*Shortstraw suddenly perked up. He felt somthing... something... diffrent. He looked to Asher in silence. The looked downt o find his hand clanched on his chest. Somthing didn't feel right. Was things going to happen again? Was this feeling a sign of somthing, he was unsure.*

As soon as Kiera was in the water, most of her hair fizzled up to start with, and started to turn a weird shade of red. Then suddenly as the water seeped into the mechanics of the gauntlet, there was a large electric pulse released from her arm, forcing her to resuscitate herself and her eyes snapped open in the water. They had turned from red, to a clear opal. Nothing. And as Kiera's body laid motionless at the bottom of the pool, the king stared over it. Sean held his hand to his mouth. "Was that supposed to happen, father?" The king frowned. "Seems the dirty dove didn't tell us everything." Kiera's body bobbed up and down, then she coughed under the water. The pain was searing. The water had poured into her system and was now shaping everything differently. She hadn't experienced a pain like this before. And the gauntlet at her side was blinking uncontrollably. This wasn't good. This really wasn't good. Suddenly the gauntlet flashed, under the water, making all of the council recoil to shield their eyes. Idiots... She shut her eyes again, the gauntlet making weird clanking noises, and then suddenly stopped. And she disappeared from sight. Not a trace of her aura anywhere.

*Shortstraw looked around and desided to sit down. He took deep breaths and closed his eyes to clear his mind. Whatever he was feeling... was suddely gone... for the moment. He then opened his eye and felt fine again. "i think i should go home..." he replied getting up. He said goodnight to Soflora and started to walk home int he dark.*

The kings eyes thinned. Sean was hopping all over the place. "She's gone! She's gone! Father-" "I know, Sean. I know. This isn't over yet. She's not gone." The king stared at the water for what felt like hours. The council had even gone to get him a chair and promptly dissipated. Still he sat there, watching the water intently. Waiting for something to happen. But it never did. Sean came to him a few hours later, putting a hand on his shoulder. The king flinched. "Father, please join us for dinner." The king shook his head, and suddenly had a shiver. "No, I feel something." He pointed to the water. "Watch." Sean did as he said, and saw as little specks of particles suddenly accumulated at the bottom of the pool. As more and more gathered, some limbs were suddenly seen, then a body, and finally, a girl. Kiera was back. Eyes closed, short red hair still blazing and floating delicately in the water. The king smiled. "What did I tell you." Sean was startled. "But did it work?" The king stood up and stretched his back. "Only one way to find out." Sean nodded as he fled to one of the side rooms to get some helpers. And the king just leaned over the pool in anticipation. "Where were you now, sweet little dove?"

*Shortstraw got home and foundAva training again. She seemed to have fixed her weapon and she was again tring aginst the tree. This time however he noticed how she attacked it and and stood and watched. "Your doing much better. Just a little more practice and your have it down." he nodded and stepped into the house.*

As Sean returned with some helpers, they quickly climbed into the water and lifted Kiera out. When she was laid before the king, there was nothing. He looked closer to her, and saw that she was actually breathing. At least. Although not willing to wake up. This was fine. This was supposed to happen. He stood up straight again and looked to his son. "Take her to some private chambers to rest. She'll be tired." Sean nodded and took her up in his arms. He didn't like how limp her body felt, and how her head fell back as he carried her. Not to mention the fact that she wasn't dry yet. Normally in this situation, she was already be dry from her body heat. But no, not this time. Once Sean had taken her to a private room on the west wing of the castle, he placed her on the bed gently. Her clothes were all wet, and her short hair. Oh her beautiful long hair was gone. Nor did it retain it's color. If anything, this new look made her more strikingly beautiful, but this was Sean, he would always think this. Sean brushed a bedraggled hair from her face and took a step back. He should get some servants to change her clothes for her. Yes, that's what he should do. He just couldn't get over how she looked, right now. And then there was that gauntlet she was wearing. Was she wearing that when she was first pushed into the pool? That was the thing that was causing the bright light. And probably made her disappear. What was it? Sean got closer again, and knelled before the bed, inspecting the gauntlet. He touched one button. One. And he was suddenly flung back in a powerful shockwave. Nope, he wouldn't be doing that again. He quickly fled the room to go get some servants. And Kiera's body just laid there.

*Shortstraw quietly made himself some food and then headed up stairs with it. Keria never did say he couldn't eat up stairs. So he took it with him. He then sat o the bed and ate some nice hot romen when Ava slowly came into the room and went to sit next to him. But when she sat in kerias spot he stopped her, "no!" He cought himself and spoke softer, "thats kerias spot. Sit over here..." he move aside alittle and let her sit down. She shied, "ever time i wake up im older. Im... diffrent then other people." Shortstraw nodded, "Yes you are. And theres no denail in that. But, you will have a nice long and full life. And coming from Eve, that makes you a warrior. Your going to be strong, and probably a good leader at one point." He nodded.

Once Kiera's clothes were changed, and everyone else had left, Sean still sat there, on Kiera's bed. He would wait there for hours, if he'd have to. When the servants were changing Kiera's clothes he'd gone down to question his father as to how long it would take until she woke up. He was annoyingly cryptic, as usual. And said that there was no definite time. Sean stared at her from the end of the bed, taking note of her features. She now wore some clothing from their country. Warm, because of the weather, yet bland and stylish. Robe-like. Suited her a lot. Brought out her beauty. Sean sighed. He had been through the same process she had, when he was a child. They all had to go through it. This purification. Their whole nation was pure. And now so was she. In theory. In theory, she should no longer have trouble with this alter ego his father described. He didn't even know she had this. Some admirer he was. But he would be the first person she woke up to, for sure. And then they could talk things over. He could understand. Kiera's body suddenly flinched, as she flipped onto her side and started heavily coughing. She coughed out all the water she could have inhaled while in the pool, which turned out to be a considerable amount, before she laid back again, wheezing. Sean instantly jumped to her side. "Kiera..? Kiera?"

*Ava shied, "I know that i wasn't suppost to be here..." Shortstraw stopped her, "but you are now. And that is what matters. No matter the situation, I do belive Eve needed something to hang onto, somthing to love. I know she was vary... embariced that keria and i fell in love, and that keria found love before her. Asueming it's real love." He chukkled joking as he nudged her, "so my point is. Your here now. Be all you can be, and show you matter. Never back down to that, to no one." She smiled, "thanks... daddy." He looked puzzled, "that will be hard to get used too... call me shortstraw." She shrugged, "but i dont' want to." I like the feelingof having a dad." He nodded, "but sadly wne you say that others will not appreshait it. They think there is more to it, i can't alow that. Expechally around keria."

Kiera's eyes fluttered for a moment, before they snapped open. Clear as they were when she was in the pool, reflecting an opal color. Her eyes adjusted to the light as she looked to Sean, blinked a couple times more, then exhaled. "Am I really awake?" Her voice was croaky, deep, and Sean frowned sadly. "Yes, this isn't a dream. You're in my castle, Kiera." Kiera shut her eyes and held a stony expression. "I see." Sean was keen to ask questions, and put a hand on her shoulder. "Do you feel anything? Is that alter ego there anymore?" Kiera stayed silent, and just laid there to breathe for a few minutes. When her eyes opened again, they were lazy and impatient. "Alter ego?" Sean nodded sadly. "My father put you in the pool of purification to get rid of it. He believed it to be the true Kiera's wishes." Kiera looked from side to side slowly. "Aha. I see." She then sat up, her head was spinning and she brought her hands to rub her eyes. Then she looked down to her clothing. "How long was I unconscious for?" Sean felt hurt that she completely disregarded his questions, but held her back for support. "Just several hours. At first you had disappeared for a few hours, while you were in the water." Kiera's expression was unchanging, she hadn't looked to him yet. "All right." It was like she was learning these things all over again. "And I was just.. gone?" Sean nodded. "Yeah. Came back as particles, too." Kiera shut her eyes and lowered her head gravely. "I see." She repeated the phrase.

*Ava nodded, "then i'll ease up... i don't wish to make life any harder on you either." He shied, "i do take responssablility for you now however. I will not let Eve be the only one you have. So your be living here with us and all, but... lets keep the dad stuff to a minamum." She nodded, "okay. Goodnight." He watched her leave, closing the door behind her has shelaid back down and slumped. He sat the empty bowl aside and closed his eyes, "the confussing things i have to go thorugh." he chukkled, "makes things extra spechal one way or another." He smiled. "i Hope kerias okay." He replied to himself opening his eyes in wonder.

Sean eyed her up carefully. "Are you.. all right?" Kiera shoved him out of the way forcefully as she climbed out of the bed and walked over to her dry clothes. She picked them up to find all sorts of rips and tears in them. She just set them down again and grunted. "Fine." Kiera then walked straight out of the room and down the flights of stairs. Sean followed her eagerly. Surely she couldn't know her way around the castle? But as Kiera made her way to the hall, she found the king still by the pool. He turned, to see Kiera walking up to him with a stone expression. "Ah, sweet dove. I trust you had a good rest?" Kiera didn't stop as she reached him, and suddenly grappled onto his neck, raising him into the air. Sean was watching from the other side of the hall and his mouth fell open. The king gasped for air and Kiera's hands closed tight around his windpipe. She then slammed him to the ground, creating a mini earthquake and shattering all the glass pillars and the perfect floor crumbled beneath them. Kiera still held him by his neck to the ground. "You really didn't know what you were doing." The king coughed. "Sweet dove. You didn't tell me about your god-like contraption." Kiera looked to her left wrist. The gauntlet was no longer there. She looked back to the king lazily, and suddenly a great amount of energy was released from her, tearing everything around her apart like unwinding a spiders web. Everything unfabricated. Kiera still knelt there, on top of the king, the only little earth pillar in the middle of a giant crater. The king was now frowning, and Kiera's expression had never changed. "You don't realize what you did." The kings eyelids fluttered, and he was suddenly glad for his poor eyesight. "You didn't tell me everything." Kiera suddenly brought her hand off him and she stood up straight, looking at the monumental crater she created. The crater had started to fill with water from the ceiling and the castle guards flooded around the edge of the crater. Kiera watched them lazily, then looked to her hands. The gauntlet was gone. The gauntlet was gone. Sean's eyes were peeled. Kiera suddenly fainted again, and fell off the great earth pillar in the center of the crater and tumbled straight to the bottom where she laid in the dirt and water.

*Shortstraw suddnly found himself jumping up. He wanted to go see somthing... but as he walked he got tried. He slowed when he reached the door. Sadly, he couldn't go anywhere right now, what happened before took alot out of him. And then there was the fight... he needed sleep. H elooked back to the bed, "But i don't think i can fall alseep that easy... without her..."

Once the situation was contained, and Kiera was seized, she was taken back to her chambers, and locked in her room. Sean's father did not allow Sean to go in there, either. In fear of his life. In short, the king announced to everyone that a great power had been unleashed in the girl, and that she had to be contained, otherwise she would start ripping everything up around her. Kiera now laid unconscious once more in her bed, experiencing bad dreams as her face contorted many ways. The king held an emergency meeting, as everyone else had already started to mend the hall. Now he sat there with his son and the rest of the council, discussing what to do next. "Letting her free is not an option. Who knows what she would do in the unstable state she's in." Sean budged in to speak. "Do you think we should inform king Yuji? Or high princess Eve. They might be able to help her. Understand what's happening." The king thought about it for a moment. "That might be an option." The hand of the king spoke next. "If we cannot calm her, then what nation do you suppose can? We are the best thing that girl needs right now. We can tame her." The king shook his head. "The power is unfathomable. Even for us. We cannot simply 'tame' it like it's some beast. This is nothing we've been presented with before." He looked to his whisperer. "Do we have any knowledge on the gauntlet she wore?" The whisperer nodded respectfully. "Yes, my lord. My birds told me the item she wore was a Time Manipulation Device. It is based off an incredibly unstable item that can only be harnessed by a handful of people, and used by the greatest. I trust you know of it's abilities." The king nodded. "This is a very big problem. She's fused with it."

*Shortstraw found himself alseep untill he heard somthing hit the window again. He shied and looked out it, but it wasn't soflora this time. Instead another pepple hit the window, below was Veria. And she looked alittle shaken up. He opened the window and jumped out, landing next to her, "you okay?" She nodded, "I vary much hope you are. I feel something new presented vary far away. Something powerful. Though... i'm uncertain." He made a face, "how comei don't feel it then?" She leaned in, "she's not your sister." His eye widened, "you think it's keria?" She shied, "i do not know. I am even unsure it is safe to take you. For this time alone, i will let you lead. And you decide." Shortstraw thought about it...*
