Hi there, I'm Pront. I'll be taking up Japanese soon next term in college and I'll need help speaking Japanese. I've heard our prof. in Nihongo is a terror!
I watch some Japanese anime' which helped me pick up a few words, and I've only learned how to form a few basic phrases through self-study. I find Japanese sentence structures a bit easy to understand because they kinda resemble the sentence pattern of Tagalog a bit. XD
I'm in the tourism industry and I plan on working in Japan soon. Heehee. XD

Hello, I'm Zamir. I've been trying to learn Japanese for quite some time now, but have never had the opportunity in school to learn it. I am in the military, but I will still do my best to try and learn here. Thank you for having me! *bows*

Konnichiwa~! Watashi wa no namae wa Kurisetein (Kristyn) desu. Watashi juku sai desu. (I hope that was right sweatdrop ) Hello~! My name is Kristyn and I'm 19 yrs. old.
I've been teaching my self for nearly 4 months and still have quite a bit to learn.
My Back Story: I've always been enchanted by everything from the far-east. As a military brat I got to travel around the world and was given the chance to see the world but no matter where I went it was always about Japan. I've been totally fasinated by the people, culture, and language ever since the first time I flew into Tokyo International Airport. What's not to love~!? The writting is beautiful, the culture so down-to-earth, the people are nice, and Tokyo is the fashion capital of the planet. My friends call me the J-purist because I won't eat Japanese food with western-style utensils (forks and knives), I've always recognized certain kanji and romaji, and now I want to learn to speak, read, and, write the language. They make me sound selfish about it, though, because I learn everything I can. However, its not entirely for my own satisfaction anymore~! My boyfriends' parents are more comfortable with speaking in Japanese. I will be meeting them sometime this year and would like to impress them by knowing enough to at least attempt speaking with them in their respective language. This way I won't feel akward or totally excluded from the conversations and my boyfriend won't have to worry about translating back and forth. Which makes learning Japanese a double benefit for me because I'll be able to interact with the family and with a few years of practice I'll be ready to move to Japan and bring my life long dream to life.
So if anyone would like to help me via email it would be much appreciated~! my email: mexicanrassbury@yahoo.com

Konnichi wa. My name is Senya (japanese translated as Midnight according to a friend of mine.) I have one friend that's japanese, but he NEVER gets out so he's pale as a rock. He speaks fluent english, but if you're not careful to listen he'll pull out japanese on you. I'm in college and high school at the same time. I'm a sophmore high school student and 2nd year college student.

Konnichi wa everyone, I have wanted to learn Japanese for years now but have never gotten the opertunity. I have boughten a couple books (Ten minutes a day Japanese and Hiragana and Katakana writting.) and have a set of cd's that are so confusing I don't know how to work. I love anything oriental and have read so many geisha books. I hope to learn a lot from this guild ^_^.
