Duellist ((I'm very glad you decided not to keep this character... blaugh )) The vampire growled, his face extending into a long and terrifying wolflike look. Huge batwings ripped from his back, and a long dragonlike tail scythed around. Actually, the transformed vampire looked very much like a dragon. Only this one didn't breathe fire. It cast evil spells of death, and had rending sharp teeth. But it didn't breathe fire. ][I knew he wasn't going to stay when I was typing up the intro. He was supposed to be a fun loving teenager, who was dared to stay a night in Jekyll de Hyde by his friends. o.o; However, the drunkness just wasn't my speed. =_=; And happy characters don't come naturally to me.][ Oh, so that was why people sometimes never came out of Jekyll de Hyde, huh? It would take a while for it to register in Kasumi's mind, before it finally hit him! This was potentially dangerous! "Wow.. I've seen scarier things at the circus." Which was true! Clowns, the worst thing known to man kind, but that was beside the point. ..Well, there was the freak show too.. But still!

=+(MusicBox)+= "Oh.. erh.." Oh yeah! He was talking to that strange female. He'd totally forgotten about it, and now he turned and looked at her with a grin. "Kasumi." Kinpoko looks to Duellist and whines and pleads. She didn't want Kasumi to die, not just yet at least! She didn't even get a chance to ask him why humans liked alcohol. Which is something she wanted to find out for a while now."Please don't kill the kid. He's going to help me with something..." She then drags Kasumi into the bar, away from Duellist, to ask him questions. But she didn't know that he probably couldn't anwser them, since he was intoxicated. Even so, she was going to try.

Taryn Edwards The relief Taryn felt was profound. Mimi was taking this incredibly well. "Yes, it was rather bad... I saw you right afterwards... But... Do you feel any better? Knowing I mean...?" She blinked at the explanation of the dream... That was strange, but it semed explainable enough to her... She sent to Duellist. 'I do believe it's safe, love...' Before leaning a bit closer to Mimi. "Can I do anything for you? Get you anything?" She didn't mean to baby the woman, but her lover had tired to eat her, in a not very pleasant way, and she felt mildly responsible, because of Bertram's words. -Mimi nodded faintly, eyes watering a bit. But damned would she be if she cried again. Earlier, in Sirus' arms it had felt right... to just break down. Safe. Out there, in the bar room with Taryn and by herself, it seemed.... wrong... and completely different. In an effort to keep a face straight she looked down at the cocoa, enjoying the soft steam that rose up to her face.- Yes, I do. Not knowing.... it.. -Again, she chewed on her lip, faintly clearing her throat.- Its... its like like being stuck in a room with several doors and only one exit, and when you finally have chosen and open up a door the only thing you see is a wall. So you try again, and again.. and end up finding out that they were all false exits, but then you're not sure if you checked all the doors or not. Does it make sense? -She asked at last, glad that she'd gotten a hold of her emotions so exquisitely.-

He was awaiting Duellist's reply! Kasumi wasn't looking for a fight though.. or was he?

She'd felt that way before, but for completely different reasons. She offered a smile to the woman, one full of understanding. "Yeah, it makes sense... Glad I could help, at least enlighten you..."

Maybe it was Mimi the only one who thought her logic was twisted when in reality it was most rational! But did it really matter? No. Sometimes Mimi felt like she was the only sane person in a room full of crazies and everyone was saying she was insane. At least it felt like that in her pride. And what was the point of being mentally normal if 'Normal' was abnormal amongst her own? Mimi would have to find a way to make Daisuke and Ryoko understand... and perhaps only then would she survive.- I'm glad you do.

Taryn felt a nagging feeling in the back of her mind, and was becoming incredibly restless, though on the outside it would be impossible to see.

((Mwehehehe. As much as I like Reiki, he must die...later. 3nodding ))
*Rei-kun had been out of the hotel for quite some time now. He quietly wandered around the park grounds, bitterly cursing the freezing cold that had come with the night. Rubbing his arms in order to find some warmth, the youth looked around. Where the blasted hell was he? Turning a corner, Reiki saw an ethreal figure hovering over a dead corpse. He chuckled, effectivly alerting the specter of his presence.*
How very pleasant. Reiki wonders what would happen if the master saw you like that?
Quiet mortal! I serve no one!
You can keep telling yourself that. *Reiki took in a breath, ready to say more, but he stopped. The master had made his appearance. Bowing deeply, the kid spoke in a submissive voice.* Master. All has been made ready. What shall you have me do?

Kinpoko gasps in shock and shakes her head. She would never eat a person, or even an animal. She was a vegan, since her culture taught her that it was wrong to eat any kind of animal flesh. Or to even touch dead bodies. But luckally, she wasn't the kind to force this belief onto others."Ahh! Nuu! I don't eat animals!"

All this was done outside of Taryn's earshot and eyesight, of course. Oh, and Mimi's. Actually, outside of most intelligent beings sightrange. Let's say it happened just as Kasumi was leaving the hotel. Anyway, Duellist then walked back into the bar, wiping his lips. "Sorry, where were we?"

"I am really sorry. And I'd like to... anyway I can make it up to you?" - Grow me a back bone firm enough to impress the Pride She muttered inwardly, forcing a bright smile on the outside to don the two vampires with. - Its okay.. accidents happen. - Or at least give me an idea as to trick them into giving them my freedom without tainting the family name.- Just keep in mind that shooting at ghosts is just as useless as trying to kill something that is trully dead. -Again, she offered the two a grin before sipping at the cocoa. Now that she had the time to think it was becoming obvious to Mimi how dangerous her existence was proving to be. Today it was Ryoko and tomorrow it would be Daisuke (Bast forbid!).- Thank you for the offer anyway.
