Eric says "Uh, hi." He was startled that she was awake as he stood guarding her. "I'm Eric." The twins were hopeful. "We hope you can buy us. We do now want to be split up." ((Do we skip to having Stephan calling lawyer coming to deal with the estate?"))

Sonja held her head "where am i?"she asked "where are the twins?"she asked ehr first thought being about them (YEAH!) Stephan was talking to the man and his face got sad since he learnt he couldn't just ake the twins with him without bid for them.He hoped he would be bale to afford them

Eric says "Well you died and you and your body are in the outskirts of heaven. Twins? Oh you mean the nekos well they are still on earth of course. It is not their time to come here yet." The lawyer Maxwell Long came an hour later with the will. He reads it and says to Stephan and the twins, "Well seems Sonja had no heirs so her estate is to liquidated and she willed the money to be given to her staff equally. I will be arranging for the sale of the house and everything inside. Then he looks at the nekos and said "Well since you two are property you will be sold too." The twins nodded, they knew they would be. "Sir may we keep a few things?" Maxwell looks at them and says "What do you want?" Aki and Yuki showed then what they wanted to pack: a small amount of basic clothes, their bears, the photos and the angel that Sonja saved that they made for her that now represented her. They had hidden the feathers and kept them in an envelope in Aki's pocket. Maxwell looks at the small piles that would not bring anything anyway since the were used. "Yeah sure you can keep those." He looks at the two and notices something different about them. He examines them, "You two are very rare Himalayan nekos. You will bring a high price at auction, some collectors will pay a lot for you especially if they can breed you. Especially you the girl one."

Sonja widened her eyes "h-heaven? Am ivin heaven?!?!" she asked not really believing it. Was that twin's wish? Did the angels made her sick in order to die and visit heaven? Was she going to see them again? Remembering they were now all alone she got up quickly jumping before seeing her body staying laid meaning she was a spirit now " no no no no I need to go back! I'll haunt my own house if necessary but the twins must not stay alone! Dont you see it? Someone would come to sell them as slaves and possibly split them up! That can't happen!!! I'll do anything in order to go back to them!" she pleaded pacing nervously "besides I promised to them to take them to see their ponies and bring them a basket with apples and carrots!!? I must keep my promise!!! Let me do that and then I'll happily go to hell!" she added thinking that Eric was just waiting for her to wake up and then lead her to hell so she would pay for her sins. Stopping to pray, having many property and the most serious of all...existing. She knew that Eric was a guardian, probably an archangel's apprentice. Apprentices were responsible to lead souls to heaven's outskirts for their judgement then lead them to their destination, heaven or hell. She knew there would be no judgement for her. Stephan widened her eyes " wait wait wait! The twins are not pets to breed them! What are they? Dogs?" he asked knowing they were slaves do they would be sold, but in the idea that they would spend the rest of their lifes like that was driving him mad! Especially for Yuki! She would be forced to start giving birth from the age she was now without letting her pause between the labors and if someone would afford them both the Aki would be forced to hurt Yuki. The worst thing? He knew he could do nothing to save them. He barely had the money to afford them as normal slaves but now...he would be lucky if he could buy the half of one of them " isn't there another solution? They are kids for God's sake!!" he said to the lawyer. He knew that if Sonja was there she could pay for them ten times but now with her gone the twins had no protector.

Irina96 Eric did not mean to be unsympathetic but dealing with death was a daily occurrence in heaven. "Death is natural and then nekos you care for will move on with their lives. They do dearly mourn you. We brought your body here because your death was unusually sudden, even for being only half angel and the molting of your feathers is highly unusual. The physician Peter is looking into why your body failed. As for your soul, I will escort you to plead your case to the archangel but even if you are granted passage back, your body is not of use unless the physician Peter can cure it. Lawyer Maxwell just shrugged. He was thinking of the commission he would be getting from the sale of the estate and especially the nekos. "The nekos are property like other slaves. What is done with them after the sale is not my concern. They could bring as much as $500K each to the right collector. A lot for a slave. As for you and the other servants and staff, it is in your interest that I get the best price for you are all heirs to the fortune. You will all get a very good severance, after my fees of course. It will take a few days to get things arranged of course and the proper paperwork to proceed." ((Sonja needs to come back before the sale? Or she will have no house to come back to? But afterward maybe lawyer guy gets mad for losing his commission and tells collectors about the nekos.))

Sonja bit her lip worried "i know all these Eric but i can't leave the twins alone like that! Would you let two children split up from each other and grow up on streets or even worse obey some hearless man when you can do something to stop it? i don't think so! Besides they had done nothing worng and i just owe them too much to leave them helpless"she told him meaning that they had become her family and made her feel like someoen was loving her in the end. (i would thinkt make an action for the twins with many collectors and when the offer would be high enough and the seller goes to finish it she will enter and save them the last moment. Let's make the action before everything else) "oh stop saying 'of course'! it makes you seem fake. And the nekos have names ya know! Aki and Yuki or for shortage 'twins' "he glared stroking their heads

((okay)) Eric said "I'm sorry if I sound unsympathetic to your situation but this kind of thing happens all of the time. Most who come here have unfinished business and unfortunately we cannot make a happy life for all on earth." Peter comes back and sees Sonja "Oh you have awaken. I am Peter the physician. I am trying to figure out why your body failed. Did you have some unusual symptoms before you died?" Lawyer Maxwell was unphased to Stephan, after all he was just a servant. "Anyway I suppose the nekos will need to be cared for while the paperwork goes through. You will be in charge of making sure they are cared for and fed. You will be paid for your services. I will be in touch when I arrange for the auction of the nekos in a couple of days. Until them they are your responsibility." Maxwell leaves to go file the death certificate and arrange for the auction of the nekos. The house and other things could be liquidated at a separate auction afterwards he figured.

Sonja shook Peter's hand "you mean except weaknesses? from the day before christmas i started feeling tired and it was hard to perform even the simplest of all my spells. After that my featehrs started falling and while normally blood would make me feel better only the htought i would drink more was making me feel a wild pleasure but the same time i was feeling it was the wrong thing to do...maybe that can help you"she said calmly. Stephan knew this would be the best offer he could get so he just nodded "i will take them to my home and you will call me for whatever it is needed"he said strking them still

Peter says "Well none of that seems very distinctive except for the blood thing but that is from your vampire blood maybe. It is disturbing that you could not cast spells and the most puzzling is losing your feathers. That is very rare. Did you have some kind of trauma maybe? Stress?" Peter was examining Sonja's body for swollen glands, contusions, anything unusual other than the loss of feathers. "I took some blood to be tested but the results could take a while to come back." Eric just stood watching as the physician did his work. He noted how pretty Sonja looked and had no real traits of being a vampire except her teeth. Lawyer Maxwell nodded. Fine, I have your number on my cellphone from your call. Lock up the house and take care of them. I will let you know when and where to bring them later to be sold." Aki and Yuki were scared but they were glad Stephan was there and they could stay with him until they were sold. They were very sad. They picked up their little bags and waited for Stephan to lock up the house.

(reply soon g2g in a bit) Sonja nodded "what if something weakened the hold of the feathers? i mean what if the answer tot he problem is to what caused for the featehrs to fall?"she asked now that her spirit was out of her body was making her fee strange and lighter...she wished she would be with the twins now instead of there..she was feeling she didn't diserve that. Stephan locked the house after going to check around in case there was something urgent they had forgot to do. Turning to go he looked at the twins "hey let's go...my car is there"he pointed his voice trembling a bit. His car was small and cheap the excat opposite from Sonja's so he was thinking the twins will dislike that

Peter continued his examination and said "In looking at your feathers, it seems like the feathers themselves are fine." He pokes around some more moving her wings. "It seems something maybe like a system imbalance maybe and not a virus since a virus would not effect your powers." The twins were happy to be with Stephan so they did not mind his car. The couldn't really tell one from another much. They squeezed in and put their little bags on the floor under their feet. "Thank you for taking care of us." they said.

Sonja tilted her head after hearing his words. That was something that would never come to her mind " but if it was a system imbalance why did it strike now? I lived 18 years and nothing ever happened before!" she said to him being surprised but after of it that would explain her feathers. Did it matter that she was a hybrid? Stephan helped them with the seatbelts "I couldn't leave you with him! You still have reasons to smile" he replied meaning that the lawyer would most likely separate them, but now they were together still they would be able to behave like kids a little more. Reaching his house, which wasn't big he got out. It was rather small really. He opened the door to the twins and helped them our " this is it...Lissa is inside, she will be surprised I'm home that early"

Peter finished examining the body and found little clues. The answer must be in her blood work. "I don't see anything here to pinpoint your problem. I'm going to run more tests on your blood and be back later." Eric nods and stays with Sonja. The twins were happy to be with Stephan and see Lissa. They carried their little bags and went in. "Hi Lissa!" they said as they entered. "How is your baby?"

Sonja sat down on the floor, her spirit wearing the dress she was wearing when she died. She brought her knees to her chest hugging them with her arms resting her head on them "why did this had to happen?"she asked mostly herself Stephan followed in seeing his girl seeting on the couch stroking her eblly. She was about 8 months pregnant so she couldn't move easily. He was about to do most of the housework when he would come back but now...He walked to her with a smile kissing her lips and her belly softly hugging her "Lizzie here's the twins i told you about,they will stay with us for a bit..i will explain later"he said becoming serious Lissa looked at them grinning "nice to meet you guys! Aki and Yuki right? the baby is fine! you can come and feel it kicking!"she grinned happily kissing stephan's cheek
