"Ah, speak of the Darkrai," Osmond breathed as he beheld the aforementioned grandson of Mortimer return in one peace. There was a dwindling suspicion from the boy's disappearance that irked the officer the wrong way, but he disregarded it, for the younger male's face bellied an exuberance he couldn't take as vile. "Careful where you go, bud," he said to Arwen with a nod. "Man here seemed a bit worried at your disappearance. Don't cause your old grandpop here to much trouble now, y'hear?"

____________T R U S T . N O . O N E
Small search parties were formed, some went off on their own to search, others just didn't care.
A few hours passed and the sun was high in the air. It was evident that the missing pokemon were not going to be returning. Various searches came up empty. Clues led to dead ends and even more questions. Maybe someone in the group knows something...

((Edit: Prior to prompt))
A cold fear came over Koorie as she heard the murmurs of the lost pokemon having been stolen. There was only one reason so many pokemon would be taken like that:
Team Rocket.
The mere thought of the crime organization brought ice to her veins, and she looked down at the little vulpix that stood beside her. Blue eye locked with hers and Koorie took a deep breath in, making the difficult choice to leave her precious companion outside of the pokeball. "Stay where I can see you, Miu. No exceptions."

((belated, prior to prompt)) Cael looked ridiculously relieved when the lady in the bandana(?) joined them, even if she had a cat pokemon and he didn't know what to do around them. He felt safer already. At Dave. "Cloud is usually here when I wake up, or she gets back before long. I'm sure she'd be back by now if the could, she can hear really well." He said, biting his lip and waiting for the others to continue. The others were right. They had to plan. Maybe she'd come walking back why they waited and this'd just be silly. "Thankyou, both .." he murmured. He looked even more reveled when the yellow poocheyna came up, and knelt to try to catch her around the shoulders in a hug. "Cloud disappeared, poochy, but at least you and Miles and the lady's kitty are still here." He said (into her fur if she allowed it).

@ Search Parties Juno had Desdemona's lantern securely packed in her bag, just the ring at the top peeking out from beneath a flap. She tapped several people on the shoulder, trying to get their attention. "Excuse me, you're looking for the missing Pokémon, correct?" the tall woman asked, ever so politely. "It might be nothing, but there was a little pile of rocks I spotted, a ways back on the trail. There was something odd about it. It seemed to be... glowing? I thought it might be worth looking into." She shrugged. "Entirely up to you."

Cara looked at the red-headed woman and nodded. "Uh thanks...We'll look into it." She said warily. Cara had seen this woman throughout the journey but oddly enough, she hadn't really seen her today. She practically stood out like a sore thumb with that bright red hair and the way she dressed.

A glowing pile of rocks?Well, that was something that would certainly get Mordred's attention if he had wandered off on his own, but somehow Dora was beggining to think that her Murkrow, full of mischief as he was, had for once not gone off willingly... and she wasn't about to go too far from the main group, Doduo to ride or no - not without a battle pokémon, just in case. Still, she couldn't just ignore the suggestion. "Glowing, huh? What sort of glow are you talking about?"

"That's a damn shame." Mortimer muttered, looking towards Herbert in thought before turning his head back towards Osmond. He stiffened at the mention of his grandson. "You haven----" he was cut short by his grandson's holler.
Mortimer grinned. "Thanks for the help, sonny!" he exclaimed, shaking the officer's hand. "I must depart to my grandson, but I'll make sure to be on the look out for any missing pokemon!"
The elderly trainer shuffled over towards Arwen, and gave him a great big ol' hug. Well, big in Mort's terms. "Glad you're okay." he said, holding onto the younger man for a bit longer before reluctantly letting go. "Who are these lovely folks? And where's Sebastian?" These people didn't look familiar. Then again, his memory was really hazy. Damn old age.

((Before prompt.))
"Will do, sir" Arwen replied politely. Then, turning back to Mortimer, Sorry if I worried you."
He took the old man's arm and gently led him away, appearing preoccupied with the action to dissuade further conversation. With a sigh, he pointed out Parth who was standing near a little boy he thought he'd seen earlier.
Parthenius whined, genuinely sad to hear the news. She nuzzled his face when he hugged her and licked his ear a few times reassuringly. She was sure she'd seen her trainer with other Pokémon a few days ago. It would be okay if she stayed with the boy for now, right? _______________________________________________________________
((After prompt.))
Arwen was tired from all the searching they did and, with a heavy exhale, dropped onto a rock.
"Whew, I think I need a break," he said, fanning himself.
"Did the others have any luck?" he wondered aloud, looking around as he did so. He saw a few people gathering about and he watched curiously, rummaging in his bag for a snack as he did so. He summoned Parth to him (who'd been with Cael the entire search) and offered her a few berries.

@ Search Parties "Well, the glow seemed quite bright. Perhaps something was hidden under it. Or perhaps..." Juno put a finger to her lips thoughtfully, as if she'd just thought of it. "Perhaps it was hiding some sort of secret entrance? I could lead you back to it." ((FYI: You haven't "seen" Juno much today because I haven't been able to get on much. IC, she's been milling around with everyone else. X3))

Before Prompt: Tracking wasn't one of her strong suits, but it seemed as if there were only a few options of where they might have gone. Either up, or back down. Unless of course they had a flying pokemon big enough to carry the other stolen pokemon, which wasn't that hard. In that case, they could be anywhere. " No idea." This was incredibly problematic. " Maybe look around t' tents for clues?" Yeah. She was so not helpful at the moment. After prompt: She hadn't found a thing. There were footprints everywhere, but there was no way to know when they had been made, and people had been every which way thanks to the battle, and the mingling they had done once they set up camp. This was starting to look like a lost cause, and she was starting to get hungry. Maybe a quick snack break, and she'd see if any of the others had seen anything. However, before she had a chance to do that, a woman had approached the searchers, and said that she had seen a glowing pile of rocks. That was kind of unusual, but she wasn't sure if they should investigate them or not. It kind of sounded a bit like a trap. Still, if these guys were going to go and look at them, she was going with them. " Count me in on this."

After searching high and low, neither Shaun nor anyone else had found anything. When people gathered back at the campsite to try and figure out what to do next, Shaun joined them and slid off Salvo's back to let the Tropius rest. He looked around, wondering what could have happened. After this long with no sign, it seemed extremely unlikely that the pokemon just wandered off for any reason. Throughout the search he'd kept remembering tales of various criminal groups stealing pokemon. That hadn't seemed likely at first, but more and more he was starting to wonder: was someone in this group a thief? Maybe more than one person? He looked around the group, trying to remember if anyone had done anything suspicious. He'd only really met a few people, and he ticked through then to try and figure out if anything seemed odd to him. The only thing that stuck out at all was when Osmond pulled out his police badge to show him. Sure, they'd been talking about the fact that he was an off-duty cop, but he expected that one usually didn't show a badge for anything beyond official business. Maybe he was trying to throw suspicion off? But how could he try and check if the cop story was a cover without getting anyone upset? After a moment he went over to Osmond, with Salvo trailing along behind. "I've been thinking, all these pokemon gone without a trace seems rather suspicious," he said. "I'm worried they might have been stolen. You're a police officer, off-duty or not. What's the best way to go about checking for thieves?" He watched the man and was prepared to consider his words carefully, trying to see if anything he said or did suggested that he might be less than honest.

"I don't know about this," Dora said, nibbling on her lip thoughtfully. "I mean, it's not like I have much more to lose with Mordred missing, but - why haven't you checked this place out yourself if it was so unusual? Why get someone else to go?" At the very least Dora felt that what's-her-name should be able to answer those questions before she blindly went off on some kind of foolish, separate from everyone miniature quest.

A loud buzzing started to come from somewhere a little ways away from the campsite. "I think my Volcarona found something!" Simon said loudly. "I'm going to go check it out, anyone else is free to join," He said.
