Chloe finally was able to call out her entire party, as Daimon dove happily into the water, Cael settling alongside her on the dock. Saku decided to hang out under the dock, playing a bit in the waves as she plotted her next trouble. Mikami took to the skies happily with Lantis, as the two soared over the ocean, Lantis pointing out his favorite spots from when he was wild.
Chloe smiled, watching her party for a bit, until she felt a familiar weight on her shoulder. Entreri settled down to watch the cork, not really having anything better to do.

Chloe smiled, as Entreri settled on her shoulder. The two watched the fishing cork in companionable silence. Seemed Entreri had finally gotten used to Chloe, and had even decided to stick around and not make tihngs difficult. For the moment anyway.
Chloe was glad for it either way.
After a bit, Entreri suprisingly dove into the water. Chloe peered over the dock, a bit confused. She didn't even know the Weavile knew how to swim.
Apparently he did, for he returned a short bit later, shaking off water that was slowly freezing to his cold fur. He had something clamped in his mouth, which he offered to Chloe after he had dried off.
"Is that a Full Restore?" Chloe inquired, to which Entreri nodded.

Seemed the Weavile had spotted the bottle floating in the waves.
"Thanks so much!" Chloe grinned, ruffling his fur. Entreri swatted her hand away, smirking softly, as he took up his spot back on Chloe's shoulder.
Cael yawned, before deciding to join Daimon in the water as well. He was careful to keep an eye on the cork as well, knowing quite well that when Chloe hooked a big fish... he was needed.

Chloe didn't have to wait much longer after that before a bite started to nibble on her hook. Chloe concentrated, waiting until the nibble kicked up again, before yanking the rod back, snagging the Pokemon.

"Drat, a Barboach," Chloe sighed, once she got a view of the Pokemon that was dangling from the hook. The mudfish freed itself, flopping on the dock before hopping off, onto the shore below.
Chloe called for Saku, who faced off against the fish.
"Alright, use Dragonbreath!" Chloe called to her partner, who inhaled deeply, before firing off a blast of draconic flames at the Barboach.

The Barboach retaliated with a Mud Bomb, skittering in the wet sand before flipping it up at Saku in defense.

"Keep at it, girl, use another Dragonbreath," Chloe requested once again from Saku, who nodded, doing just that, as she fired off another round of flames at the flopping fish.

The mud fish, although weakened, was far from out of the fight, it fired off a Water Gun at Saku, which didn't really do much except get the dragon wet.

"Alright, finish it off with Bite," Chloe called from the top of the dock, as Saku dove in to finish the fight.

"Great job!" Chloe grinned, as the Barboach flopped back into the water, swimming off, a bit disoriented.
Saku nodded, before returning to the shallow water, wading around a bit as Chloe rebaited her hook, dropping it in the water again.

Chloe watched her cork silently. It had been the first time she had used her Good Rod. Most of the time she just used the Super Rod, since she had been seeking a Relicanth.
She was slowly getting used to the subtle differences int he rods For one, the Super Rod had a much farther cast, which allowed it to get the Pokemon that lived in the deeper water of the ocean. The Good Rod was a bit shorter, but didn't skimp on performance. It was fairly easy to reel in, which Chloe liked.

As Entreri dozed, the rest of Chloe's Pokemon were enjoying the day. Lantis and Mikami were still in the skies overhead, startling a few of the inhabitants of Lilycove when they spotted the Latios overhead. Chloe didn't worry about the dragon, though, as she smiled, watching him vanish into the clouds. Old habits died hard, it seemed. He still didn't like to be out in front of people too much.
Mikami, on the other hand, reveled in the attention, swooping down low along the shore, as a few kids who were at the beach with their parents pointed and stared. Mikami dove into a few loops for show, causing Chloe to giggle. He really was a show off.

As Chloe watched Mikami show off for the kids, she realized that he wouldn't be up to much trouble. Loving the attention too much to spoil it, the Flygon was careful to avoid getting too close, and instead opted to dive into somersaults over the water. A few excited cries from the children, as the grabbed their parents' attention to the attention-hog Flygon, Chloe turned her attention back to the cork, smiling to herself.

The nibble came again, and Chloe was there, yanking the rod as she reeled in the line. Entreri blinked awake at her sudden movements, looking to the line as well.
