Well, there is internet, but it is in like some foyer thing, so I have random people walking past me, probably going "What a nerd".... xd Ooooh you're alive! *-* heart which prefecture are you in Japan? surprised heart I was in Iwate (northern Japan) this autumn when I went to visit my friends whee heart We passed by a couple Ski resorts that were said to be popular but there was no snow at the time... *has never skiied before in my life* o.o;;

I'm in Niseko, which is a resort in Hokkaido, about 3 hours from Sapporo. In a few days we are then heading to Rusutsu, which is only about half an hour from Niseko. whee
And yup, I'm having fun. My boots are actually fitted to my feet this time so I don't have the aches and pains in my shins that I had last time (and so I can actually ski properly. razz )
It didn't snow yesterday and was fairly hot, (well, as hot as freezing anyway) so the snow got a bit like slush (which is rare in Japan) today and yesterday afternoon, but then it started snowing this afternoon and hopefully that will continue and we'll have great skiing tomorrow! biggrin

Gin Kadia angelgirl21404 bbrrrr *shivers* Im so cold.... My new house is like that. I'm use to wood heating and now we have natural gas heating and it's so much more colder. its warmer today... supposed to be 60 today! I just walked to the mail box and its soooo nice outside!

LOL. If you skiied on your butt here people probably wouldn't be able to see you in the snow (as it is so high). razz
We had fantabulous skiing today. It snowed and snowed and snowed and snowed. We went back country and it was awesome. (Apart from the huge hike out once the run was finished, but you've gotta have some pain for all that magnificence, right? xd )

I hate the hot. The only time it is good that it is hot is when you are at the beach, otherwise being hot absolutely sucks.
I love the cold. -10 ˚C is great for the snow. xd
