Kitara, curious of what is going on downstairs, comes down. She almost says something, but she pauses to sniff the air.
"Something's coming, soon."

Margem nods and, with quick goodbye wishes, hugs and kisses for her parents and the others, she leaves the house. She says no words, all that she needs at her back.

Lord Okalwa looks over to the blue-haired woman elf and says, "You are right, Kitara. We must get ready for the day ahead of us."

His wife turns to the albino woman, "I have a connection with my daughter, but it is best to let her go. However, you should leave now if you do not wish to be in the middle of a battle."

Lael says grimly, "No. I'll stay. I may not be able to fight, but you'll need someone who can heal on the feild. To many injuries cannot wait until a battle is over not to have someone. I suggest that you keep some other doctors as well as myself. We'll need all the help we can get."

Lael shakes her head, her mouth set stubbornly. "Forgive me, but you do not understand. These things killed my family, my friends, my entire village. I swore on their graves that I would have revenge. I cannot fight, but neither can I run and hide. And if I die, so be it. I should have died that day. But since I did not I shall make what I can of this life. Set up a building as an infirmary. Put beds and what medical supplies you have. I shall stay there and tend to those wounded in the feild. Do not ask me to leave. It is something I cannot do."

Darian nods grimly. "They come expecting it to be as easy as before." he says. "They're sadly mistaken."

Ana and Kitara head outside.
"Where to first?" the elvish woman asks.
"My friends' daughter Samantha and her humanistic husband Timothy. It'll be hard for them to leave but it would be even worse for them to stay," Ana says.


Jay follows Lael as they head downstairs. He chirps something but, realizing that she doesn't understand, flits around a bit more in frustration.


"Now then," Okalwa says, turning to the elf that remains at his side, "Let's get to those weapons. First, to my shed out back. I need to get the key first, though."
Without asking the young Moonleaf to follow him, he heads towards his office (which is on the main floor). Arriving at his desk, the black haired man sits down and opens up a drawer. He reaches in to the drawer and, after a bit of shuffling and rustling, out comes a key in his hand.

Philip looks up and says, "Well, let's get to this, eh? To the shed."

With these words, he heads to the backyard. Stepping outside, one can see with sharp eyes (looking across the yard) that there is a shed, hidden a bit by shrubs and vines.

"Let's see what you've got here." Darian says, looking straight forward, at the shed. I hope that shed has some suitable weapons. Even improvised weapons will help if they work well.

"Maybe we should break it open," Darian says, noticing that the lock seems completely rusted shut, "Do you have anything fairly heavy laying around that one of us could get a decent swing at the lock with?"
