Terk thought on this for a moment then answered honestly. "I am loyal to those who are loyal to me. I have my friends and I have my enemies. I have my ideas and I live by what I feel is right. Mostly I am loyal to my mate and I promised him I would avenge his death."

Tabe was quiet, but he knew this was going ot be hard for Terk. This story always was. This was the main reason she didn't talk about Sable.

Terk took Josh's hand. "I am not fully sure who killed the dragon, but I do know the one who let the arrow that grazed his shoulder did not make it off the battle field." Terk stopped at the memory of watching her mate die in the arms of their dwarven friend came back. "Spirit Dragon blood is deadly. A single drop can kill. The arrows were dipped in it and he was hit. A glancing blow, but the blood from the arrow mixed with his and he was dead with in minutes. I barely had time to reach him before he was gone."

There was once a friend of mine who loved spirit dragons, he went into a lair of one and he killed the dragon by accident." *josh looked down clenched a fist* "He went insane after killing one, he loved the thrill of it, so he wanted to kill more, and so he did and if he ever found out i was one of them he would kill me. his name was Alexander Bostrom and now he is a professional dragon slayer to this day."

Terk looked at Josh. "No, he might be another one, but the one I am talking about was killed for the use of it's blood. The dragon's killer knew about the power of the blood and used it for the battle."

The gold dragon spoke from his place near the corner.
*If you had been listening, young one, you would know that the arrow only grazed her mate, it did not hit him full on. There was nothing to pull out.*
He had been silent during this whole exchange, but he was just to curious to remain that way.
*Terk, you say this, Spirit Dragon blood, is poisonous? If that is so, then there should be an antidote. If you were going into battle with Spirit Dragon poison a possibility, you should have had some, correct?*
