Axel didn't actually die. In truth, he was liberated to Hawaii, where he now plays beach volleyball with Lilo and Stitch and drinks Margaritas while sunbathing. The only problem he has faced so far was a dreadful experience with sunburns (redheads have very hard times with them), and he recovered with a nice brown tan.
