Kor took the "earpiece" and inserted it into his ear.

Kor: "I also am capable of using Namekian Healing, Magic Materialism, Namekian Regeneration, and I just recently learned the Alchemy of this world. My non-battle skills include a talent for chess and I guess I could tell if a food contains any poison via tasting it since I am a food enthusiast and can tell if something doesn't taste how it should. Oh and I also have a sufficient supply of Senzu Beans, which come in use if anyone needs to be restore their energy and stamina in battle. Oh and aboard my spaceship, I have a crew of Tsufuls that can lend their knowledge of various sciences and strategic planning to your own. As you must be aware, Tsufuls are known for having extremely high IQs and being very intelligent beings. Some even say they are the smartest race in all the Multiverse."

DLS listened to the dressing down Haruka gave to her. It took everything in her power not to blast the overconfident b***h with a fireball. It might hurt some others, and do damage to the command center, otherwise, this little encounter would already be history.

Rather than cause a scene, the dragon demon queen simply closed her eyes and tuned her out. Then, she did the only thing that could possibly calm her down. She opened a communication with her Father. He confirmed she was not family, that was obvious from the start, but that she was indeed a familial ally and a strong warrior. He seemed to understand his daughter's concerns about Haruka, but asked that she give her a chance to prove her worth. He did agree that it might be prudent not to let her know everything that DLS and the dragons were doing. Once she was satisfied with their conversation, the communication ended and DLS opened her eyes.

Haruka was asking for more specific information about each one's abilities and the number of troops that were present. THAT was not going to be divulged until it was absolutely necessary for said troops to be called upon.

As Aegil approached, she bristled just a little. Why that lousy b***h asked Aegil to speak to her like some little child that was mentally retarded. THAT was another thing that irked the dragon queen.

When Aegil asked "Tell me, DLS, What is it about her you dislike? Distrust? That makes you assume she is unfit to lead? I can, and she can, only assume you believe such from your word choice, and as the one who summoned her here, it falls to me to help rest these problems." it was like he was talking to a lackey.

"Well, dear brother. I will not be belittled by her in anyway, especially in front of MY warriors. And she did just that by 'asking' you to have a private talk with me. As for what I dislike, there are many things. If you thought I was an arrogant b***h, well, she has that covered in spades. I will not divulge the total number of dragons that currently are on this planet as they are doing covert assignments by mingling with the natives.” She took a breath before continuing. “As you may have surmised, I have been in contact with the Father about this whole situation. He advised a few details to me about her, and he has agreed that I don't really need to tell her everything about the dragons. If you want her leading this expedition, fine, but I would prefer not to have to deal with her directly unless it is crucial to a specific plan. And she will not tell me what form my body will take, dragon or humanoid. There will be times that it may be necessary for me to transform, and I will do so only when absolutely necessary. She comes here with a vast amount of war experience, but she is not well versed in how to treat others who have many or even more of her capabilities. For the sake of the ultimate mission, I will be a good soldier, but I am to be treated with more respect.”

Then she heard Haruka asking about non-combat abilities, medical, anything. She decided to chime in on that one. “Haruka, you ask about non-combat skills. First of all, daughter, son and I are all versed in alchemy. We also have the ability to heal wounds on ourselves, and on each other. We can grow back limbs that have been removed from our bodies, but need to change to dragon form to do so. We have never attempted to heal any other species. And as dragons, in our natural form, we fly- quite silently-, can hide in clouds, have excellent eyesight and hearing. We can maneuver through air, water and earth with ease. As for basket weaving (sic) we are telekinetic. We can create objects from anything in the universe. So, in that regard, we are excellent basket weavers. That last remark was meant as a jab to Haruka's imbecilic simile.

"One more thing, I solely have the ability to create null zones, teleport in and out and then -at my choosing- implode them. It comes in quite handy when we are dealing with enemies that appear to be superior or have the upper hand in certain situations." Thinking to herself, and making sure that it was closed to anyone's telepathy, and that includes you.

Suzareigna had said all she intended to say. When she saw her mother tune out Haruka, she smiled. Oh, her mother was so coy sometimes, and manipulative. She tried to get a message to her mother but got a telepathic busy signal. That only happened when her mother was communing, but since her two twin heirs were here, the only one she could be communing with would be... Father. Oh boy, she was either giving their Father an earful, or was getting one.

When her mother finally opened her eyes, the two had momentary telepathic communication. The message was clear, cooperate until ordered to do otherwise. Okay, that was simple enough. But cooperation didn't mean giving up all the trade secrets.

As Aegil approached her mother, the spines on her back, under her armor, bristled. The warrior princess half listened to the newcomer general spouting demands for information and the other half to her mother and older Fate brother. Once that session was over, Suzareigna's spines relaxed and she stood up straight and readjusted her armor. It was quite obvious that Father's definition of play nicely and mother's had a slight distance between them. However, when Father said play nice, they had to play nice- for now.

Suzi scanned the room. The dragons present had smirks on their faces after their queen's reproach to Haruka, Of course, only a dragon would recognize a fully transformed dragon's smirk. It warmed her heart to know that they only had one leader, and it wasn't Haruka.

The Suzi glanced at Sedhor who surprisingly remained silent during this entire ordeal. It would seem intrusive to probe his mind for his thoughts, but what she was sensing was Sedhor's reaction to Haruka even being in the same room. Was she wrong or did Sedhor have a thing for Haruka? That would make for some interesting complications if he did.

Just then she realized she hadn't checked on Amalia or their automaton friend. She slipped from the room and went to their room. The dragon guards at the door said they had checked on them just recently, and there didn't seem to be any reaction to the newcomer's presence. Still Suzi wasn't so sure, so she entered the room. Leon was sitting in his usual position seemingly recharging himself. At least that's what he was doing since he didn't sleep. Amalia was laying there, quite still but fully awake.

"Amalia, is something troubling you? I am certain that you know another ally has been sent for. Is there something you wish to tell me about her?" Then Suzi looked at the expression on Amalia's face. "Novus is that you?"

On the other side of the planet, Draco was enjoying the peace and quiet that was not being heard from the command center. Unless specifically asked by Harbinger for a report, or contacted directly by his mother or sister, the dragon prince warrior kept his mind out of that foray. The vibes he was getting from family involved in the command center dealings were disquieting, so he did his best to tune them out.

When he did venture to peek into the situation, it was just as his mother and Aegil started chatting. Only he was getting concern from his brother Fate and supremely controlled anger from his mother. He caught that his mother had communed with the Father, and that's all he needed to hear. Whatever Father said, they would do.

Harbinger was somewhat reserved, and that comment about not getting to know this Lady puzzled him. "So, Harbinger, tell me more about this Lady that had taken over our mission. What is so special about her as a warrior, and what are your past experiences with her? I surmised from your comment that you know the Lady quite well. So, do tell."

Hakura smiled politely, the same sort of smile one might give a member of a committee they might hold some level of distaste towards, though lacking in ill will. Perhaps her choice of phrasing was, for lack of a better word, quite silly to imagine, but it was no less true. Yet that hardly gave leeway to further intensify one's rudeness. She may not have been the most graceful, but unlike this woman she at least hadn't intended to be rude. The high road was quite difficult to ride, though perhaps she could manage something betwixt that, and stooping to her level.

Kill them with kindness.
"Lovely, that doesn't exactly give us much in the way of military, but that's all for the best. This wouldn't be the first multiverse I've restored with only a handful of fighters. Now then, we've identified the cause, we've a list of resources available at the immediate moment, and we've objectives." She wandered over to Aegil and spoke with him quickly in a dead tongue, one no one in that room could understand. And that meant no one. But of course, nothing new would've been learned, as Hakura merely offered her opinions on the situation, and recieved the exact nature of both missions that were yet to be completed.

Satisfied, she pulled a small mask and tied it up in her hair, nodding. For each objective given to someone outside that room, she activated her link pearl, making her voice perfectly, crystal clear.
"I am assuming direct control. Aegil, Kor, and.. DLS you called her? You three will continue the mission to the Elrics. Authorization granted to open a tear, Aegil. All due haste."

"Harbinger and.. Draco yes? The two of you will continue your mission posthaste, before the situation escalates any further. Aegil will construct Harbinger's doorway in case we require his forces. What remaining units we have will continue preparations to march to war. And that's not just sitting around building war machines either, I want the rest of you to fan out among the neighboring countrysides and gather what allies we can in the populace. I doubt the sphere of enemy influence can penetrate that far without obscene energy consumption, so we're likely to find more than a few helpful hands."

Aegil: The Magician, Number I

Aegil sighed, shaking his head. Before he moved to speak to Hakura, he sent one observation to DLS directly. "Sister dearest, you are the only one belittling anyone here. Most of all yourself, it's unseemly how you act." The conversation was short with Hakura, and again it was encrypted in dead languages that superseded life and most, if not all, multiverses wherein DLS or any within the room had resided.

The advantages of being old, few but very useful. The moment he was given his order, Aegil nodded and went to work. The 'doorway' was a massive portal tear, and whilst he could easily find the perfect place to put it above world, where none would see it, he was more concerned with this first task. Once completed, he could easily construct the gateway.

Thousands of calculations a second, he slowly reached out, touching a single atom within the air, activating it, and slowly pulling downwards. A visible tear in space-time appeared, as he stepped away slowly. "We have about two minutes before this portal will no longer function, I suggest Kor take the first step through."

User Image

Amalia: The Fool, Number 0 / Novus: The World, Number XXI

Amalia sitting upright, looking at the doorway quietly. As Suzi entered, the smile widened, and Amalia slowly climbed out of bed, stretching. From the way it was slow, and deliberate, the question seemed, foolish. The adult voice that came from the small frame confirmed any suspicion. "Of course it is. I know my dear friend's signature well enough to awaken for her. Things must be growing quite serious if Aegil's called her in." Straightening her nightgown, Novus walked around the small room in the cave.

"Would you mind making sure that any sources of heat are turned down, I wouldn't want our guest to grow to warm and uncomfortable down here, would we?"

User Image

Sedhor: The Wheel of Fortune, Number X

Sedhor hummed quietly, well and aware that he hadn't been given a task. Though rather than upset at being forgotten, he only smiled lightly, patting Hakura on the back as he walked past. He recognized what she did for the man, and appriciated it greatly. So he found a random dragon, and all but forced it to sit down with him and play a game of cards. He was doing his job of course, filling in the gaps Hakura left behind.

For now, that was to play cards.

User Image

Harbinger: The Emperor, Number IV

Harbinger almost burst out laughing, uncharacteristically. What made her special, he wiped his eye as if brushing a tear away from laughter, before speaking. "What makes Hakura so special... well... that's very simple young Prince. She's old. Older than anyone has any right to be. Older than your mother, and older than all present, save the Fates. We alone out age her, for we alone were created at the inception of existence. But even then, she has met many multiverses, many creators. She is old, and she does not adhere to time as well as you or I. Time itself is meaningless to her."

"But that isn't it. No, as a warrior she is compassionate. She holds life in great regard, and when possible will end conflict without a drop of blood spilled. Violence is not an answer to her, it is only a result. She is Kaguyahime, after all, it would be improper for her to be so quick to violence."
He sat back, receiving the transmission from Hakura, and nodding. Even so, he continued. "But what you want to know is how strong she truly is, isn't that so? Well... In a contest of skill, pure, absolute skill, without cheap tricks, or relying on magic." He smiled wide in memory and sighed contently. "Well, Novus has only lost to three beings in the multiverse. And two of them share a surname."

DLS showed absolutely no reaction to her older brother's rebuke to her. Yes, she knew she was arrogant, sometimes rude and some considered obnoxious, but she earned that right. The same right that Hakura now had based on experience and knowledge.

After getting her assignment, she waited for Aegil to open a gateway. Of course, her way of getting them there would have been quicker, but she wasn't incharge of the mission. So like a dutiful soldier, she prepared to leave.

Hakura mentioning getting recruits from these naïve citizens seemed futile before it began, so DLS did the only thing she could.

"Hakura, a word before we go. I have dragons already mixed in with the pacifist citizens. They are not prepared in any way to fight, as I have had reported to me.
If you really want the army at your disposal right now, ones that have already knowledge of this land, etc'; then I will tell you. There are thirty thousand dragons scattered on this planet. Some already insinuated among the populous, but most in a second base on the other side of the planet. When you are ready to actually use them, please let me know and I will authorize them to activate. They will not take a direct order from anyone other than myself or Suzareigna. But they are ready and willing to do whatever the general wants them to do."

She then turned her back on Hakura and walked over toward Aegil. Before he opened the gateway, she whispered so only he could hear her, "I am not belittling myself in anyway. I say what I think and have no regrets. As Father requested, I will play nice, until it's not time to play nice."

Kor entered the tear that Aegil had opened up and all of a sudden he was standing just a few feet in front of a car that was moving rather quickly. With just a hand he stopped it and almost instantly the occupants inside had exited and drawn their weapons. Kor threw his hands in the air to show them he had no intention of causing any trouble and addressed the one known as Brigadier General Armstrong directly.

Kor: "Brigadier General Armstrong, I apologize for interrupting your mission to retrieve the Elrics for Fuhrer Mustang, but I have come with some bad news and to offer my assistance in both your mission and what is to come next."

One of the nearby officers followed standard procedure and approached Kor with a pair of handcuffs and Kor allowed them to cuff him. It would be helpful in reassuring them that he was no threat to them and would allow things to proceed more smoothly. Anyways it wasn't like the handcuffs could really keep him restrained since he could easily break free from them if he needed to do so.

Armstrong: "How do you know about my mission and how did you just appear out of thin air like that?"

Kor: "Well I had intended to tell you about this after I told you the bad news, but if you wish to know now then that is fine too. My name is Kor Saiyajinkami and I am not of this world or even of this Universe. I had come here with hopes of training in your ways of Alchemy, but unfortunately that has had to take the back burner as I have discovered a threat to this world and to the greater Multiverse that must be stopped.

"As for how I know about your mission, well that ties into the bad news I've come to give you. You see the ones you know as the Homunculi have returned to life and the one formerly known as Fuhrer King Bradley has by means of mass hypnosis from another offworld enemy retaken his command as Fuhrer King Bradley. Fortunately this hypnosis only extends to Central Command as of yet and that is why I have appeared before you to aid you in your mission to retrieve the Elrics safely and to enlist all of you to help defeat the Homunculi once again."

Brigadier General Armstrong and his soldiers were shocked by what they had just heard, which at least seemed to tell Kor that they believed him.

Armstrong: "Uncuff him soldier. After all that has gone on recently, it does seem that his words are true and that the Homunculi have returned. It also appears that he isn't of this world. After all he did appear out of thin air and even the Homunculi couldn't do such a thing."

Kor broke free of the handcuffs on his own and approached Brigadier General Armstrong. He made it clear he wished to have a private word with the General and the two moved out of earshot of the soldiers.

Kor: "I didn't want to say this in front of your men, but among the brainwashed is Fuhrer Mustang and Riza Hawkeye. They both seem to think the insurrection of the Homunculi never happened and also think they are of their former ranks. I figure it best to not let them be aware of this as of yet to avoid lowering their morale."

Armstrong: "How dare they do that to the Fuhrer? They will taste the wrath of Armstrong Alchemy that has been passed through the Armstrong Family for generations."

As Armstrong spoke he posed his signature flexing with his shirt removed.

Brigadier General Armstrong was sitting in the back of the car heading towards the Elrics in Resembool when all of a sudden a man with spiky black hair appeared out of thin air and stopped the vehicle. Suspecting this might be an enemy ambush they all quickly got out of the vehicle with their weapons raised towards the mysterious person.

???: "General Armstrong, I apologize for interrupting your mission to retrieve the Elrics for Fuhrer Mustang, but I have come with some bad news and to offer my assistance in both your mission and what is to come next."

One of the soldiers followed standard procedure and approached spiky haired person with a pair of handcuffs and handcuffed him. It all went down without a problem as the man had already raised his hands in the air and allowed himself to be handcuffed.

Brigadier General Armstrong couldn't help, but think back to when the Homunculi had attacked. Though unlike that time, he didn't get the impression that this person was an enemy.

Brigadier General Alex Armstrong: "How do you know about my mission and how did you just appear out of thin air like that?"

???: "Well I had intended to tell you about this after I told you the bad news, but if you wish to know now then that is fine too. Brigadier General Armstrong and his soldiers were shocked by what they had just heard. They had known that something was very wrong due to the recent events that had caused them to be sent out on this mission to repatriate the Fullmetal Alchemist and receive his help and help from his brother Alphonse Elric. They just hadn't known it was this bad.

Brigadier General Alex Armstrong: "Uncuff him soldier. After all that has gone on recently, it does seem that his words are true and that the Homunculi have returned. It also appears that he isn't of this world. After all he did appear out of thin air and even the Homunculi couldn't do such a thing."

The two then returned to his troops. He hadn't noticed while they were talking, but it seemed that two others had also appeared out of thin air along with Kor.

Brigadier General Alex Armstrong: "Kor, I assume these two are your allies. Well anyways we should make haste to retrieve the Elrics especially after all you have told us. You three may accompany me. I would like to know more about what has happened and would appreciate it if you filled me in."

They all entered the vehicles they left except for the ones except 3 of the soldiers from his car entered another vehicle to make room for the three newcomers to join him.

Draco listened as his earpiece hummed a little When the humming stopped, he could clearly hear Hakura. He listened but said nothing. His orders were quite clear, continue with their mission. As such, he turned to Harbinger and said, "Seems we are again on our own. What is your pleasure?"

Suzi had enough experience from the last time Novus was awakened to know that she had her priorities. She turned to face a guard by the door. "Our guests require cooler temperatures. Please see to it that the temperature is no more that 64 degrees F."

Suzareigna wasn't at all surprised when Novus responded to her. As she arose, the princess asked, "Tell me sister, what do you make of this current situation and the Lady Byyako? I find her intriguing and capable. But you know her and her abilities. Are we going to be lead ably or lead into more danger by her?"

Once asked, the immediate response was "Would you mind making sure that any sources of heat are turned down..."

Hakura recognized the, somewhat begrudging, acceptance of her position, and nodded her head thankfully to DLS on her way out. With that handled, she moved to a seat created by Aegil before he, too, left the world. A throne, almost, made of silver and with crimson cushions. She sat down to think, pouring herself a glass of, well, some alcoholic beverage included with the seat.

Naturally it had a particularly familiar scent if one was close enough to smell it. Blood. Her own blood, or very similar, in fact. She took a small drink, before turning her head to one of the nearby dragon demons.
"Would you be so kind as to set up an information relay from the others to myself? It would be poor taste if I were to make a decision without being aware of everything available, information wise that is." A simple order, worded as a polite request. There was little doubt in anyone's mind it was anything less than an order, however there was a certain amount of amusement and respect in wording it as she did. Well, perhaps not respect, but kindness, no doubt. "And please attempt to locate any pockets of soldiers outside the main capital that might not yet be influenced. Ensure they are unable to return, and we will have ourselves a merry little band of resources with credentials the enemy cannot counter. Every bit of resources is something we cannot overlook."

Aegil: The Magician, Number I

Aegil set Hakura's chair and drink to be brought into existence, before stepping through the portal himself. Just in time to observe the shirtless Armstrong's pose. The Fate shook his head and began to fiddle with his strange clawed left hand, as if recalculating something. "It may be prudent to send who you can spare to alert others to not return to your capital. It is uncertain how close one must be to the ex fuhrer homonculus to be affected by the mind-clouding effects, or even if there is a time it would be safe. Furthermore, perhaps you would be so kind as to put a shirt back on? It's unseemly and unprofessional." With that he entered the car, more than willing to stay alongside them in comfort, after all it would be unwise to shock them further.

Novus giggled at this, covering her mouth as she did so. "Fear not, we are being lead into danger no matter who is in charge. But to that end, I would follow Hakura into chaos itself." She smiled and nodded as the temperature was brought lower. Surely Hakura would appreciate the cool air. She sighed lightly and went about getting dressed in her more, elegant clothing. "There will be no problems with her abilities. In terms of skill and talent she surpasses all I have had the pleasure of fighting. I would even go so far as to say Father would be given a hard time, were it not for his non-physical capabilities. Even so, I have rarely fought someone so difficult to overcome."

Suzareigna listenedd to her older sister and absorbed all she said, and all the innuendo between her sentences. So this Hakura was formidable, that was a good thing. If Novus trusted her, that's fine, but one question remained. "If Hakura is fully capable of handling the situation here, why was it necessary for you to awaken at this time? Does her bloodless coup have anything to do with your special abilities? Are you her final weapon in this mission?"

There were more questions that needed to be asked, but for now, getting an answer to these would suffice. "Anyway, since you are awake and dressed, why don't we adjourn to the command center. I am sure Hakura will be anxious to discuss matters with you. Just remember, I am here to provide the ultimate protection to Amalia, and that I will do lest Father get angry with me for shirking my promise to protect her at all costs. That means wherever you go, I will be going."

Next she turned to Leon who appeared to still be recharging his energy. She saw no reason to wake him and let him be. If he was needed for some reason she could always awaken him telepathically..

"So, we best be going to the command center. I don't believe that Hakura likes to be kept waiting."

Upon reentering the command center, Suzi heard Hakura requesting- nicely ordering is more like it- the dragon lieutenant to send out her message. The dragon turned his head to face Suzareigna. His first instinct was to follow his princess's lead. "What are you waiting for lieutenant? The commanding general just issued an order. You don't need me or my mother to tell you to obey an officer's requests." Outwardly she was doing as her mother had told her, obey Hakura until it's time to not obey here. Inwardly she was glad her lieutenant waited for her permission to send out the message as requested.

Suzareigna then turned to Hakura to see if she noticed the dragon's hesitance in sending out the message as required. She didn't really care how Hakura felt, but the dragon princess did offer this up. "There will be no more delays in any of the dragons present from obeying your requests or commands."

Draco had just the perfect mode of transportation. No cars were needed and the distance they needed to cover would take too long in any conventional mode of transportation. "I suggest we rally our troops and I will get us to within walking distance. It's faster, won't hurt the continuum because it's a relatively short distance I know you don't prefer that mode of transportation, but under the new circumstances, it really is the best option "Do you want me to initiate some of our dragon troops to assist us?

Once Aegil entered the gateway, DLS took a look around the command center. She gave a short order to her troops." Listen and keep track of all three missions. Be very mindful of Prince Draco's in particular. He will be the one that may need help from your comrades in soonest. Otherwise, Listen to Hakura for orders (mentally adding- that don't contradict mine) and stay alert."

Then, she turned, gave a quick nod to Hakura and went through the gateway, only she didn't appear in the mix with the humans and Kor and Aegil. Instead, she immediately transformed to dragon and flew up and hid in the clouds. Things might get dicey and if they did, she needed to on high alert and in a position to assist. Her primary duty now was to protect Aegil, But given the opportunity, should it arise, Reaper would take precedence. For now, she floated unseen in the white fluffy clouds directly overhead of Aegil and the others. She was searching with eyes, ears and telepathy for any danger.

RESEMBOOL

The Elric Brothers

Edward and Alphonse were lying on the roof, Ed had his hands pillowing his head and Al was almost felling sleep after all the food he ate. They were watching the first stars in comfortable silent and they were also waiting for Brigadier General Alex Luis Amstrong to show up.

“Brother” Alphonse broke the silence.

“Yes?”

“Are you not worried at the sudden visit of Brigadier General Armstrong?”
“No” Al sat down to see at his brother, Winry voice can be heard, she was trying to heard the children into the bath.

“Why so?”

“well, since I’m not longer in the army and I’m just a civilian, the only worst thing they can ask of me, is to be a researcher.”

“Oh, your right brother. I just got that odd feeling” Al returned to stare at the sky.

“Don’t worry Al, this is not the first visit Brigadier General” Ed said calmly.

“We’re going to enjoy the visit and with any luck that man won’t bring more horrible dolls of himself”

“Look brother! Lights!” Alphonse sat down signalling the origin of light, Ed sat down again staring at the source of light.

“Here they come!” Ed yelled happy. “Come lets greet the army”

Both brothers jumped off the roof and walked some yards waiting for the army vehicles to stop.

Unlike what Edward Elric thought, Brigadier General Armstrong hadn't come for an informal visit to his old friends. He was here on official military business. He told Kor and Aegil to wait in the car and stepped out alone.

Brigadier General Alex Armstrong: "Hello Edward and Alphonse, I come with bad news. Unfortunately circumstances require your assistance and I have been sent by Fuhrer Mustang to repatriate you into service Edward. Your country, no your world needs your help. The Homunculi have somehow returned to wreak havoc once again and we need your help. Alphonse if you'd come too that would be much appreciated. Now I'm gonna need you to pack your things immediately. You only have 15 minutes. My soldiers will help you if you need assistance with packing whatever will be necessary to aid us in our fight against them."
