Ray smiled happily as he went to wake his dad who was sitting up in the tent already,

"Morning dad Alpha told me to wake you for breakfast!" he said as he and his father entered the camper. John didn't even question the toy mouse in his sons hands. Both men sat down at the table looking forward to the bacon and waffles.

((sorry for making you wait I'm planning my parents anniversary surprise biggrin ))

John smiled as he got the butter and syrup from the fridge, his mouth watering at the smell of the food. The older man looked at his pack mates already feeling that his wife was close to waking up from her own coma. He missed her Aberdeen accent.

"This smells good Katriel!" he said happily as he saw Ray trying to keep a good distance away from Leon, "I'm sure we will enjoy it" he continued taking a couple of the each item of food and giving it to Ray before gathering his own.

((I'm cooking them a three course meal and baking a cake!))

John and Ray happily ate their meals in silence both knew that neither would have a second helping as neither had stomachs large enough accommodate too much food. They did feel a little cramped and wondered how much longer they would be within the camper. As John expected Ray was finished his meal first and sneaking away from the table within minutes of the food being served.

"That was lovely thank you Katriel and Leon" The youngest pack member said taking his cuppa and toy mouse with him. He simply went to sit on the floor near by the table.

Ray and John smiled at their alpha as she began to drive, the stayed in the main part of the camper simply getting to know the other all over again. For John it was good to see that Ray still liked the odd footie match and was still going to support Liverpool despite Torres being in Chelsea now.

Ray for his part enjoyed learning all about the family and the family history. Though it would seem pretty uneventful until the attack on the village. The winds didn't bother John though they did scare Ray a little. Both men were glad that Katriel was trying so hard to stay on the road.

John smiled and nodded at Katriel as he looked at the sky, "do you think there'll be thunder and lightening?" he asked his alpha holding onto Ray. They were happy to be in the wilds but they weren't happy to be stuck in a storm. Storms had been bad enough back in Britain for them as the flashes of the light and the sounds of the booming thunder would send Ray crying to his mothers arms in tears.

Ray shivered in slight fear at the mention of a possible thunderstorm, he had been fearful of them for as long as he could remember. The store made it worse as the Manager would tie him up outside of the store during a thunderstorm. He would be tied with metal chains to a metal pole... it amazed him that he was never seriously hurt during those times. He shivered again and looked at Katriel with pleading eyes, he was pleading with her to tell him that there wouldn't be any thunder or lightening. He didn't think that he'd be able to cope with any flashbacks that the lightening and thunder would give him.

Ray whimpered at the sound that there may be an 'occasional rumble', hail and sleet he could deal with but not thunder and lightening. He tried to smile at Katriel, failing miserably.
"I would thank you Alpha" Ray said trying to stop himself from shaking too much.

Ray nodded at the sound of Katriel making food,he still didn't like the idea of being stuck inside for so long! He looked at Leon as the man had spoken to him and paled at the sound of tranks. Was the man seriously not thinking? In what sane mind would not consider that he wasn't drugged back in the store so that he was 'manageable'? The manage would only drug him when women wished to rent him for an hour or two.

"why would you want to trank me Leon?" Ray asked him his trembling increasing rather than decreasing at the suggestion. He paled at the thought of Leon and Katriel making plans to use him though with his father there he doubted that they would do such a thing. Still one never knew what went through the minds of others.
