Keiko rummaged through her bag, searching for the right herb. "Now where did I...ah! Here it is!" She brought it out and handed it to Tori, smiling. Then she clasped her hands behind her back and waited to see how he'd react to the taste.
((You can come up with the look and taste, I dunno what to make of it. D: But I hope the herb tastes bad. xDD whee ))

Tori looked at the plant curiously. He then sniffed it and it smelled nice.
"Well, here's to no needles," said Tori as he munched on the plant then suddenly his face made an ackward appearance and he started to spit and cough.
"Oh my! Is some thing the matter Tori-san?!" said Botan panicking as Tori fell to the ground and coughing. Choking I mean.. sweatdrop
"Get me some water! This is... horrible!" said Tori as Botan ran around trying to get some water as Yoru and the other female servent panicked right along with her.

Ashira Ashira looked at Oni worriedly, "... Anou.. do you think we're safe for now?" "We should be." Hiei said, nodding. "...They'll probably come back, but not any time soon." Taji used a wall for support as he stood. He had a nasty gash across his stomach and back, the blood seeping into his clothes.

Ashira looked at Taji and frowned, "... We should get a healer for you..." she looked down at Oni, "And get her someplace safe to rest.."

Keiko stifled a giggle and bowed slightly. "I apologize for the taste, Tori-san, but it is good for you. Here." Keiko gave him a canteen she kept with her, just in case. "You can drink this. It's only water, I promise." She smiled brightly. No one ever did like that particular herb. It was amusing to see how they reacted to its, er, unique taste.

Tori hurriedly snatched the canteen and drank as Botan and the servants stopped panicking as they all had cups of water (the three of them).
"Thanks! I needed *cough* that," said Tori as he wiped away the water that dripped from his mouth with his sleeve as he handed back the canteen to Kayko.
"Sorry Tori-san..." said Botan sweat dropping as she saw Yoko trying to stiffle a laugh as she sweat dropped.

Chris and Varan were both laughing hysterically now and had tears forming in their eyes. They leaned on each other for support, their tails waving energetically.
"Major de ja vu!," Varan exclaimed between laughs. "That's just like how you were when you were a pup Chris!"
"I know! You didn't tell me how that stuff tasted either!" Varan laughed even harder and tried to control herself. She failed miserably and almost fell over, having to grip Chris's shoulder to keep her balance.
"Yeah! Only you...you..." she started laughing again and had to fight to continue talking. "You freaked and jumped head first into the pond! Poor Keiko thought she had given you the wrong herb!"

Keiko took the canteen back, smiling widely. "You're welcome. I started carrying water with me ever since this one incident, a long while ago." Keiko laughed when Varan and Chris brought 'that one incident' up. "That was quite the surprise...! I never expected Chris-san to do that, so I started panicking a little, too."

"Ah. That' seems....*pfft*," said Tori as he started to crack up at what Chris did as Botan giggled a little too.
"My, my. I see now. I can see they were very troublesome when they were young," said Botan, her hand up to her mouth stiffling a giggle and her other hand gripping her shoulder firmly.
