side-to-side in order to keep his balance on two legs. He may have transformed into Nakamura's form, but he was still a wolf... one that didn't practice walking on two legs. While he waited for the boys to explore the housing district, Zenjin sat down upon his haunches... or rather... Nakamura bent down into a low squatting position. Zenjin's tail twitched upon the ground while he waited patiently for them to choose their new homes.

Felix Silverlight CP:42 HP:48 MHP:66 "..W-woah..." Felix's mouth dropped as Zenjin revealed the housing district to him. It was not complicated of course, the boy's sentiments. From rags to riches indeed. Every single one of these houses were 'huge'... and not only that, but they were built in a majestic design in of themselves. Felix had only known two places of living in his very short lifetime... the orphanage, where he had shared a bunk bed in a small room, and the 1st Platoon barracks, which had been a little better, but still, just one room... one very small room. Now he had literally 'mansions' being offered to him... for free? It was almost unbelievable... these were like the houses that the Sannin in Konoha themselves possessed. "...Well... No body's home." Felix listened to his own voice echo a little bit as he approached one of the houses. "...Looks good enough for me..." He walked up the porch steps slowly and entered the house. Travis wandered off as he was prone to do... probably claiming some other abode to reside in. After a few moments, Felix came back out of the house, nodding toward the image of Nakamura.. with a tail... a rather interesting form for the Wolf to take, but not one to question. "...Looks like a very nice village... why did everyone have to evacuate..?" Felix questioned Zenjin, walking after the Wolf as he was lead to various places, viewing the wonders of this village. "...And where did they all go?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When only one of the boys had returned, Zenjin could only guess that the trans-dimensional travelling wiped the other one out. The one before him; must have had a very strong stomache. Using his tail to balance himself, Zenjin in Nakamura's form stood straight up into the air. Once Felix inquired about the Village's past, Zenjin hesitated before answering him.
"After the defeat of the Fire Master, Nakamura decided it would be safer for the village's inhabitants if they didn't stay here. Retaliation from the other Masters was inevitable, but they didn't get their satisfaction here. Only the Lightning Master managed to figure out where she hid them. Back in her... our... home. Yukigakure." Zenjin turned down an alley that lead away from the bath houses. A small path that looked to lead nowhere was the only visible option left unless they went back the way they came. Instead, Zenjin was leading him to the Village's most precious resource. The Silver Spring.
"He wiped out the village. The citizens and what few shinobi the village had, managed to survive with a previous warning from one of the missing members of the Fifth Dawn. When word got to Nakamura, she left to aid them once more. Instead of rebuilding there, she led them away from there, and rebuilt a new village. Aisugakure."
At the end of the path was a silver light that looked as if it were being reflected through water... They had arrived. "She left the Dawn for a year, rebuilding in Aisugakure, while the other members restored this village. Now that the two charged with this village's restoration have gone missing, she hasn't stopped looking for them."
Zenjin concluded, walking towards the water's edge. The same grey smoke cloud exploding out of nowhere and vanishing in an instant, revealing Zenjin's wolven form.

Hiku still had his sword partly drawn as he continued into the entrance part of the village. He looked around and took a mental note of everything. His mind was racing almost as quickly as his pulse did. He called out again. "Hello? Amadeus? You here? It's Hiku." He hoped that that would be good enough not to get killed.

((Entrance from the Silver Spring))
Nakamura appeared near the blacksmith's shop atop the hill over-looking the main section of the village. Her eyes were glued on this person wandering out the abandoned streets. How did he get through the Caverns without them knowing? Unless... he went through the Black Gate? The only way that would be possible... her thoughts quickly stopped rushing through her head when he said the name she's been waiting to hear. Amadeus? Nakamura leapt from the hills. She noticed how he had his hand on the hilt of a blade, and decided to draw a kunai should he attempt an assault. What's more, is that she could only guess that he shouted an introduction.
"How do you know that name?" Nakamura asked, her kunai gripped tightly in her right hand. She was speaking to his back, but talking loud enough so that he would be able to hear her.

Hiku turned his head towards the sound and replied. "I know that name cause of a few years ago. He allowed me to join the Fifth Dawn. He told me that it was here and how to go through the Gate. . . Is he around or...?" He glimpsed something metallic in the persons hand. "Senbon? No to bulky for that. Kunai most likely..." He smiled and sheathed the sword fully. He turned toward the sound and saw a person standing a little ways up. A woman by the figure of the body. He bowed. "My name is Hiku. May I ask what yours may be and where Amadeus is? I would really like to talk to him." Hopefully that would be good enough not to be stabbed.

This was more than a little odd to her, not only did he completely sheathe his blade, but said that Amadeus recruited him years ago. While that would explain how he knew about the Black Gate, she could only speculate that the traps didn't kill him because Amadeus showed him the way through. She stood, perched upon rooftops before gracefully leaping onto the ground. She did not sheath her weapon, keeping the kunai visible.
"My name is Nakamura.... and Amadeus has been missing for two years... but only a Fifth Dawn member would be able to navigate the Black Gate and not be killed by it's traps." she seemed to be thinking out loud at the last part of her statement. If he was indeed, recruited years ago, perhaps it was during the time she was in Aisugakure?
"Tell me, if you truely knew Amadeus... what Master was killed here? Any Fifth Dawn member would be able to answer this... and you'll forgive me for taking precaution. I've never seen you before."
