brooystart lazyactor didnt that little ranmaru kid hold the hanibi down or something? Ranmaru was the one that was able to Counter the Byakugan and other things. Yukimaru was the one that did that with the help of Kabuto. Yukimaru and Kabuto summoned the Sanbi.

Right I forgot the adding the Sanbi part... which was important. xD But, Yukimaru was able to keep it undercontrol for a short time.

Guren's crystals were able to resonate the "technique" he was using. Perhaps with my crystals someone can utilize a sound based jutsu and, through some unstated possible effect, increase the rank of that jutsu. But even if this was, in some way, the case, we would need to have a sound based genjutsu or jutsu in general to do anything.
And for the record, I have used Genjutsu on Bijuu before. It is possible.
