(20 - 3 + 15 - 18 = 14dmg + frz)
Those fangs would tear into her with enough force that she felt herself crunched. her armour breaking against those jaws as her sands were lost in his mouth. This was becoming a bad situation as her body felt another change happen as the icy hold of those fangs started to spread over her body until she herself was incased in ice ...from her head to her feet.
she was quite helplessly at that moment.

[CRITICAL! +1 to Genn's Attack Rolls!]Relaxing his jaw, the Steelix would release his hold upon the Durant for a moment, allowing himself to rear upon and look upon her ice coated form. He had witnessed this sight only a few times since his evolution, but it was indeed an interesting one to behold. A creature encased entirely in ice from head to thorax.
Well, he supposed the battle wasn't a total loss if he got to see something new; and indeed it seemed he would.
Slapping his tail against the ground, the Steelix closed his mouth this time. Adjusting the angle of his shovel shaped head, Genn lunged forward, thrusting all his weight forward as he moved to crash his girth into the frozen Durant. It was a Tackle, simply and straightforward. There was no need for anything else this time.

It was a true statement as she would start again. She would start to use Bide as she tries to make it so that any attack against her would find itself with a very painful conclusion ....as she gathers the power around herself. The very force seemingly to make her shimmer.

-1 TO STUNFISKS ATTACK ROLLS!Though the energy to muster up the bide would never come. Erion took a deep breath. Now that his mind was clear, he looked at the Stunfisk. Ah, it didn't look so dazed as before, maybe...
His throat rumbled, and his mouth shot open as he let out another intense Supersonic. If it hurt itself with Bide, then that would just be splendid, would it not?

The sound was something that could easily confuse again as the ....Stunfisk would seemingly gather the mud around her. She would press them towards her ears with her fins ...or at least make the attempt as she simply flick them up and over herself. If she could only drown out that sound ...it would work to her advantage ..or least that was her hope.

And it would work, too! The watered down dirt was compiled and compressed in such a way that it blocked out the high frequencies that usually sent one spiraling. This was much to Erions annoyance, the Aerodactul sweeping his tail on the ground. So much, in fact, he'd like to try again.
and thats exactly what he did. Keeping his mouth open, he raised the pitch now as he countered with another Supersonic

((With all due respect Lunar, I believe you have made a mistake in that last post. 38 EXP isn't possible even if that Durant had been level 3. sweatdrop ))
((According to the usual site the Experience gained should be about 116 EXP each. 116 for Genn since he actually won the fight, and 116 EXP for Fable due to participation; since, although he was taken out in the first turn, he did in fact participate in the battle and had regained conciousness before the battles end.))

Lv 5 ----> Lv 6 Starter Pokemon: Charmander [M] Name & Level: Fable, Lv 6 [Temperament] Quiet Bio: Raven first met Fable during his time living on the streets, finding the fire-tailed reptile in one of hundreds of alleys he'd been in. Battered, beaten, and bloodied, it was clear the Charmander had seen it's fair share of battles...and lost every single one. He bit Raven only five seconds after their initial encounter. Fable had lost all trust in humanity. Raven was never fully aware of the details, but the Charmander's former trainer had been abusive. He'd placed him in battles with impossible odds, expecting him to combat and defeat opponent after opponent with little to no rest...and when he lost, it was his trainer whom would personally add to the reptiles injuries. Finally tired of wasting his time on "some worthless newt" his trainer had abandoned him in the dirtiest alleyway he could find and just left him there. The boy hadn't even given him a name...at least not one he cared to repeat. For days after that first encounter Raven returned to the alley, usually meeting with the same result; yet still he kept coming, sometimes he even brought food. It was generally scraps most likely out of the garbage, but it was food none the less. One day the Charmander finally asked why the child kept returning...not with words of course, but with his eyes. The curiosity at the boy's actions were clear in the reptiles gaze. Raven had said he saw a fire in Fables eyes that day when they first met, the desire to become truly powerful. More time passed after that, but the only thing which mattered after that point was the outcome. Even without a Pokeball the Charmander decided to follow the boy from that day forward, even earning the name Fable in the process. Raven would speak of spending the reward money on new clothes and a bath, but what was consistently leave out was the purchase of a single Pokeball. There was no need. Even without it, Fable would follow his trainer to the depths of hell and back. Stats: HP: 22/22, PP: 25, ATK: 13[14], DEF: 12, SPD: 12, SP-ATK: 15, SP-DEF: 12 MOVES:- Fire Punch - Growl Held Item: Muscle Feather EXP: 44/500 [YOUR GENN WANTS TO LEARN SCREECH; HOWEVER YOUR GENN ALREADY KNOWS 4 MOVES! An Area Guardian, his charge was evidently a Magnemite the boy had recently passed. Believing Raven a threat, the Onix attacked immediately. Raven seeing qualities he liked in the Pokemon, and after suffering some minor damage while battling against Fable, the Onix was quickly captured. An act he made no move to fight against. Quick to make his decisions, Genn rarely listens to Raven in battle, having chosen his next action before the child even has a moment to speak. Stats: HP: 26/26, PP: 23, ATK: 17, DEF: 27, SPD: 11, SP-ATK: 13, SP-DEF: 14 MOVES:- Tackle - Mud Sport - Ice Fang - Screech Held Item: EXP: 6/500 ((And I'll follow this up with Raven's next travel post since I don't want to stretch this out too far.))

Pulling his massive head away from the remains of the Durant, taking a moment to admire his handiwork. It was then a shudder would run throughout the Steelix, as a surge of power abruptly ran throughout his body.
Tilting his head back, Genn would let loose a deep, rumbling bellow; one which swiftly transformed into an ear splitting metallic Screech. Had Raven been even a second sooner in plugging his ears, they'd likely be bleeding at this point. It would seem Genn hard learned something new.
The Steelix wasn't alone however, as the reptilian roar of a Charmander followed by the sharp crackling of flames soon joined the cacophony. For an instant the flame on Fable's tail would near triple in size, a glint coming into his eyes. Yes, the Charmander had gained something from the battle...he had fallen, but he'd been able to learn from it. He needed to better watch his tail...and also...it seemed revival came with a rather bitter consequence all it's own.
Briefly, Fable shuddered at the thought of the Revival Herb. May he never have to experience that ever again. EVER.
Raven's eyes too would hold a brief, fiery glint. Though his ears remained covered for the moment, he was quite pleased with what he was seeing. Genn and Fable both had grown stronger. They were one step closer down the path of strength...now they only needed to take a few steps more.
At least for this stretch of their journey.
Recalling Fable, and then Genn, Raven would begin his racing through the trees anew. He could travel quicker with his Pokemon contained....

Cloak billowing behind him, Raven was no more then a red and black blur amidst the trees. Bounding off across the terrain, the boy's boots clacked against heavy stones and thick bark with every few steps. Indeed this place was significantly greener then one would normally imagine for a place by the name of Iron Island.
Stark gray stone, mixed with rust coloured soil. That was what he'd been expecting...and truth, that was what he had received before this place.
Yet, to produce such a contrast, the Pokemon here would need to be mighty...or at least, mightier then the village inhabitants combined. There were ways to keep such creatures at bay, but it would take a great force to move them...and a greater force to keep them here.
Surely any battle to be had here would be well worth it for any of his Pokemon... [EDIT:....ah biscuits.]

((Sorry for the abrupt inactivity. The last two days have been a doozy.)) The Aron simply bounced off of Blazes bulk of a body. The little thing wouldn't be too much of a challenge. Tounge flickering out, it lashed towards the Aron. If they used Incinerate they risked ruining the item they were after. A paralysis would do just as fine.

Though the Stunfisk was still determined to get Bide to work ....as she would use it again. The power curling around her ....as she would seemingly glow with that power ....it slowly yet surely intensifies. She was going to tear that Aerodactyl apart .....as she tries to ignore the supersonic and concentrate sole on getting her attack to work.

(You are right, so why did it ........oh well. Technical issues ...I thought that was strange))
A Scyther sat in the trees watches as the group passes underneath him. The durant was gone, and he could jump down to fight ...but he was a lax type. His only reason for being in this forest was it's exclusion of humans ....so if they came he would simply move on. There was no need to bother himself .....

Though the Aron wasn't done ...the moment that that tongue came out ...he saw his chance ...as he would counter-attack again. He would charge towards him and do a little hop as he would try to tackle the pokemon's tongue. If he couldn't get through that pokemon's skin he would trap the limb instead that was the weakest.
He already knew that such a thing wouldn't just be painful ...it would be terrifyingly painful.

Darting between the tree's, Raven was moving surprisingly swift for a human; or perhaps it simply looked that way due to the nature of his outfit. The boy's cloak continued to flutter behind him as he bounded through the forest, his boots leaving heavy footprints in his wake.
He hadn't met a single opponent as of yet; a rather odd thing when you really thought about it. With how swiftly he'd encountered the Durant one would have expected there to be more out here.
Well, no matter. It was just a matter of timing and the right opponent. A lackluster battle was hardly worth it.
