I knew it... I am destined to not have no credits no wonder I have a flashlierrrr... A lasgun instead og a bolter... Oh well maybe next week...
I recently refurbished a sentinal I got used that was really sad. The only bad part is I grabbed the wrong primer and half of it was glossy before I realised it... Now I have to try and salvage what i screwed up with some really nice painting. Wonder if I can cn someone else to do it...

Seriously dude, I have had to do that several times. I mean, I have done something similar, and just removed the paint. Anyway, that belongs on another thread, does it not? As it stands, any hints you can give me for my IG army? I have not done them before, and I might need some help with them, as they are REALLY WEIRD. The best tip is to read through the codex and the doctrines to be sure how you want your army first! Then you either pick up 40 men includes the 2 officers and a chimera or 55 men includes the three officers. Or if you go doctrinated then it is 25 men includes one officer. It is hard to build a fluffy guard army. They are either full of missles Auto cannons or las cannons. I use 2 missles and a las cannon hvy weapon team then a few special teams flamers and grenade launchers. My guardsmen are pure lasgunmen... May they die as they charge... Also the standard russ is the best tank for ponts in the game...

I love the schwarzenegger look...

I started with one and got two in different trades... one trade I gave one avatar and three swooping hawks for the sentinal and 49 guardsmen...

well almost 50 guards men and a sentinal isnt bad considdering he only gave up 4 units

Relkin9 good luck with your army, if your going to use Catachans make sure you get their codex (I think it's still up to date) they have some pretty cool stuff in there. I just finished painting my HQ for my next Ig army and then realised i hadn't ordered any grav-chutes! stressed

Dunno, I am still rereading the IG codex, as I have had little use for it up till now. crying Anyway, thank you for the good luck, I will need it to do A good one. As it stands, I am unsure that I will do Catachans though, I just have ALOT of their models.

And how good were your Eldar that you gave up? The Avatar had 230 paint hours on it from a pro. The swooping hawkse had seen better days. The guardsmen were sad super sad. Same with the sentinal...
