alifax deals 0 damage to byakko!
This was incredibly stupid. Alifax knew what was coming as soon as he saw the mutant reach over and grab the rope - but he also was aware that there was no way he'd be able to dodge anything. Except, fortunately, the boulders went right over him. That was...lucky.
But it didn't stay lucky, he realized. A stalactite fell from the cave, having been struck - and Alifax was fortunate enough to be right under it as it happened. Just great, ********. He had to get his bearings and get back up.

Eostre is attacking Byakko!
Managing to get loose finally, Eostre slips in with Byakko, and manages to land a good sneaky blow. Thankfully, Eostre managed to do that before she got hurt badly.

Larque attacks BYAKKO
Even Larque had to admit that the traps were fairly well laid-out. Even his hidey hole at the edge of Civisect didn't have booby traps as nice as these. As he was about to slash a rebel across their front and rush ahead after Tamiya, the rumble of the rock traps sounded, and he found himself pinned suddenly beneath the rubble, dazed and incapacitated.

PVP TROLL Stryke is attacking Kursha."i think so..i don't feel the best but I'll manage." He started to say, moving slightly so she didn't have a direct view at the golden blood. He could see her orangeblood as well. he agreed, they should stay close. Before he could say more to her, he gasped in pain before trying to hold his breath. The fumes from the acid made his eyes water. His eyes were instantly sore, and he knew not to rub at them so he tried blinking past the irritation but it was hard to open them. Stryke could barely see what the hell he was doing let alone where they were going as they moved through the darkened tunnels. He stumbled slightly, trying to reach for Keionx as to not loose track of her. "god damnit he's using acid?! look out!" He snarled in rage, horrified by the realization. He pushed a drone back before it could make its way close to Keionx. This wasn't like the time in the ruins, they would and could fight together. He was not the helpless child he'd been upon their first encounter. Stryke's HP: 6/20 Stryke deals 5 damage.

Abrila Variga attacks Byakko Mawiya "I went... uh... a lot of places," she said vaguely, waving her hand around like she was trying to draw a picture of where she had been. Various shelters and compounds, for example. Anywhere the train would take a troll that looked like it hadn't bathed in a 3 months. "Yeah, I got a lot of practice shovelling things, too." Like trash. So, so much trash.
Suddenly the flow of the battle began to rise again as Kursha and Byakko pulled out new and exciting ways to make everyone's lives miserable. It was Kursha's turn to toss hazardous chemical material around, and just as Abrila thought it couldn't get any worse, Akko pulled a rope and unleashed another horrible trap. The orangeblood gasped and stopped, throwing out her arm instinctively to block Dictys' way before ey ran into the way of the cascading boulders. Luckily, they were a safe distance. Some of their companions weren't so lucky.
Then, Abrila heard a deafening crunch above her. She looked up and saw a large stalactite with a huge crack widening across the base.
"Dictys... r-run!" She shouted over the noise. The stalactite came lose with a final crunch and the orangeblood shoved Dictys as hard as she could away from the danger, taking the entire impact on herself. The stone slammed her into the ground and her breath whooshed out of her body, and she gasped, tasting blood where she had bit her tongue. Her vision swam as she felt something on her head come lose from hitting the ground so hard, and she vaguely wondered if Mommydaddy had acted in time to help their charge. HP: 12/20

Holy s**t. Abrila had just been talking, and then suddenly Dictys had felt a shove in the center of eir chest, and ey fell backwards suddenly. About to be offended, Dictys looked up and realized that there were boulders flying everywhere, and ey'd just narrowly avoided being hit thanks to Abrila's push. Sometimes there really wasn't time for words. Ey turned to thank her, but realized after a bit that he couldn't see her. " A-abrila?" Where'd she gone? Somewhere in the fray, Mommydaddy was for once unaware of what was happening. Mommydaddy HP is at 28/40 Mommydaddy does 3 damage to akko

The acid burned his eyes, and Poe buried his face in Lanata's soft wool, hoping for protection. He hoped she'd be okay after all of this... he wondered if he really was doing what was right.

HP: 12/20 Etsali yelped as Scuttle sped past the group suddenly, careening into the fray and out of sight faster than she would have imagined. Tevini was begging her to go after him, she realized. "What? His brakes are-?" She weighed the options quickly, hesitant to leave them unprotected. Cerpin's lusus was still here, yeah, but- Augh, it would be fine if she was quick. "Wait here, stay low, if anythign comes at you, you move that way," she pointed down the tunnel. "And you keep moving until I catch up to you, got it?" The thief turned on her heel and ran into the battle, chasing down the wayward turtle. Where had he gone? "Hey, Scuttle!" Did turtle lusii even speak? She didn't know! As she ran there was a strange sound, an awful splatter of yellow liquid across the walls. She skidded to a stop in horror as trolls began to scream. The royalists had thrown some kind of acid. As she stood in horror, something bumped her foot. She jumped, then looked down and saw a grenade. A dud? No, wait, wasn't this...? Her eyes gleamed. Scooping it off the floor, she turned to find a clear window to the greenblood and pulled the pin. "We'll see who's pathetic." She let it fly with a solid throw. She hoped it hurt him ten times as badly as he'd hurt Ephias. But oh jeez, the kids! Had they gotten away from the acid alright? "Scuttle! Where did you go?" There! She rushed forward to get a hand on the turtle's shell and tried tugging him back towards the kids. Hopefully they were alright. Hopefully everyone was. Belatedly she realized she hadn't seen Luxara or Forera since the start of the fight. Tilting back her head, she decided to check in on them. "TUNNEL SNAKES!" Etsali does 9 damage to Kursha!

TAMIYA IS ATTACKING BYAKKOPVP TROLL9/20 Novice Agility A Trinket Tamiya's face paled under her make-up and she began to sprint down the tunnels. An immense chunk of stone was loosed behind her, and she frantically looked around for Larque. Drones were bowled over. She felt her breath catch in her throat and suddenly a place of respite came into view. Tamiya dove behind it and felt the boulder shear over her skull. A moment later and she may have been crushed. Tamiya does 2 damage.

Luxara is attacking Kursha!"Exactly, right? But people don't think, I guess! Wait, no. Highbloods don't think." Luxara halted again, thought, rolled her eyes at Kursha. "Also him. He sure doesn't think either. Look at that, he's trying to kill us with those goddamn sandals on!" She wrinkled her nose. "I hope I get a chance to take them off since he never freaking listened about that."
Almost as if in response to her constant needling, Kursha was shouting at them again. Ohhhhh boy! At least it looked like he was finally getting wrecked. More grenades? Well, s**t. She wasn't surprised anymore; just annoyed. He was overly-prepared for this mess. How long had he planned to try to kill the people he had worked with for so long? And he was calling them pathetic?
"Duck!"
She immediately hid behind the closest bit of cover, pressing her small self against the natural rock structute. Luxara hissed at how hard she had thrust herself against it, irritating her burn wound again. God dammit! She stepped back out, seeing the damage she managed to avoid. "Nice toys, but you're sure factoring luck over expertise! Let me demonstrate." While smarting a little still, she raised her crossbow for another shot. Even with the fog, she could see his traitorous a**. Fired right at his knee, too. Maybe that could take him out for a bit.HP: 11/20 Attack: 4 + 1 = 5 Inventory: Agility trinket

Focusing on the twitch of his hands, the nervous sweat on his palms, and the movement of his fingers, Nictor set about releasing another drone. He only flinched a little at the rewarding pat on the head, managing to offer a nervous smile up at them and a small hum to show he meant no offense. It was only Beehemoth perching behind him that kept him from reacting more violently at the contact. While Nictor felt he'd done admirably so far not to totally shut down due to the overload, it was getting to be a but much and the stress of the situation was fraying his nerves. The sound of rubble falling and some tremors shaking the cavern set the yellowblood even more on edge but with a few deep breaths and a comforting touch from Bee, he went back to his self assigned work, helping untangle drones from the traps and stray nets they'd gotten caught in.

ZEFFER IS ATTACKING KURSHA
He could hear Kursha's voice echoing through the cavern again. Usually the greenblood making a racket meant something was about to happen...and Zeffer quickly found that he wasn't wrong in that assumption as the grenades rained down into the crowd.
"s**t!! LOOK OUT!!" There was no time. He turned to the cave wall, pulled Maneki to his chest and wrapped his coat around tight again, waiting for the explosion...only to feel a splash of something on him instead. Glancing back, he was met with a disgusting sight, stomach turning as he realized they hadn't been explosives.
"OH, ********!!, Kid, pull your shirt up over your mouth, cover your face--" Thank goodness he'd shielded Maneki beneath his jacket. The stuff was starting to burn through his clothes. Most of it had got on his coat tails, soaking through it harmlessly, but a lot had got onto the back of his pants, soaking in through the fabric to burn his ankles and calves. He kept his charge close, and snarled, taking his anger out on a nearby drone by cracking his baton against their skull.
"Damn that stupid ********>" Zeffer was seething mad, wracked with pain and unable to do much about it. He was just lucky that the clothes he usually wore were so thick, but his legs stung badly, and he wished he could tear them off. "Vremea, are you alright?? Did it get on you?" He moved back over, realizing he'd practically slammed himself into the wall to protect Maneki.21/40- 4 = 17/40 +1 dmg for adult +1 for military grade weps ZEFFER DID 5 DAMAGE

Before any harm could be done to her child, Mamaju leapt form to intercept the oncoming explosion. She had no idea what to expect, when the acid splashed onto her body it took everything in the creatures will power not to yowl in agony. She didn't want to scare her troll, and did her best to shake off what she could, but her pelt would never be the same in those spots that had been splashed.

ANGUIS IS ATTACKING KURSHA
"Is he really- oh god he is," Anguis squinted at the figure above, already feeling his feet hurt in sympathy. Sandals sounded like an awful idea, how the hell was he battling in them. "Maybe you can shoot 'em off or something." Now that, that would be funny. But also probably happen considering her aim.
The grenade though, he was better prepared this time. He dived for cover, closing his eyes and crouching low. When nothing happened though he peeked them open, surprised to find what he was in. "Crap" He said frustratedly and then regretted it immediately as his lungs burned, realizing what was around him. He took a final intake of air, hoping that it would help him some and staggered his way through the cloud, just barely making it out without passing out. Making a half-hearted attempt to get an enemy out of the way, he gasped out "Lux?" hoping she would hear him and was nearby.
Anguis did not feel good at all.
HP: 7/20
