Sailor Nemesis activated her ability card, realizing that she was dangerously low on HP despite letting her guild handle most of the bosses. She was simply too cool for school.

Mimsy flopped down next to Robert and unsubtly moved close enough that not even a grain of sand could get between them.
"Hello! You are quite bestidious, if I may say. Oh--of course I may. I just have." Duh. "I simply must have you...which is admittedly misleading, as my reasons are reasonably complex. We should be wed!"

Like many others, Nightbloom didn't like to admit her weaknesses. While she was aware of them, she had rarely let them hold her back, struggling to remain positive despite it all...
But this was different. The moment she looked at the boss, she felt that something was wrong. Any and all feelings of hope were washed away replaced instead by a bitterness of her own uselessness and flaws.
Until, that was, two of her teammates managed to bring it down. She had to admit, she was impressed.
...And maybe a little terrified.

TotallyAllan looked up ath the boss and every part of him just gave out. They'd come so far, but what did it matter? His axe felt impossibly heavy in his hands and he just... couldn't move.
But some of his party broke through, apparently, and defeated the monster nearly unaided.
TotallyAllan was impressed, and as soon as the spell of the monster was broken he felt better about their odds. They totally had this.

The next boss had come around. It spoke to him, stating how weak and small he was. Normally he wouldn't have really bought into that but... he felt like he was fading. His senses began to numb. Closing his good eye, he tried to will this feeling away. But instead he could almost feel himself drifting. Strength was leaving him.
He wasn't able to do a whole lot during the battle as a result.
When the feeling faded, he let out a sigh.

SANDSHARK had been mesmerized by this new boss. It had caught him off guard, and he wasn't prepared to face the mental manipulation at that point. He felt like nothing, felt like his existence was simply a joke. Fading into nothing, again. He tried to fight it, tried to overcome, but in the end he did nothing.
Hulk and Mimsy ended up saving the day this time. He gave them both a nod of thanks, still chilled to the bone. Seeing something gleaming in the area the boss was, he went over to pick it up.
Ah, a King's Diadem card. He read it briefly, courage seeping into his system once more. With this card, he could fight without any fear!

NotAllan just stood back and watched, kicking her feet up.
Might as well take a break if they were going to let her! Before long though, the creature was down and she was going to take advantage of that.

Dotdotdot already had little self-worth, and she definitely didn't need the boss reminding her and making her feel even worse. Like everyone else, she let the two take care of this boss, and she was amazed that they were able to do it by themselves. Maybe she would one day be as amazing as them? That made her feel a little better.

Shadowstep sent away his cat rabbit and summoned an alpaca in its stead. Glancing over the mini, he just gave it a curt nod. It would have to do. From there, he looked over his equipment, making sure everything was in place. He was tired from all the battles, but they weren't done. Not yet. He set his skills in play, gritting his teeth. Something just sapped his strength.
HP: 14 [Taking final boss ability auto damage pre emptively]
