I live in Germany one time. back in the early 80s, when it was still divided into East and West... We had to travel over an hour to get to a McDonalds!
I know what you mean about every place starting to look the same, though. It is kind of depressing. On the other hand, at least you know you will be able to find certain things.

DivineMaiden SuicidaL_RaGe Divine, what annoys me a bit is that everywhere is slwoly becoming the same.. like Mcdonalds everywhere and other such shops.. highstreets of towns just will end up being exactly the same.. ish.. if that makes sense.. here will be not much difference from place to place side maye the wather.. we like to usually avoid big cities and go to the back roads and towns of plaes and soak in the unspoiltness of it all..  ~forever and ever [Mary and Sam] forever and ever~
yea I agree, I went to China last year and there McDonald and skyscappers and everything, the only thing difference really is that the signs are in chinese xp
with the rise of technoloy, cultural preservation is becoming more and more necessary sad
~forever and ever [Mary and Sam] forever and ever~ it sucks ;___; thats what its kind like here but ifind this place so artistuc... im uploading photos now they all be 1024x768 but all very big but i will resize them at home and show you all what i mean.. it has a lot of grafitti.. someplaces its legal! and I am Rob, thats pretty cool <___< was the econamy all over the place back then i rember dad saying about that i you went someone to get a coffee you had to pay first as by the time you had finished it the price may have changed xD finding stuff, is very true.. i even went to mcdonalds D: and got something they dont do in england a mcrib.. it was daark, but i asked for it in german.. ichb comma bitter ein Mcrib xD

SuicidaL_RaGe Captain Starling Awe sorry you are missing John and all but you will be home soon. I bet the food is wonderful, so authentic. ^_^ Going to a casino should be fun. I went to Las Vegas once and had a blast. Keep your head up and before you know it you'll have your own bed and "freedom"

Just remember to relax ^_^ Thank you Cap <3333 Amsterdamn tomorrow and today we where shopping again and i had to go to a german mcdonalds for the hell of it >__< but for ta we had the mot gorgeous fish @___@ and i spoke some german when asking for my mc crud food C: but its been nice dispite mother going too far - if your intrested go read my journal ;___; beware i swear a lot D: but other than my mother im having fun!!!

We lived on a military base when we were in Germany, so the economy didn't affect us so much, but when we went into Frankfurt or anywhere else, we had to use the marks, and I don't rememebr much about the exchange rate, except that it was different every day.

Captain Starling Well I am glad to hear you are having a good time for the most part. That must have been awesome to order food that comes so natural to us here in a foreign tongue. I will definately have to read your journal when I get some time. crying I hate not having internet. . truely sux. And dont worry I am not offended by swears (I am in the Army O_O) ^_^ Yes! we have been - flying back tomrrow got a lot of photos and videos i will share but when i get home home.. and settled, i will probably catch up on DA and stuff and gaia on monday i think when i get back to johns on friday i will jus wanna huggle him xD catching up will be fun.. especially here xD it was hard to ask for a ___ its Ich'B Comma bitter Ein cheeseburger.. and or cola or Vasse.. water i german ! and o0o thats soemthing intresting, i dont know why but i didnt expect you to be in the army - what do you do? >___< Atomic_bubblez its ok.. i understand, i hope you find it soon D: for your sake and mine.. ;__; i hate loosing things D: neji_ultimate i will add you to the list when im feeling less laz and when i be at home.. I have been in the army for 5 years, about to re-enlist. I am a Military Police officer but right now I am trying to change to a 42A which is Admin. I would love to sit around and do paper work. It actually gets old arresting dumb a**es

Cool, so, wats the difference between a military police offer and a normal one - it may sound like a dumb question buut i really haveno clue toward military and other such things i do not know much about it D:
Admin work would be cool, then you could have a computer, and sneak on gaia on your breaks or something xD i woud love a job with computers. It must be kinda scary work too, always in danger with people who do bad bad bad things.

I don't really get it, tons of people seem to have problems with BBCode, but it's all simple for me.
