Grabbing his own coat, he nodded, following behind the angel. Eyes squinted briefly to adjust to the early sunlight. "Now to find a place." He said half to himself. The place they had gone to earlier wasn't exactly a breakfast restaurant. And he still didn't know much of this area very well; the first time he'd been to this part of town was when he came to Tsuki's home.

Tsuki wasn't exactly sure about where they were going but headed towards the town centre as it seemed to be the most likely place to find a cafe or a restaurant. Soon they came upon a small but friendly eatery. The angel looked at the other man questioningly "Is this place all right?"

Looking over the place, he nodded once more, opening the door and holding it. "Go ahead." Ryan waited calmly, glancing briefly down the street. There were quite a few small shops that lined it. It was odd how much he didn't know of the city.. or had maybe forgotten. It'd been a long time since he had been there, until now.

Tsuki smiled and walked through the door that the other man held for him. Once they had taken their seats and given their orders to the kindly waitress, the angel relaxed. "I'm surprised. This is a really nice place once you get used to it." he mused "I certainly makes a change to the types of places I usually get sent to."

Glancing out the window of their booth, he sipped the water the waitress had left. "Tsuki.." He paused a moment, debating his thoughts. His mind had been drifting a lot that morning.. about the current events and situation between the two. It wasn't that he questioned it, but that he was confused to the real purpose of this.. relationship.. the strength. "You'd said earlier you loved me." He drank some more of the water, watching a bird outside pick at a piece of trash on the sidewalk.

Tsuki smiled at him earnestly. So he had heard him that day. The angel didn't know whether he should be extatic or terrified at whatever Ryan's reaction would be. "Yes" he replied taking a sip of his tea. "I meant it."

Ryan nodded once more. He was doing that a lot lately for some reason. The fallen one grew silent, sipping his water until the waitress came back with their orders. The water was replaced by a cup of coffee. He gave a mild thanks, pushing the now empty water glass away, which the waitress took as she left.

Tsuki stared at him nervously. Why hadn't he said anything? Was there a problem? What was wrong? He had just offered his heart on a plate and all he had received was a nod. The angel suddenly felt very afraid at the prospect of rejection, or the thought that his feelings might not be returned.

Well aware of the look he was receiving, Ryan shifted his gaze from the window to meet Tsuki's. He really didn't know what to say.. the whole 'love' idea was a very alien and strange thing, and he was still trying to understand the weird sensations that could only be registered as new feelings as of lately. But he need to be sure that the angel wasn't just interested in him for the fact that he was something dark and different.

Tsuki looked at him sadly. "It doesn't matter." he said unesily. "It's a lovely day isn't it?" he said changing the subject "I alway seem to take the morning for granted but it's good to appreciate it's beauty once in a while."

Ryan blinked. "Why do you do that?" He asked, taking a drink of his coffee. He knew he should probably have said something, but the fact was that he didn't know what to say. But he was still leaving the angel in the dark, which wasn't right either.. and hell.. If that had been the fallen angel, he would have gone berserk.. granted he was probably a bit more violent then Tsuki, but still..

Tsuki looked up at him with surprise "Do what?" he asked "You didn't seem to want to talk about it anymore so I changed the subject." he stated sadly, silently pleading for him to say something to the contrary.

"I never said that." He said, staring at his coffee with his brow furrowed. "I'm the one who brought it up anyway." He drank a little more, sitting back against the booth. "I just.. wanted to know if you were making that up or not. I guess I still don't see how it's possible, since you don't know a lot about me.." He looked out the window again. It was surprising how awkward talking about such rediculous things was.

Tsuki sighed. "I wasn't making it up." he said angrily but without raising his voice. "And maybe I'd know more about you if you actually opened up and told me." he frowned and focused his attention on the tea he had ordered. "I'm with you after the last thing you told me, why should this be any different."

He tensed a little at the last comment, eyes falling to stare at his coffee again. "That I told you that, should be enough.." He said after a while, his voice flat and quiet. "I didn't leave you either." He took a drink and set the cup back down, tapping a finger against the side of it with some annoyance.
