We are closely watching the weather. At first Charley was suppose to be a direct hit, now it is suppose to be 70 miles off our coast and hit aobut 40 miles north of us. All the barrier islands have been evactuated. So have all the coastal areas. They are expecting the power to go out sometime mid day tomorrow. We are suppose to have extensive flooding, 8 to 16 inches of rain, a swell of water that is suppose to be 10 to 13 feet high. Winds are suppose ot be 40 to 110 miles an hour. We are also under tornado warnings... and are also expecting good size hail. They are now predicting that the south side of where it hits will get it the worst. We will try to keep you up to date.

Heh, I never was one for chivalry. I'm wary of anyone who acts like a "gentleman." I hope what ever skirmish there was gets settled, settling things in public is never fun. Especially online.
Man, isn't Bonnie supposed to pop up too? I hate it when it constantly rains and floods. Never a good thing, I'm hoping for the best for everyone in the path!

Finally! I got Gaia to work AND my power is on! I got to update my quest thread too! Yay!
Charlie wasn't all that bad up here. We just lost a few small trees and got a bit of rain. Debris all over our driveway and yard, too.
As for Nehru, he is being very mean right now. And, according to Rain, not that impressive. He did IM me earlier...but I was away.

We have some family in Florida, and my cousin Alan, a tree fell onto his roof..so they are having problems at the moment. They were prepared, it didn't really seem like a big shock to them, this hurricaine didn't really hurt their house but it did hurt their cars, but some of their house has been destoryed.
So this hurricaine most likely sucked for many people, and this summer I bet.....does anyone know if the airports in FL have been closed? and the flights delayed?
