Kei smiled slightly. "I am... it's just he specializes in poisons... and if he got a needle to you... which he could eventually since you would attack him close range... I'll just stop talking now... I shouldn't be putting myself in the middle of things..."

Reck noticed how worried Kei was if he and her boyfriend fought so he put his arm around her and shook her a little while giving her a reasuring smile. "Ay ay ay, don't worry about it. As long as he never hurts you then I wont have any reason to ever fight him so chill. Ok sis?"

Kei gave a hesitant smile and nodded. Kisoku would never hurt me... so I know it will be fine now... "Well then... we should look at the menu while we wait for Kisoku... I dont know what he's doing right now... maybe he stopped yto look at something or he's in the bathroom... we should have our order prepared soon... he will know what he wants in an instant."

"Oh, Im not hungry. I already ate. I just wanted to spend some time with you but I'll get some rice for Gomma. What about you?" Reck turned back to the table and waited for either the waitress or Kei's Boyfrind to show up.

Kei ponder3ed for a second. "Probably my usual chicken ramen... it's cheap and tastey... a win/win situation..."

Kisoku had watched Kei and her brother leave, then quickly changed out of his work clothes. Instead of wearing his usual, everyday uniform for the hospital, he instead sported black cargo pants and a form-fitting tee to match. Seeing as his hair was black, this matched well, and it also had his unusual eyes popping out even more.
On his way to the cafe, he was stopped briefly by a nurse. He impatiently answered her questions, then left her standing there wondering what had made him so irritable. It wasn't long after that for him to get there, and he easily spotted Kei and said brother.
He also immediately noticed that Kei didn't have a space available next to her. He began to second guess himself- it seemed like they only wanted to catch up. Who was he to intrude and be a third wheel?
He was mildly surprised to realize that it hurt to be thinking of himself as an outsider looking in. To combat this fact, he shot a venomous (no pun intended) glare at the younger ninja, taking a seat opposite the two tensely.

Reck noticed that Kisoku walked in and made his way to there table so he looked up at him and was about to say something but then he noticed that he was giving him an icy glare like he was burning through his soul. Not wanting to say anything that might cause trouble alreay, Reck just sat there and gave him a glare back.

Kisoku crossed his arm, putting one leg over the other and not breaking his stare. He didn't blink, being very practiced in the art of staring down his opponent. He wasn't the most intimidating of ninja, but he did know when he could push his limits and his will to the edges.

Reck continued to stare at Kisoku with an unwavering determination but all the sudden a gust owind blew by his eye and he blinked. He sat for a couple of seconds then smiled and pointed at Kisoku. "Ay! No fair, the dust got in my eye! Rematch dude, or are you scared to face the best staring contest champ in the village one on one? Admit it!"

Kisoku didn't answer. What sort of person nearly came to blows with a guy and then brushed it off ten seconds later? He couldn't think up an appropriate retort, so instead, he just kept staring without blinking.
((Nothing to work with~....))

Reck tried to be friendly and make a joke out of the situation but Kisoku still sat there looking at him with the same blank stare. Unable to resist anymore he walked around the table and grabbed Kisoku by the collar and got directly into his face. "I don't know what your problem is but you need to chill with that stare. Your just trying to ignore this entire situation without even adressing the problem? ...and speaking of adressing..." He the pulled a blue prop dress from behind his back and put it infront of Kisoku like Kisoku was about to put it on. "...you would look stunning in blue. It complements your eyes. hahahaha!"

When grabbed by the collar, Kisoku stared flatly at the guy. He blinked, slowly, and said, "The problem being...?" He didn't get a chance to have an answer, or say anything more, before he was being mentally dressed with the blue dress directly in front of him.
That didn't help his temper. In retaliation, his hand flew out and a senbon, one of his silver ones, speared the dress. If the obnoxious ninja let go, it'd fly to be pinned on the wall- if not, the force would shred it so that half was on the wall and half was in his hand. Either way, it was no skin off his nose.
Moving around, he took the opportunity offered him- he took Reck's previous seat, now sitting next to Kei. He didn't bother flickering his eyes over to glance and see if he had annoyed or irritated the other; he just sighed, leaned his head back, and caught up Kei's hand in his own as a blatant display of his position in her life.

The young refugee, Kou, stepped into the Curry cafe looking for an open seat in one of the booths. Once he had found one he quietly took a seat and waited for assistance. While waiting he began to listen to all the other conversations going on in the cafe hoping to hear valuable information.

Kei watched the cold war in utter silence. Reck was really trying to be friends... or atleast friendly aquaintences... Just watching them stare put her on edge. Watching Reck get in Kisoku's face just made it worse... and the dress? Where the heck did he get a dress... and why did he have it with him? Well she knew Kisoku wouldn't take that too well, but what surprised her was how he stole Reck's seat right after. Was this whole thing about Reck sitting by her? How childish... She didn't make a comment though. Instead she waved her free hand at the waitress to call her over. She closed the fingers of her other hand around Kisoku's. "Do you know what you want to eat?"

Kisoku nodded, looking over at the waitress. "Some light soup, please, and a bowl of white rice." For some reason, Kisoku's stomach was protesting food- even though he had to eat, he didn't feel up to the task. As such, he skipped over his usual bowl of fried rice, and even over the richer jasmine sort, and went straight for the bland stuff. "And a glass of water, no ice, please."
