He notices the expression on Shey's face and can't help himself but smile as he hears Rellick's words. "Thank you very much sir. Indeed, we shall be allies." Scribble nods his head and gives the King a friendly smile, looking to his mate with compassion.
((Whoot! Page dedicated to Rellick for letting Shey join Scribble in the making of their new Pride ^.^ And to Scribble and Shey's new found compainionship))

Rellick smiled and nuzzled Shey. "Farewell.. May you have a happy life... " He stepped back slightly and eyed Scribble, nodding. "Allies." He echoed. "Best wishes..."
Dashira gave a slight stretch and then settled at her friend's side, wrapping her tail about her. She gave a slight toss of her head, then considered mouse and cub. "I am called Dashira, Princess of Cyan Serenity.. Shaman and Traveler..."

"You're a Shaman?" Jax repeated, his eyes widening in wonder.
"S'not polite to stare, young master, ho no!" Rion cut in mischievously. "Sorry about the young rip, Princess, see he don't got no manners!" He added, hopping aside as Jax took a swipe at him with a paw.
"You too, Rellick. May Scarlet Shadows blossom and may the King live long." Shey said with a smile, returning his nuzzle. "But before I go, I need to say goodbye to Brooke."
Brooke stared over at the border, where the tan lion who had become like a sister to her (if not really her sister), Rellick, and a big teal lion stood. "Something's going on..." She murmured.

"Thank you Rellick, best wishes to you and your Pride as well. May the stars be with you." Scribble watched Shey as she spoke and wondered who Brooke may be. "I shall wait here if you wish to say goodbye." He smiled at her.

"Eh, I won't be long." Shey said with a grin. She turned, breaking into a run toward where she could see the blue form in the distance.
"Brooke!" She called out as she got near. She stopped in front of the blue lioness, feeling her eyes p***k with tears. "I... I'm leaving."
"You're what?" Brooke stood and stared at her, wide-eyed. She had never imagined that Shey would ever leave Scarlet Shadows. But then, Shey was so adventurous that she was bound to go off looking for adventure anyway. "I can't believe you're leaving! Why are you?" Now she knew how Elli, Jade, Brazen, and Rackna had felt when Rellick had told them he was leaving.
"Yea, I can't believe it either, Brooke. But I found the love of my life, so now I'm acting on it." She grinned. "I'm starting a pride with him." She added, after a second, tearwashed eyes shining.
"Wow! Well, let me know how it goes, Shey. I'll come visit you." Brooke said, pushing a smile as she nuzzled the lioness she had grown so close to. Once again, it felt like everything was crashing down. But she'd grown now. She could handle it.
"Thanks, Brooke." Shey turned, looking back over her shoulder at where Scribble and Rellick were. "I'd better be going."
She turned and ran. She didn't want to look back at Brooke, or Jax. She hadn't even gotten up the courage to say more goodbyes. As she neared Rellick, she smiled again. "Thanks again, Rellick. And... uh... I hope you and Brooke work out whatever got between you guys. I know for a fact that you guys were real close. It'd be a shame to see friendship like that gone down a drain cause one of you said something foolish."
Shey joined up with Scribble, nosing at his muzzle. "And now, I think it'd be a good time to leave." She held back her tears. She hated crying in front of other lions.

Scribble nodded his head as she turned, watching her take off to say her farewell to Brooke, who he figured, must have been a best friend. He watches the two lionesses in the distance and after a few moments, it seemed that the light brown color he was looking at, was coming closer. He smiled as her features came into sight, returning her affection with a nuzzle and npdding as she speaks. "Alright, lets head off then." He stood up facing the direction of the lands, in search for his own now. Before taking step he turned his head to look back at Rellick. "Allies" Scribble smiled and started taking step, ready to start his journey, his new life with his new found love. He couldn't wait to get home.

Rellick nodded to the new King. "Allies... Take care of her... She's a good lioness." With a last smile he turned away, striding back across his lands towards the Den and the rest of his Pride. He was in no hurry, contemplating the loss of Shey, and thinking of his own growing family. The knowledge that Dashira seemed to appear just in time also struck him, and he rolled the thought around a bit.
Dashira smiled and laughed at cub and mouse. "Yes.. I am a Shaman... Choosen when I was a cub by one of my Guides, and watched and taught since I can remember by them both... Have you found your calling yet, Little Cub?" She glanced at the mouse and gave a slight bow of her head. "Thank you, but it is alright.. He's just enthusiastic, and young... Well met Sir -?"

Jax shook his head. "What's a calling?" He asked, looking perplexed.
"Ah, well..." Rion shuffled his paws awkwardly. "I don't think I fit the bill t'be called 'sir', but my names Rion, miss."
Brooke stared after the two lions as they left Rellick's pridelands, a soft smile haunting her muzzle. They'd have good luck, she was sure. And life, at least, would be good for them, and for now, that was all that mattered.

"She'll be fine..." Areli said softly, now standing next to Brooke, her eyes wandering over to Jax for a moment, then around for Cade. "Now... if our King thinks its a good idea-- Shall we go on our hunt? I know some cubs that are probably pretty hungry right now." she said with a light grin, golden eyes gleaming.

Brooke smiled at her friend's words. "I'm sure she will be..." She said softly, watching the two shadowed figures receeding, and then finally disappearing into the horizon. She looked over at the orange lioness. "I think a hunt would be a good idea."
"What'm I supposed to do in a hunt?" Cade piped up from his spot near Areli, as hidden from Jax's view as possible.

Dashira smiled. "It is.. A feeling.. Something that tells you what you should do in life.. Be a King, or a Warrior, Scout or Shaman.. These are callings.. Things the Spirits have decided you are meant to do.. I am a Shaman, Rellick a King... And for now, Jade is a wanderer."
The Princess bowed her head to her dear friend and nodded in agreement. For now she was a Wanderer, and a Princess, but whatever she became was between her and the Spirits.
"What are you going to do?" Dashira prodded. "Do you know yet?" She glanced at the mouse and smiled. "Sir Rion.. It is a pleasure to meet you..."
Arriving back at the Den, Rellick gave a stretch and moved toward Areli, greeting her with a rub of his cheek. "What are you planning, Lady FirePalm? Mischief?" He teased.

"Possibly--" she snickered, nosing him back softly. "No-- Not today. Just a little hunt.. Have to be careful with a cub around." she said, looking down at Cade, pawing him softly. She knelt down by Cade, nosing his back between his shoulder blades. "Well first you have to be careful..." she teased. "Second, you have to find the Gazelle-- then wait for a good Chance, before you strike." she said with a grin, finaly raising her head to smile at Rellick again, glancing next to her at Brooke. "I think we'll be fine with just the two--- Three of us for now, don't you think?" she asked, glancing down at her second little adoptive son, not raising her gaze from the cub yet.

Synda nodded watching the king bound away with some others. Walking slowly over to the rabbit, the cub poked it with her paw a couple of times. Nodding, she went over to the thigh and sunk her tiny teeth into the meat. For a moment, all she got was hair. Synda was about to give in when her tongue suddenly tasted flesh. Squealing with glee she dug in, her teeth searing the meat. At once, she felt better and her stomach quieted it's roars of need. Her tail waved happily behind her as she munched away.

"Ah, we'll all be fine." Brooke nodded.
"Oh. What if there's no good chance?" He asked, feeling miffed. A good chance.
"Pleasure, miss." He said, blushing under his scarlet fur. Perhaps it was good to be red. He could blush all he want and nobody would know.
Jax listened carefully. "Oh, well, I guess I might be young still." He said. "I've never had any feelings about that stuff."

Dashia smiled at the mouse, and nodded her head in a slight bow. Turning her attention to the cub, her smile turned from amusement to understanding. She gave a gentle nod in agreement. "Yes, you are still quite young.. And I'm sure when you find your Calling, you will know it..."
Rellick laughed softly at Areli and nosed her, eyeing the cub. "There will always be a good chance, lad.. You just have to watch carefully for it.. " He glanced at Areli again. "I would think you would be fine.. Though Dashira and Jade are both here if you want more Huntresses... They are both very skilled."
