Demona the Exiled hanyou "Not really a demon; not really human.... Demona yawned and she opened her eyes hearing the villagers start to become more lively and she got up sensing that dawn was soon and she looked toward the lightened sky and she was ready to turn hanyou again. She could sense there were new people in the village but she remained to keep her distance from them not trusting any of them human or demon. She longed to transform out of this body and become stronger in her hanyou one. She waited for the sun to rise eagerly though she could still feel her wounded arm throb in pain. In a way she wanted to be accepted but her feral behavior kept her away from them. Her loose long black hair blew in the breeze and she closed her eyes knowing she was going to be hanyou again. Demona sensed something familiar and grabbed her sword before running to Kaede's hut, "Kaede the sun is going to rise soon and is there another hanyou here?" she asked almost excitedly. The female hanyou was beaming in excitement that the sun was rising and that she would possibly be with another hanyou to help with her feral behavior.
....I'm not either. That's all."

 Koto was settled back at listening to everything that was being said. He watched Tomo give a small nod. "It seems then that the bow has taken in the soul of the girl and she has become one with the bow. It is now lost." Tomo's voice was sad as he spoke. The old man rose up, clapping Masato on his shoulder. "That is all I wished to speak with you about my boy. Now why don't you help me back to Kaede's hut so that I can rest and you may have a moment to rest as well."
Koto watched Tomo lead Masato away. Rising, he himself headed back into Kaede's hut. Moving, he lifted Touga into his arms, giving a faint look over to Rin before exiting the hut. He darted toward the trees, missing the arrival the girl that had been near the village. He knew she had gone by but didn't bother too much just yet. He had to train Touga now as much as possible so his Lady wouldn't punish him too harshly for disobeying her orders. Stopping by Goshinboku, he smelled old blood from a battle that happened not that long ago. Setting Touga by the tree, he watched him return to his hanyou form. Good, it would make things easier. Pulling on his shadow energy, he infused the pup with it to give him a boost.
Kaede made a hushing motion toward Daemona. "As far as I know there are no hanyous that arrived here recently. Just humans and one fox. Perhaps the fox will know of what ye speak of child. He took one of the humans out toward the edge of the trees."

Demona the Exiled hanyou "Not really a demon; not really human.... She saw the sun rise and her body pulsed three times and her eyes turned red and the once black hair turned silver again as the sunlight streamed into the hut. Demona's ears turned back into her normal silver dog ears and her demon strength returned as she stood there in front of Kaede as a hanyou once more. Her sense of hearing and smell returned as well, "I smell another half demon" she said sniffing the air, "He's around here somewhere" Ice blue eyes flashed with more energy then before as she turned towards the door of the hut, "I'm going to look for this half demon I'll be back later" she said walking out with her hand on her sword handle contently before taking off in a full run disappearing into the forest following her sense of smell. Demona leaped through the treetops loving every part of being a half demon over being human. She stopped quickly and sat in a tree where she was hidden when she found Touga and Koto. She just watched them with ears perked and showed interest in the half demon child.

Masato Tanaka
Go Shikigami!  His attention drew to the bow in his grasp, the thought of a soul to become the bow itself would mean that the soul wasn't among the living anymore and now has infused with the weapon itself. To protect the bow, the living spirit no longer exists and has led him to no longer protect the bow. That would be expect to the thought of those who set their minds of fulfilling their purpose. His thoughts over this bow would still require his protection over the relic of the past, even with the girl gone. He would still bear this responsibility entrusted to him by Hotaru. There was no need to question this responsibility as he would follow his own way, his own choice to protect it. His hand tightened its grip. His own decision absolute in mind that he would take care of this old bow. His thought to use the bow as his own would be beneficial, however he never held one before. He seen its use, but he didn't have the skill to use it. So far, he had been using his Shikigami as his main offense. He would use it if he could, but that wouldn't be possible and stick to the 'fighting style' this whole time.
A sudden clasp to his shoulder, divert his attention to Tomo. His words to be certain and spoke no more. Giving the notion to taking a rest back in Kaede's hut, he couldn't help but assist the old man. He waved to Koto and lead the old man back to Kaede's hut, guiding him till they reach their destination. He bowed to Tomo and parted from him to attend ti his goals for today. First would be getting a bath and, of course, he would need a place to bathe and some spare clothes so that he could have his own wear to also be washed. The sound of claws digging into the ground crept up behind him, forcing him to turn and spot his Shikigami present once again. Masato didn't pay much attention and made his way to search for Kaede or someone who can lend him so clothing before he could go bathe. He turned around and entered the hut, strangely he thought there was another presence other than Kaede and Koto around. Perhaps just imagining things or just not paying attention no less. He proceeded to speak to the village head. "Kaede, do you have any spare clothing? I don't have any of my own since I came here and wanting to take a bath. Any men's clothing by any chance?" An embarrassed chuckle escaped, knowing that this was the Feudal Era there weren't any washing machines to wash his clothes. He would just have do it by hand, it wouldn't matter, but it'll take some time till they're clean and dried.Location - Kaede's Village

Kaede chuckled softly. Going into a spare room, she pulled a pair of priest clothes out and brought them to Masato. "These be a bit older than most of the clothing now but they will work." The clothes were cleaned and smelled fresh so that was what mattered. Placing the clothing in his arms, she shooed him away.

Its been a few hours since they've arrived back in Priestess Kaede's village, Touga has spent some time sleeping, resting off his injuries from that final battle in the shadow realm. He'd awakened with a need to relieve himself. The medical treatment had been renued it seemed by another skilled healer. He is lucky he didn't have any broken bones. Just burns. He had only one bad gash in his side and that is packed with stuffing and well bandaged. He is still human, it shouldn't be long before he regains his demonic blood. And when he does these injuries should be gone within another couple of hours after changing back.
He opened his dark pine colored eyes then flinched a bit as the daylight penetrated his vision. He had been sleeping in the hut, but now he was propped up against a tree in the woods. He shouldn't be moved around a lot until his injuries healed. He felt a feint but certain and familiar thrum of energy and knew that his period of being human is about to end. These injuries would be able to heal up quicker. That is until something happened as though he had been given a shot of caffiene...or electricity....or something. Whatever it was he started with shock at the sudden thick wave of energy that jolted his small body, for an instance he nearly turned yokai from the jump-start of energy...his burns had been healed by it and his gash suddenly seemed like it was an insignificant scratch then a couple of inches of flesh removed. "W-what was...huh........???" he wasn't fully a half-demon yet and he'd been mostly regenerated by the rush of energy. Puzzled and bewildered he looked dumbfounded and disoriented.

Demona the Exiled hanyou "Not really a demon; not really human.... Demona remained in the tree and crouched on the branch watching attentively though kept her distance. Her white dog ears perked and swiveled toward something in the distance distracted her causing her to look away from the hanyou child. She was still injured from the demon that attacked the village and now that she was demon again she hardly noticed the pain from her bandaged sword arm. Demona settled back down on the branch in a crouching stance but her sword clanked against the wood as she shifted position and nearly made her fall out of the tree. She knew she would be found and this time she would face her fears and distrust of humans but this would be the only way to gain acceptance into the village. The female shook some of the left over dust from her hair and clothes that remained from the battle with the demon. She leaped down out of the tree and walked toward Touga silver hair shimmering in the sunlight showing no signs of being a human anymore wanting to let him know that she was nothing to fear at all. The scar over her left eye was hidden behind her bangs and she looked at them, "I won't hurt you young one" she said, "I am glad to see another half demon like me in the village since the rest is mostly human villagers." Demona moved closer and held her right hand out to him speaking in a gentle tone, "Shifting back from human form isn't so bad when you get used to it." she said kneeling down.
....I'm not either. That's all."

Just as the final shifts to Touga's appearance ended, there isn't a big difference between his hanyo self and his human self. His hair is naturally black so the only shifts are his ears, his eyes, teeth and claws; appearance wise. His human ears replaced by little puppy ears, his canines grew a little longer, his nails grew into claws and his deep pine colored eyes brightened out to a golden emerald color with specks of blue and black in the hues. And because of the unexpected power boost that Koto just handed him, his injuries are mostly healed. All of those bad burns were just gone, and his side no longer felt tender. He'd been expecting to wait for another few hours at least till his natural regenerative properties healed the injuries normally. He shook his head as if to rid himself of the sudden buzz in his skin and in his head. The energy boost had been magic, magic of his sort, so it came from the fox. He scratched his shoulder and fixed the fox with a somewhat wary look. "Er...thanks I guess...what was the rush though? It's not like we're going to be in danger so soon right...?" Why else would Koto give him enough of energy to regenerate faster if there was going to be trouble shortly?
A splintering of branches and twigs announced a new comer to their location. The sound caused Touga to instinctively jump to his feet warily as an unfamiliar scent came with the sound. The source of it turned out to be a woman, she bore similar resemblance to Inuyasha if only in the silvery hair and dog ears. Geeze there are a lot of dog breed half demons around aren't there? But as far as he knew there was only himself and Inuyasha as the dog half-breeds anywhere. So the sight and scent of a woman dog half-demon caused his ears to perk up and though he felt wary, a sense of curiosity came over him as well. She didn't seem to have much interest for Koto, but rather him. Perhaps for the same reasons that he felt curious about? She carried a fanged sword at her side much like Inuyasha does, his eyes only glanced at the weapon but felt no immediate threat from her, he'd been training with Inuyasha and Koaga alike, learning to use his youki which for him is harder to do then blending it with the elements to use his magic. Learning to fight and trust his instincts. He didn't feel threatened by her, but she is a stranger none the less.
"I won't hurt you young one" she said, assuring him that she means him no threat, if she had then not only would he have defended himself then Koto would have disarmed her just as quickly. "I am glad to see another half demon like me in the village since the rest is mostly human villagers." So judging by that statement she is new around here, though that seemed readily obvious since he'd never seen her before. She is trying to be friendly, she said some odd things though, moving nearer to him to kneel down to his eye level, offering him a hand but there had been no need to help him up. "Shifting back from human form isn't so bad when you get used to it." At that he raised a brow skeptically, seriously? You'd think that that was his first time through his human cycle once a month. "uuuuh...huh. Who are you...?" He hadn't taken her hand

Demona the Exiled hanyou "Not really a demon; not really human.... She smiled softly but it showed her uneasiness around others fearing they would attack or run her out of the village just as the others had done. When Touga asked her who she was she answered, "Demona a hanyou from the Southeastern Dog demon clan" she said softly, "I was exiled because I was the first in line for the leadership." She still showed her feral behavior but she couldn't help it but hopefully if she was accepted into the village it would go away. Demona looked at Tomo remembering the monk whom she growled at after she woke up from the demon attack. She sat on the ground near him and pulled her sleeve up revealing bandages wrapped around her left arm and started to take them off since they were already healing with the help of her demon blood. She pulled the bandages off and looked pleased that her arm was now usable again, "Ahh that's better" she said moving her sleeve down and for a split moment the scar over her left eye became visible as the sign of a exile.

Koto watched as the half demon appeared before them. She had waited until she had changed back. As Touga woke and looked at him, speaking, he didn't bother answering right away. He wanted to wait until this girl decided something. Leaning back against the tree, he studied Touga's interactions with her.
After she introduced herself, he decided to step in. My Lord, best you rise up from the ground." It was a fact. As Touga was the current heir of the Southern Lands, he was a Lord or a prince. Whichever one worked. Focusing on the girl, he studied her. "Young Lady, it is a pleasure to meet you. I know you will be looked on favorably for protecting these lands as its current guardian is away on business. I am Hakoto, General of the Southern Lands. This is Touga, heir to the Southern Lands. You say you are from the southeastern dog clan?" Koto snorted darkly. "I always thought that blowhard would be an idiot."
Focusing on Touga, he spoke once more. "As for you wake up call My Lord, it was needed simply because we need to begin your training today. I have been lax in these past weeks but perhaps that had been a benefit." Glancing at Demona, he studied her. "You may stay for the time being should you wish to."

"Demona a hanyou from the Southeastern Dog demon clan" The woman spoke softly in response to his query for her name. She then explained that she had been kicked out of her clan for being next in line for leadership. Sounds about right, half-demons are looked down upon most everywhere. Touga felt some sympathy for her. "My Lord, best you rise up from the ground." His brow twitched along with one of his ears at the oh soo formal tone Koto used in addressing him. Did he just call him 'my lord'!? Any immediate thought of being confused for a nobleman made him want to gag. The thought is fueled partly because of how he came to know his b*****d father, and Sesshomaru during their journey in the shadow realm. And it is partly a rub off reaction from spending a lot of time around Inuyasha and Kouga.
Koto studied Demona after she introduced herself to them then spoke again, his tone increasingly...unessisiarly formal. "Young Lady, it is a pleasure to meet you. I know you will be looked on favorably for protecting these lands as its current guardian is away on business. I am Hakoto, General of the Southern Lands. This is Touga, heir to the Southern Lands. You say you are from the southeastern dog clan?" Touga made a face as though he had swallowed something very tart. What reality had this guy been in when Inuyasha had accepted him as part of the his pack???? He like Lady Hotaru, don't get him wrong but...she didn't spend all that time with him to bond properly with him. He doesn't think he'd feel at home in a rich palace. Staying with Inuyasha and being a member of his pack in the rugged outdoors is...more to him.
"As for you wake up call My Lord, it was needed simply because we need to begin your training today. I have been lax in these past weeks but perhaps that had been a benefit." The boy furrowed his brows at the words 'begin his training'. He crossed his arms and plucked himself disobiediantly back down on the ground childishly. "Oi what's with the formality all of a sudden?? We traveled in the same group for weeks and you hadn't once starting calling me my lord. What training? I've been training with Inuyasha and Kouga already......and..." he trailed off glancing at Demona, then away again. It really isn't her business. He glanced at Koto uncertainty and away again growing a bit uncomfortable.
"I...wanna stay with Inuyasha...he said that I was Pack..." Touga spoke in a very small voice not meeting the general's eyes, he didn't want to be a Lord anymore.

She wondered if she too would be accepted by this Inuyasha she heard so much about. She still didn't trust Koto and she growled at him for the disrespect towards her and Touga, "Pardon me?!" she said feeling insulted, "I'm not some blowhard have some respect!" She knew that she would have to challenge the one who exiled her and win to become the rightful heir as her mother wanted. Even as a exiled princess she wanted nothing more then acceptance and respect. Demona rested her left hand on her sword hilt, "If he doesn't want to train he shouldn't have to" she said already growling at Koto angrily. She softened when she looked at Touga she was reminded of when she was his age but the memory of being sealed in the storage room caused her to shiver. She felt the need to defend Touga even when she didn't really have to her it was some closure to what had happened to all those years ago when she wasn't protected.

Koto rolled his eyes. He swore under his breath softly. Between these two, he had a feeling that he was going to have a blast. Dismissing the girl for the moment, he focused on Touga. "Inuyasha may have brought you into his pack yes but until you tell Lady Hotaru that you do not wish to be her heir, you are stuck as such. Also, I thought you wanted to expand your knowledge of your shadow magic as well as some of your physical strength. The wolf and Inuyasha may have started your training but they are not here to continue it. As heir to the Southern Lands, until you speak with Lady Hotaru, you are a Lord or a Prince. If you feel much more comfortable with me talking to you as I would one of my own soldiers, so be it." Koto's eyes glittered with mirth. The boy would be fun indeed. He'd have to learn.
Focusing on the girl, he raised a brow at her. "Young Lady, Nothing of which I have spoken to you has been anything insulting. If anything, I was disgusted by the creature that could possibly be called your mother's second. That filth should never have been given the position of power he was given. Had that fool been wise, he would have sent you to the Southern Lands as was ordered immediately after your mother's death. I was still fairly young then myself but still. As for his training, he wanted this training from the beginning. Unless you'd like to be given the training that you were never taught, I suggest you hold your tongue Princess. You may be next in line but the fact of the matter is, you have yet to stand up and take back what is yours." Koto's eyes were hard. This child would get nothing from him as long as she remained a child and acted as a child. She claimed to want respect and yet she refused to earn it. As a youkai, one earned their respect. It wasn't simply given. She would have to learn this if she truly wanted her clan back because they would not stand by no matter whose daughter she was if she didn't earn her respect and respect her betters as well as her elders.
((Just a little bit of fun. I figured since her clan is Southeast, Hotaru would know of that specific clan as she would have kept in contact with all the clans even during her own exile so that way they would help her if it was needed and vice versa. She could possibly have a faint memory when she first meets Hotaru of her and her mother meeting in secret or something when she was a kid. I dunno, up to you.))

Go Shikigami! Kaede had gone through the back of the hut, Masato stood there patiently until she had returned with spare clothing. He smiled as the robes were placed into his arms, but before he could give thanks, she had already sent him away from the hut. It was for the best and he didn't bother in reply for her to suddenly push him away. Now that he had them, it was time to venture out to go take a bath. He wandered into the forest, there was a river there that he could bathe himself in. A few minutes had passed or that what it felt at the moment, he came across the river he was looking for. Once he was out in the opening, he scanned the area. Empty, there wasn't a soul present except for his Shikigami... He turned behind him, a curious expression crept out from him. Where were those spirits? They usually followed him wherever he went, but this was a first that they vanished on him. Well, it's nothing to worry about...
Splash.
Masato followed the sound towards the river. Ripples traveled and bounced off against the rocks, breaking into smaller ripples. His eyes became fixated where the ripples of water left off, he couldn't be imagining things, something had to be there. Suddenly a small shadow reflected off the water, the shallow abyss that the shadow resided was coming at a steady speed. The small shadow emerged from the water, leaving Masato startled from its sudden appearance. When he realized who it was presently, it was one of his Shikigami, soaking from falling into the river. The little spirit shook the damp fur, water spraying all over leaving him slightly soaked. The spirit tilted its head and mewed before crossing the stone steps across the river to meet the other Shikigami who had stationed itself on a large boulder. Masato rubbed the back of his head, the sudden scare of a yokai here was just his spirits."If that was an actual demon, It would be difficult to get some privacy the next time I go..." He spoke under his breath.
With no one in hind sight, he removed his clothing and tossed them over to a nearby boulder with the bow, he walked and descended into the river. He sighed and smiled, a bath finally from that whole rescue party traveling. He begin to washed himself from head to toe, wishing that he had some soap or shampoo then he would be content. He studied his surroundings, the beauty of the forest as he could see them and the river that flows peacefully into the distance. His eyes followed up to the blue sky, clouds that drifted one by one. Everything reminded him back in his world, well except he couldn't do this sort of thing, but the beauty of it was all there was to remind him. He did wish for his return, but for the meantime he had to remain here till he would have figure out how to get home. His gaze shifted to his Shikigami who crossed the stepping stones once more to the opposite bank. "Hey." The two Shikigami paused and looked over to him. Their black eyes staring back at him, aware of his presence. He approach them, his waist still beneath the water. The three of them stared at each other, it was strange as if the spirits themselves could read his thoughts or even his soul.
Silence was among them, a breeze lifted as it grazed his wet skin. He paid no attention to the elements around him, but continue to hold his gaze. Recalling Tomo's words. "The original fox was first created as a way of protection. It sacrificed itself to keep you safe. These two are the same." Then Hotaru's words were repeated after. "They will always be there to guide you as well as protect you." He closed his eyes and smiled. "Thank you, for being by my side." The two foxes held their gazes momentarily and then stared at one another, both skittered across the stepping stones to the shoreline. Masato reached to the bank and dried himself off, he reached over to his new attire and put them on. Now he felt like a part of this era, but the sleeves covered his hands were a bit long. Shrugging out the small detail, he folded his remaining clothes and carried them with the bow in hand heading back to the village. With his return, he found a spot and settled himself underneath a tree. He soon fell into sleep, exhausted from his journey.Location - Kaede's Village

Touga glared hotly at Koto who rolled his eyes at his outburst, Demona also got snippish with the fox general, defending him. though she didn't need to. Koto returned his look before speaking, "Inuyasha may have brought you into his pack yes but until you tell Lady Hotaru that you do not wish to be her heir, you are stuck as such. When the guy pointed out his desires to strengthen his magic he closed his mouth on an objection. "I do...should have said so." he grumbled, but made a face again at the 'lord and prince' crap. "Keep calling me a lord and we'll see how Rin likes your appearance by morning..." he threatened with a growl, considering numerous pranks he could do to re-arrange Koto's features with...or recolor them or...maybe make illusions that stick to him or...or something.
