Alfred F. Jones Hero *best junior ever* Alfred was a little insulted at Cali's comment. "What does it look like I'm standing at?" He crossed his arms. Such an unassuming comment yet it still struck a cord. In fact it almost made him want to leave. It might not have been the flashyist of booths but he had gotten there late. He tilted his head down caseing his glasses to glint and hide his eyes.

"What?" Indeed, when Landon glanced up, he saw yet another American flag waving boldly in the sky. He debated pointing out the absurdity of Alfred hoping to stand out with their overused flags and generalities when six others shared many of the same features, but decided against it. America was being unusually testy right now, and he didn't want to push the nation much farther. Even his devil's luck could only carry him so far. "Uh... Of course! How could I not recognize your glorious booth, boss? Silly me!" California gave a weak, self-deprecating chuckle that he did not feel, wondering yet again how the Union could make him feel so awkward. If only he had looked up a minute prior... Mildly worried now, Landon tried another tack. "I really like your booth, Al!" he complimented. "It's very neutral; a brilliant contrast to our loud and garish displays! Great idea, as usual!" California rather disliked having to belittle himself, but it was an inconveniently necessary evil since he seemed to have accidentally insulted his nation. (phone)

Alfred F. Jones Hero *best junior ever* Al did not let up his glare, in fact it only worsened. He was ust to this kind of thing expesaly from Mexico, but he was not going to tolerate it from a state. "I may be blond but I'm not an idiot! You really think I don't know when someones is being sarcastic? It may not be as flashy as I would like but it serves it's perpouse. Not like anyone is gona come over here anyway, no one cares about that I have to say. I wasn't even planing on comeing and now I'm starting to think I shouldn't have." Surprisingly Al kept a strait face during his little rant. But he was far more hurt then before, to think that one of his own thought he was a stupid child. He hated false praze more then losseing, you could always have a rematch but nothing could unsay harsh words.

California's jaw dropped. How dare America think him full of sarcasm and lies? He had honestly meant his compliment about neutrality, and this was what he got? Awkward or not, he was straightening this record right away! "Hey! That wasn't sarcastic!" Landon huffed, propping his hand on his hips. "Seriously, it's a lot better for you to have a neutral booth than a loud one like all of ours! Just the fact that it's neutral makes it stand out! Many of our own larger displays have backfired and ended up being a waste of our precious time and effort. Look at everyone's food! It's all sitting and getting cold! No matter what you think, I honestly think it was actually a smart decision to cut the crap and just be you! Surely I've been in the Union long enough for you of all people to tell when I'm being honest?" The Californian stared unhappily and imploringly at England and Massachusetts, hoping that at least one of them had seen that that much of his earlier statements had been true and back him up. There are 3 rules in this school 1. Don't run in halls 2. Get along with everyone 3. Survival of the fittest Arthur Kirkland Student Vice President Member of the Disciplinary Committee The Junior GentlemanEngland sighed in annoyance. He had honestly not meant anything by calling the state a runt but a mere slip of the tongue. "Fine." he huffed, wanting the subject to be dropped. Though he did feel a bit better knowing that he would finally stop getting called 'lobsterback'... hopefully. Arthur did turn to see California and Connecticut at the booths. Not that he was exactly thrilled to see them but it was still nice to see stop by. Perhaps they could entertain Leah and Alfred a bit. "Hello." The blonde didn't mind stepping back for the Americans to converse as he continued to place a few more small details to his booth. Though it did irk him overhearing New England getting called 'stuffy' for living closer towards Europe. Were they seriously having this kind of discussion now? It sadden him that he had done so well on teaching the once British Colonies proper mannerisms for it all to go to waste. Some of the states kept certain manners, while others kept proper speech, etc. Then America stepped in to break off the quarrel, however in all honesty he shouldn't of just gotten on Massy about bragging, nor should he have lost his temper over such a silly predicament. Hadn't he once boasted about his 'amesome american movies' at a nations meeting before? Things only continued to go down hill as Landon did his best to please his nation. Finally, the British junior stepped in literally between them, his discipline committee mode activated. "That's enough. No more!." he said firmly to all of them. He waited for a moment to where they each hushed up and paid attention to him. If they interject he would glare and treat them to leave the festival for the rest of the event. "I do believe I stated not that long ago that 'I am not interested in settling quarrels' and 'this is to be a safe and fun event for students interested in other cultures.' If there are conflicts, I'd ask you take it elsewhere." He gave them each a meaning full look in their eyes to show that he was serious and would act on it without a second thought before speaking again. "Now Alfred, I do not know what has gotten your panties in a twist, but I will talk to you later." He faced toward the other two blonde. "I suggest you two head back to your booths now unless you want detention."(Out of Tea: )

You could travel the world, But nothin' comes close, To the golden coast! Once you party with u-us, you'll be fallin' in love! ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ Well. That verbal tirade certainly stopped Alfred in his tracks. Landon smirked and was about to continue telling his boss off when Arthur stepped in in full disciplinary fury.
Such was the force of the first negatory statement England uttered that even California, with his building snarky comments about how he was not to blame for starting this--although that in itself was debatable--halted, glaring without much anger at the gentleman he himself had called stuffy just two days ago. Perhaps it took one to know one?
As England continued, Landon silently cheered. The Briton had asked exactly the question he himself had not the guts to! He could have kissed Arthur if not for his final threat of detention for him and Massachusetts.
The Californian could have argued, but he did not want to add another detention to his list. Now that the festival was beginning to close, he could see with unsettling clarity the several other punishments laid out for him, Rutilio, and Kartlos by Germany. As if spending one full day on campus cleanup wasn't enough! Wisely, Landon held his tongue and turned to leave.
"Okey-dokey! Whatever you say, boss!" he chirped brightly, giving Arthur a two-fingered salute. "Nice talking to y'all, and I'm off!" With a cocky wave at the two nations and lone state, Landon hightailed it back to his booth.
He did not linger there, though, for he had suddenly been seized with an irresistible wanderlust. Landon's gaze drifted over to the other states, who had more or less clumped around Georgia's both, and he debated coming over there. He did not want to see Christian or Rutilio, but too many of his siblings were there to make it a good idea to shun the booth. Shrugging, he headed on over.
"Hi, guys!" Landon greeted them as he approached. "This is quite a party you got here! How come no one invited me?"

Alfred F. Jones Hero *best junior ever* Alfred pouted and looked away. He couldn't help it if Cali always sounded sarcastic. He was just in one of his odd moods. The American had the bad habit of channeling sadness into rage. It was probably the fact he had to deal with so many of his states all at once. Such close proxsimaty was messing with his head he needed to calm down. So he sat down on his stool and took out his smokes lighting one up and takeing a long drag.

Cherelle giggled at Andrew's response to her kisses. It was so adorable how innocent he was! "Two cheek kisses don't really count as making out." She told him. "It's just a greeting!"

Emil Steilsson ☂ The Freezing Junior ☂ Emil felt his attention span slowly running thin. His focus was completely away from the fellow students in front of him. This was probably due to the fact that he was not used to not using the Internet. Once his laptop is taken away from him, the Icelander tended to space out. This was one terrible time to do so. Emil blinked when he heard his name, almost dropping his sword out of his hands. "Hvað? O-Oh, um, sorry 'bout that." His platinum blonde head shook up slightly. *"I've meet Italy before. Not personally, but I've still meet him in a way, I guess." The Icelander shifted his blue, lavender ringed eyes to the Italian, offering a half smile. "Nice to meet you, Italy."

The State of Tennessee ☀Andrew S. Hickory☀ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Andrew blinked at Seychelles in confusion as if that was nothing short of crazy talk to him. Weren't kisses supposed to be personal things? Why would you just give them away to someone when you were greeting them? It was practically unheard of... but he supposed it wasn't completely out there. Tennessee had seen movies before where rich or upper class cultured people would do something similar so maybe they were imitating French culture? "So... it's normal to just kiss like that?" he asked uncertainly. "You don't kiss everybody... right?" He struggled very hard not to sound worried (or jealous) that she might be kissing on other boys even if it was something as innocent as a greeting. ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Grade 9 The Volunteer <> <>

 Seychelles Cherelle Petit Freshman
Cherelle looked at Andrew, unsure why he was confused. It was simply a couple kisses on the cheek. What was not to understand. It seemed so simple to her, but maybe she just didn't quite understand Americans yet. "Yeah, pretty much!" She said with a shrug. But then in his next question it was hard for her not to notice the jealously and worry in his voice and she understood completely. She felt a little bad now, and worded her response carefully. "Well not everyone... just... sometimes. And since it's the multicultural festival I figured it made since to do it now!" But then, she decided to attempt to explain it better to Andrew. "Kisses mean a lot more when they're on the lips. With cheek kisses they're less... personal, I guess." She smiled at him, hoping she got her point across.
