I attended a professional drama performance. I saw The Lion King musical and really enjoyed it. The last play I read was A Doll’s House, which I found interesting. I haven’t experienced opera or ballet. I’ve watched a movie adapted into a musical, but I preferred the movie Beetlejuice.

I have never attended a professional drama performance. The last play I read was Medea. I did enjoy it actually. I have been trying to get back into reading and that play was interesting. It kept me on my toes and I wanted to know what was going to happen in the end. I have never seen a musical drama. I have seen a musical drama. I watched Hamilton, not in person though. I did enjoy it, however, I have not found another musical that has caught my attention. I do not know much about opera or ballet. I have never really been interested in them. I have watched the Medea film, and I enjoyed it. I think I enjoy reading more for drama. I think since I find the genre interesting, I am not constantly getting distracted while reading.

1) The only type of performance I have been to was a play which was about "Romeo and Juliet" in my high school.
2) The last play I read was "Hamlet". I saw it a while ago, yet still recall relishing the moment.
3) I have never seen musical dramas, however my brother saw a few in the early 2000s.
4) I have never seen an opera, but I feel like I would enjoy the talent within the specific field, and for ballet, I would be satisfied just by admiring the performers who dance on the stage.
5) I saw "Romeo and Juliet" in school and it was pretty good since they made the movie years ago. However, we noticed slight differences in the movie as compared to the film.

NaomiFields I don't have any experience with opera or ballet but growing up it has always seemed boring to me. I couldn’t understand why people found opera or ballet but especially opera to be entertaining. However now that I’m older I have more of a curiosity about it and I would really like to try going to a show at least once just for the experience. Word Count: 65 I mean as a kid I was never interested in ballet or opera, but as I grew up I didn't admire the actual art of ballet or opera, but more of the talent required by an individual to achieve such success within a field of art. But to be honest, many people don't actually understand this art or the context of it, however they go to these performances since its seen as a form of appreciation towards the hard work and dedication of the performers; others just go for the feeling of luxury. Word Count: 140 I don't know if it counts, but I recall watching some "High School Musical". To be fair it is a musical, but it was so boring to me; I guess I'm just not a fan of musicals. I also struggle with finding a good story or play to read, but I think that if I get to the middle of the plot, I will always be hooked on to the book. Yet I am never able to read all the way through. Same with me, I'm always attached to tension with the books, especially if it has to do with the people in the book, not just the story line. WC-69 I also really liked 12 angry men, I watched it with my brother. I think it really emphasizes the power and faults of the jury, since they were gonna kill a man for not the correct reason. It really relates to the legal system today if we look at it from a different angle. I recommend you see ballet since it doesn't make me lose focus on the performance. Opera sounds cool, but if I'm being honest I eventually get bored. I'm not really a fan of musicals, but I'll try to get use to them. Words 96

The last play I read would be Macbeth in High School by William Shakespeare. I dislike reading plays due to my dislike for reading, but I quite enjoyed the play and the distinct language used throughout the text.
