For my band, it would have to be the flutes. The first few chairs are fine but the rest are always way to loud. In our quiet songs they can be really really loud...

i don't dislike any instrument in marching band.
but in concert band, i hate our alto saxophones.
they're really obnoxious and they can never keep up with the tempo.
any way they just go really fast.

chellybear10 RandomStarWarsFreak 2nd trumpets, sorry but they SUCK - in my band atleast. they'll never get to 1st trumpet even if all the 1st trumpets die, or quit band HERE HERE!!!!! heh, i agree with you, and i'm third trumpet. i stink. notes that are even somewhat high baffle me.(first trumpets always annoy me by not counting) but my instructor said that since my main problem is just the high notes, i could try baritone rofl so anyway hated instrument....well i don't really have a hated instrument, but last year in band their was a guy who played french horn who like never emptied out his spit ever. when he played you could hear it like gargling around in there....it was so gross. like insteand of say baaaaaaaah it would be baalallalaaamwalalaaaa

Trumpets. They sound AWESOME when you can hear them! sweatdrop They NEVER come in at the right time! They're always ahead or behind! stressed I LOVE it when they have the fanfairs and you can ACTUALLY hear then! xd

Hmmm...Now this is tough.
I really do enjoy being around most of the people in every section...But I gotta say, the clarinets really tick me off sometimes. I mean...C'mon...texting while you play?
This is band, not summer school. Text in any of your other classes. Nobody cares if you get an F in math. If you get an F in band, the whole band suffers for it.

In my high school band, it was the trumpets, hands down. They weren't that good, even though they thought they were. I'm not a big fan of trumpet players in the first player, because they are usually really cocky.

trombones!!!!
i have one friend from the trombones and hes pretty cool but the rest of them are just plain annoying. the saxes sit in front of them (im a sax) and they always hit our chairs with their slides. then when i say to stop (cause they do it on purpose) theyre like go to hell. and its actually funny because the guy that says it has a huge afro and is admittingly fat. he has the worst comebacks ever and he thinks hes cool...he isnt xD

Trumpets. Hate hate hate. mad They seem to think it's funny to blast (especially in marching band) and they butcher my ear drums. Simply unforgivable. >>
My section (clarinets) is pretty awful too, because they're just so girly and chatty. >__<

piccilo, they are soo high and annoying wen the hold out a note and trumpets cause my bro plays one and he wont admit the the saxes (i play that) are the best section :]

Ohh, it'd be a tie between 2nd/3rd trumpets and 1st trombone. The trumpets suck and never play right and the 1st trombone thinks he's God and will smite the rest of us. >_<
But my section (Percussion! Woohoo!) is pretty annoying sometimes too xp

we don't strictly hate an instrument, we just make more jokes at the expense of certain intruments, generally tubas, trombones and a few percussionists (like my friend conner, the guys who plays the chains)
