"Sounds good," Sy grinned at her. "Then the only thing left is Andarien needs a glove."

"Pair, please," Andarien spoke up timidly. "That way hopefully I won't keep cutting myself with the feathers."

Sy looked as though she was going to say something, but she bit her tongue and smiled instead.

"A pair, then," she agreed. "This way."

She started off towards the display of leather gloves, beckoning for Andarien and the others to follow.

The gloves were pretty much the same, though they did come in various sizes, thicknesses and colours. It didn't take Andarien long to choose a pair of form-fitting suede leather gloves, short at the wrist so that they wouldn't get in the way of his clothes.

"All right," Sy grinned once he had chosen them. "If you want to take your gloves now, I can deliver your arrows in their quiver tomorrow morning with your bow. What do you say?"

"Will you have Lin's and my arrows then as well?" Earendil asked before his son could reply.

Sy nodded, still grinning. "Of course! The only time things might take longer than one day is if we're completely swamped or if you're ordering a custom bow. First thing tomorrow, right after breakfast, I'll deliver it all."

Andarien nodded. "I think so. Unless there's something I don't know about."

He looked at Sy, who shook her head. "No, that's everything," she told him.

Earendil got the total from Sy and paid for everything, and then they all bid the girl farewell and left the shop.

Iorlas and Daeron were still standing outside the shop with the Pokemon when the others emerged, leaning against the wall and looking a bit bored. When the others stepped out, Iorlas smiled and straightened up, but Daemon grimaced as he stood up again.

"Took you long enough," he complained - though for those who knew him well, there was a twinkle in his eye that showed he was teasing. "What did you do in there? Nap?"

Daeron chuckled. It was good to know that Lin didn't take his drama personally anymore.

"Weaver?" he suggested. "We've only got two streets left to look through, there's got to be a weaver somewhere around here."

"Well, let's check it out," Earendil suggested.

"Looks good," Earendil agreed; and he stepped forward and opened the door, holding it for the others.

"I'll wait outside again," Andarien volunteered, putting one hand on Ponydash's shoulder. "I don't need anything else, I don't think."

"Don't get into any trouble," Daeron teased his nephew as he and Iorlas headed inside.

The shop smelled of a variety of reeds and straws, and the entire place was filled with things that were woven: everything from furniture, like tables and chairs; to usable items, like baskets, bassinets, place mats for tables, hot plates and more.

At the one side of the shop, a woman and a young girl, both of whom appeared to be Light Elves, or at least mostly, were sitting on stools, each of them working on a project.

"Good morning," the woman greeted her customers with a welcoming smile. Her blue eyes were warm and bright. "Welcome to our humble shop. May I help you with anything?"

The woman eyed Miyuki's hand thoughtfully, her hands never faltering in their weaving. After a moment, she nodded towards a shelf on the far side of the room.

"Raejisa," she said softly, "please show the young lady the small baskets, will you?"

The girl, somewhere around fourteen or fifteen years old, about the same age as Sy, nodded and set her weaving aside.

"Please, theez weh," she said warmly to Miyuki. Her accent was one so far unknown to the group, and it was clear that this girl, like Alaric, was also just learning the Common Tongue.

She led Miyuki over to the shelf her mother had indicated and showed her the variety of baskets that were on it. There were baskets of various sizes, from the size of a bird's nest to the size of a bread box, some round, some square, some rectangular, some with handles, some without, each of them solidly woven and lightweight.

"I 'ope thet some of theez are to your likeen," Raejisa smiled at Miyuki. "But eef not, then we do haf some othairs ..."

The girl smiled and told Miyuki the price, and Earendil paid for it cheerfully. It seemed things were cheaper in this town than they had been in Caras Galadhon, which made him quite happy.

"Is theah anytheen else I may do fo' you?" the girl asked warmly after the transaction had been completed.
