Maybe, well. It's not anything you guys can help with, I guess. I mean, there are times when I want to talk about it and times when I don't. It's nothing serious, well, I guess. It is but it's nothing that's happening to me, just something that upset me. A lot.
It's just that, someone I loved and was very close too. A family member. Well, my grandfather. He died and I didn't really get the chance to say goodbye. I saw him two weeks before I left but, it's not the same and it's annoying because I knew it was going to happen but I just never really believed it and then it did and...
and now there's nothing I can do and I should just get over it. At leats that's what I tell myself.

*Hugs.* I'm really sorry for your loss. It know that's really rough.
That's one of those things you don't have to "just get over". My Grandparents passed years ago, and I never got to say 'good-bye' to them personally, but tried my best to make my peace with it at the funerals. I try to honor their memories.
It's still pretty new, and you're still in mourning. I can tell you that it does get better. Just needs time.

Unfortunetly, I couldn't attend his funeral.
I was over in Spain. I really wanted to go. But it cost to much and I didn't have any money so I couldn't go. I missed it.
Now if I want to see him, well, I can't, not really...
I wanted to go. My sister said it was nice. She said the coffin was up the front and decorated in all the Australian flowers, and covered in the Australian flag, with his army hat at the top. She said they also played a song that he loved. It was an Aussie song that suited him so well.
God I miss him.

I'm sorry for your lost. Both of my grandfathers died when I was little. at least you still have your memories of him.

If you haven't already, pay a visit to where he was laid to rest. Talk it out there. It's not ideal mind you, but it may help. I'm sure he knew how much he meant to you.

I'm really sorry for your loss. *Hugz* My real dad passed away when I was only 5 years old. And I hadn't seen him since I was a year old. Problems between mom and him. And just like you, I had missed his funeral. We had arrived to late. We lived quite a far away from where he had been. But I agree with Jaeger. It just takes time, you'll miss him, but things'll be alright. Time always heals wounds. *Hugglez* I'm listening to a song right now. I hope it makes you feel better. It has that good energy to it. I would but I can't.
I'm in Boston and he's burried in Australia, so unless somehow I mange to earn a lot of money before school starts over here, I can't see his grave until next year.
I can't even see my brother and sister until then.
