Codename: AegisTeam: OmegaLocation: Range to Danger Room. ---Thinking: Main Objective: Rescue Hobbes. Secondary Objective: Whatever else instructed.---

Michale shook his head as Gabriel's arm transformed, giving it the "not bad" facial expression. He wanted to see it in action. That however was interrupted by the drone crashing to the ground in a ball of mechanical flames. Instinctively, Michael stood up, shouldering his rifle and stepping between the source of the shot and his daughter. As the sentinel dropped in, it declared that two genes were confirmed, that left Elizabeth out of the fray. But he couldn't fight with her right there. Nor would he be able to cloak her, the sentinel probably had some kind of other sensors other than basic optics, and with it's basic optics may come to the conclusion that she may be a mutant, and he didn't want to risk that.

But the two of them could take it down potentially, especially since Gabriel had a hand cannon, literally. And he had his 7.76.

"I'll be back..." He muttered to his fellow range going. "Beth, start running back to the mansion." the photokinetic instructed his daughter.

"But da-" she began to speak up.
"No buts, just start running, trust me." He snapped, cutting her off. She sniffed slightly as tears started forming up, "I'll be right behind you, I promise." Michael said, turning to her with a smile. He turned back to the Sentinel who said to come without resistance. He took his left hand off the under mount rail of the rifle, and put it up, showing the thing that he wasn't going to shoot.

"Wait till I give you a clear shot, play innocent." He muttered again, kneeling slowly to the ground. "Just putting the rifle away, see, nice and slowly, no harm in that right?" He asked allowed, drawing the Sentinel's attention away from Gabriel In just a few seconds the excess parts were stripped from the rifle and placed into the bag. While he was stripping the rifle he had positioned himself some leverage to take off in a dead sprint.

He eyed his daughter, who was a good distance away by now, maybe a third of the way between the range and the Mansion. As soon as he looked back to his rifle bag, Michael leaned and sprinted, and in an explosion of one person into three, two perfect images of Michael sprinted in two other directions from the real Michael. Michael was hoping, that if there was more than the optical sensor, this would stall it just long enough to recalculate what to do to give him that bit of window to get to his daughter safely.

An explosion happened behind him, he didn't bother to look, he didn't want to slow down for anything. Dirt flung and hit his ankle and calves as a net had narrowly missed his legs. He wasn't sure if it was luck, or the two illusions bought him that split second time, but he thanked lady luck and ran for his daughter. "Hey Hand Cannon, I'll be back, pull him away from my rifle, I'll be back out as soon as possible. Out."

In one swoop he scooped her up and she clung to him, her arms around his neck, head buried in his shoulder and his arm under the pit of her legs as he ran full sprint to the door of the mansion. He got to the door of the mansion steps, took a step back, and held his daughter tighter. He leaned up against the door and grasped the handle with his hand that was elevating his daughter's legs and the door swung open with his weight against it. Once inside, the ex-soldier put her down and slammed the door shut behind him.

"Emma, I need to know where I can take Beth." Michael panted, keying his com.

"Take her to the danger room, all the younger ones are there."
"Roger." He responded, heading his way to the elevator and tapping it quickly. Keying the elevator key to the danger room he knelt down in front of his daughter as they descended. "Take these, and give them back when I get back, Okay sweet heart?" His daughter nodded silently. Her eyes widened suddenly as she curled her arm in, only to realize Hobbes wasn't there. She began to tear up and burst into tears.

"Sweety, sweety, it's okay, I'll go get him as soon as I can. I promise, hold onto my tags, and I'll trade you them back for Hobbes, okay?" He said frantically, trying to console her. He kissed her forehead as the door opened and they made their way to the Danger Room where Psylocke picked up Elizabeth and turned tail before Psylocke could call him back.

Getting in the elevator, Emma's voice rang through his head.
"If I recall Narcissa benched you, something about father first, soldier second?"

Michael keyed his com and responded, "Yeah, I'm doing just that, my daughter forgot her stuffed animal."

Omega - The Grounds - "The weak oppress'd, the impression of strange kinds/ Is form'd in them by force, by fraud, or skill..."

User Image
Maddy blew out a puff of smoke, sticking her lighter into the pocket, leaning forward as she glimpsed a bit of blonde hair cutting through the gardens. She couldn't help but give a slight smirk as Narcissa approached, so ostentatiously leaning her hand on her hip as she assessed the other. At least some things around here did not change too much.

Even if the relationship between Narcissa and Madison had been a strange one, if it can even be called a relationship, Maddy held out some sort of respect for her old team-leader. Having spent most of her time at the Academy on the Omegas, she had had enough fights under her command. Even if, when drugged, she said otherwise, she mostly trusted Narcissa's judgement and strategy.

Maddy took the pipe out of her mouth. "From what I've heard you guys have enough new blood running around these days." For the most part she tried to forget how terrible she had been in the first few months of being on the team. It had taken her about ten showers to work out the grime worked in from her first mission into the sewers and the madness with the Morlocks down there. Had it not been for the healers on campus she would have been out of the game for much longer than it actually took for her to recover. Although Maddy might not wish it on them, she knew these new kids that were getting thrown onto the Alphas and Omegas would likely be suffering just as badly, if not worse.

"...but yeah, I will be staying," she said, standing up. "At least until we all can figure out something to do about this Registration Act, I need a place to stay. It's not really safe for me to be running around on my own like I have been, because like hell am I going to register." Honestly, she thought, if the government ever got a hold of her, she'd be doomed. Being able to create psychic blades is not an especially passive power, even if sneaking around unnoticed could be. Still, if the government somehow found that she had been hanging around with the X-Men, which would not be too hard to verify, not much would protect. A normal cell could not hold Maddy, but she didn't want to think about how they would actually try to contain her. "I figured this would be the best place, with the Omegas and the other X-Men around, and I can at least lend a hand to you guys," she said. "We mutants tend to do best as a team."

Then, just as the other was about to speak again, she stopped suddenly. Maddy's eyes caught them a second after Narcissa's. The purple and red behemoths dropped out of the sky at a ridiculous speeds as the alarm bells started to blare. It took Maddy a second for her brain to rebound and accept what she knew was happening. She hadn't even been home from two hours. She wasn't unpacked. She didn't have her bow. She was wearing jeans and a Nirvana t-shirt, for ******** sake.

She immediately felt incredibly stupid for thinking that the mansion would be a safe spot for her. It was a bloody hot-zone.

As another one of the Sentinels landed right in front her Narcissa and her, she dropped her pipe, letting it fall to the steps and its contents spill as she was scanned for the X-Gene.

“Two unregistered female mutants acknowledged. Identity unknown,” it blurted as its sensors found what they were really looking for. "Surrender without aggression, and you will be spared,” came the synthetic voice.

'You will be spared?' thought Maddy. 'Spared from what?'

The girl's eyes twitched over to her leader. Yes, it was certainly good to be back.

In any case, she and Narcissa did not get much time to stand down, even if they had wanted, before a net came flying towards the both of them. It was a ridiculously crude way to try and capture someone, but the tactic must have served its purpose in the past.

Psyche's pupils dilated as it flew at the both of them just as a thought brought out a long, purple and black blade in her hands. With a downward slice it split the reinforced rope in two, sending the pieces flying to either side of her.

The blade vanished as her thought did, a voice coming into her mind and with her communicator going off on her hip. ~Madison, the X-Men-- ~

~ --had better get here damn fast if they don't want to have to rebuild their school again,~ she thought back, interrupting the telepath. She knew what the White Queen would have to say, but it was a little late for them to have time to wait for the senior team to show. Frost must have been going crazy right now trying to telepathically get the others to stand down if they weren't responding to the hails going out on the communicators.

"Resistance encountered. Threat level: Moderate. You will be detained," came the voice again.

"Seriously?" she asked, falling behind Solaris. "'Moderate threat level?' That seems a little low, to me."

Without blinking again, two more smaller blades appeared in either hand. She didn't know what kind of armor this thing had, but the best she could do for now was to avoid getting hit and figure out how to take it down. If it was designed in any intuitive manor, she would guess that its mainframe would be in thee head. Getting up to the head would be enough of a problem, though.

"Solaris, the legs!" she shouted simply, tensing up again.

Alpha | "Sleet" | Cryokinesis | From the Kitchen, to the Danger Room, to the Courtyard
M c M U R P H Y

User Image
More students were filing into the Kitchen now, and although the room was fairly large, Vee was starting to get a bit claustrophobic, sitting in her little corner as she was. She never liked big crowds to begin with, and the people in her hometown hadn't been as ... friendly. Even during her short time at the Academy, most students tended to stay away from solitary people like her, but these people didn't seem to mind at all.

In response to her question, Leo explained his ability to copy the properties any animal. At his little side comment about his tendency to mostly copy bugs, a flitting smile flashed across Vee's face. Truthfully, she couldn't understand how a bug, of all things, would be useful in a battle. As if reading her mind, Leo quickly contradicted that thought. Raine explained about her own power right after with a nonchalant shrug. It was obvious Raine didn't think much about her own ability, but Vee thought it was pretty convenient, seeing how the world was so dependent on technology and electricity. She was about to say so, when - to put it simply - hell arrived at their doorstep.

Vee felt a low vibration in the ground, the feeling of something really big and really heavy making a really obvious landing. Her iced over water bottle tipped over, rolling over the edge of the table and landing on the ground with a bloated thud. The alarms went off, blaring and echoing around the room. Startled, Vee glanced out the window, and was horrified by what she saw. There, wreaking destruction all over the grounds, were - well, basically, big giant metal robots.

"What the hell are those things?" she muttered, the screaming blare of the alarms drowning out her voice.

She heard her name called, and Vee turned to face Leo. It was as if he'd put on a new face; just a moment ago, he'd been sociable and friendly, and now he was solemn and military-like, easily exuding an air of command. Quickly, he ordered her to gather up the younger students and take them to the Danger Room. He spoke with such authority that Vee was tempted to salute him, but she knew now was definitely not the time. She nodded curtly, standing up so sharply her chair overturned, and, without checking to see if the two other people Leo had addressed (Jacen and Michelle) were following, raced from the room.

In the hallways, Vee caught a glimpse of battles between the robot guys and the X-Men. She wanted to join them, try to help how she could, but as soon as the thought formed, a voice echoed in the mind, the Headmistress's voice, ordering her to stand down and stay inside. Vee scowled and continued on. She quickly gathered up all the younger kids up and herded them down to the lower levels towards the Danger Room, using a sharp, clipped tone on any stragglers that tried to stay behind and watch from the windows. She couldn't blame them; admittedly, she too stopped by the window to watch Raine, looking more or less like a walking disco ball, attack one of the giant metal robots and short its circuits. A couple X-Men, Psylocke and Colussus, were already there by the door, and Vee handed the kids off to them before dashing back up to the ground level.

She paused by her dorm room to pick up her com and a large canteen, already filled with water. She hated how restricted her ability was, knowing how having to lug around a canteen of water slowed her down. But, as it was, her ability hadn't matured enough yet to create ice without dealing damage to herself as well. Vee didn't dare imagine her team members' reactions when they saw her with a canteen, of all things, slung over her shoulders. As she entered the room, her team leader's silky voice flashed over the com. Vee started a bit at Isabella's words. They were to completely defy the Headmistress's orders? Not that Vee minded, really, but boy, they would be in a huge amount of trouble when this was all over.

Vee sprinted the short distance from her room to the Courtyard. Even though she wasn't tired in the slightest, her heartbeat was rapid, and her breathing quick. Vee swallowed down the anxiety she currently felt. It was only her second day on the team, she hadn't even met all of them yet, and already she was thrust into a battle. She had no idea what she was getting into.

Jacen Reilly [Kraken] / Omega / Main Foyer

Leo’s recap of the events in the kitchen made Jacen’s eyes light up. Cool, he loved hearing about other people’s powers, though he hated explaining his own. He watched as Leonardo explained his mutation, pouring out a bowl of some teeth-rottingly delicious cereal as the Alpha went on.

“Good Morning Roland~” He said, a mouthful of dry cereal slightly obstructing his speech. When the armor-sprouting mutant asked if anybody wanted a helping of eggs, Jacen simply held his bowl up as a polite way of declining. He was mid-chew, listening to people explain their powers, when he felt the impact of the drone, cocking his head to one side as he slid off the counter.

“Oh kai.” Jacen cursed, Sentinels coming down and Leo starting to rattle off instructions. Jacen wasn’t socially inept enough to miss the cue from Leo, which was basically ‘sit this one out while the heavy hitters go in.’ He frowned at the accusation, but didn’t want to argue with the alpha right now. Besides, Leo was right; with everyone else available, Jacen was not on the starting lineup for fighting building-sized robots.

Vee was already halfway out the room as the Omega spoke. “Roger that Renaissance Man…” Jacen replied, before adding, “We’ll be back once everyone else is safe.” He hoped the alpha didn’t think he’d be sitting this one out.

He moved from Kitchen to Foyer, catching sight of Leion trying to shoo some underclassmen that were either staring in awe out the window or freaking out down to the basement. He started to help with shoo’ing the children downstairs, a lot of them reluctant to leave the action behind. “You didn’t invite the purple houseguests right?” He asked dryly, making sure the last kid was in the hands of the professors downstairs before turning back to face the windows leading outside. “I’m pretty sure we’re disregarding the senior X-men’s previous instructions at this point Rave.” He grinned, listening to the sounds of battle outside. He hoped Emma was to busy to hear that.

Daylia simply nodded as Dimitri thanked her. There was not much else to say on that comment. Many men, good or otherwise may have tried something, so really it was a compliment. Though with his next comment she couldn’t help but laugh. "The word ‘Shagging’ went out with the 90’s." She said with a small smile. "I’m just guessing you’re both still living in the time period."

Daylia gave a nod as Dimitri assured her that he wouldn’t go around spreading rumors.
"Good, I would hate to have to waste you." Of course she wouldn’t actually kill him, maim maybe, but not kill. "I’m also hoping, that if anyone else starts to say anything that you n** that too." She knew it was unlikely to get him out of her room without anyone knowing. Hell some might already know that they had spent the night together.

Daylia was shocked that soon after she placed her head on Dimitri’s chest, he had put his arm around hers. She didn’t know what she expected, maybe him to dart upright, or ask her to get up, but it was certainly not this. Before she could say anything about it, or ask anything, he went on about presents.
"Yeah, okay, now you’re claiming to be Santa?" She asked as she shook her head. "Where the hell do you come up with this stuff?"

Confusion crossed D’s face as she bolted up right, breaking away from Dimitri’s form. There were too many sounds coming though the cracked window. It almost sounded like something had been blown up. She turned to Dimitri, asking with her eyes if he had heard it too. Though before she could vocalize anything, his communication device went off with Bella’s voice. The Alpha’s were being called to arms against robots? The confusion in her grew as she looked to her own communication device. Narcissa hadn’t called the Omega’s yet.

Daylia was already on her feet in front of her dresser. She didn’t have her uniform, but she still needed to get dressed.
"Robots?" She asked looking over her shoulder at Dimitri before she pulled out a pair of jeans and slipped them on. "Why hasn’t Cissa said anything?" She asked looking back to the dresser. She shook her head as she claimed a hair tie before pulling her messed up hair back.

Daylia quickly raised her com to her lips as she dialed Narcissa.
"What’s going on out there boss?" She asked. "What’s this I hear about robots and the Alpha’s assembling?" Daylia didn’t like being out of the loop, especially when something big seemed to be going down. Her eyes went back to Dimitri as she waited, wondering if she should follow him out, or just wait for the orders from Narcissa.

User ImageAn exasperated sigh passed between her lips with the expression Felix returned when she told him to go ahead and report this morning's findings to Narcissa if he felt it necessary.  Her hip jutted out, hand upon it as she stood her ground. "Not a death wish, just the understanding that the Red Queen isn't the monster isn't as awful as everyone claims." That it came from an Alpha's lips might have surprised him, but she'd hung around Dominik and subsequently, Aren enough to know that she didn't go out of her way to torture those that weren't 'worthy' of the Omega title.

But he mentioned he liked that quality in a girl, and loose blond curls danced in the air as she shook her head."Oh don't even start." She mumbled beneath her breath - sure he'd hear her growing aggravation how this was playing out. Surely to God he wasn't going to even try a line like that when she was walking out of another guy's room. Even if she had said nothing had happened, he must have had ideas that weren't so easily forgotten with her admission to clear her name.

"It was prom night. I hardly doubt anyone outside of McCoy's disciples spent the evening studying." And she'd left before he'd even awakened, so no harm... no foul. As for the other times she'd spent with the Slovene... she could say she'd encouraged him to do his school work, teasing him openly for failing classes that should have come to him with no effort.

The telekinetic pursed her lips when he mentioned that Narcissa wouldn't like him dating a girl from the Blue and Black team, but couldn't disagree. The rivalry there stacked high enough that she couldn't discredit that.  Likely, there would be a few people dissatisfied with her choice to blur the lines between the two teams - but the dancer knew well she couldn't have been the first to do so. "I'm not dating him." She avowed and then corrected herself silently in her head. Yet.

While he hadn't really ever confirmed that he was going to stir up trouble for her, Aurelie didn't believe for a second that he didn't intend to, when he'd been quick to mention Cissa's name. "Your reputation precedes you." She remarked pointedly. "If you can then you will." And he most certainly could. Little weasel. His indifference proved that.

s**t. She'd not meant to feed him more information... and thoroughly wanted to kick herself for doing so. If there was anything that Felix needed, it wasn't more information to use against her. Not when, he'd just witnessed her sneaking out of one of the boys' dorms... That in itself could marr her reputation, paint her a whore... not to mention what it could do if Narcissa decided to hold a grudge against her for being attracted to the suspended Omega.

To try and alleviate the situation, Aurelie offered to have breakfast with him so that they could sort out his terms for his silence, and within an instant he was beside her. She shivered at how quickly he moved, but adapted quickly. "I don't." The telekinetic stated in regards to not taking forever to dress. "No point in fretting over being perfect all the time." Some other girls could do that.  Grinning her blue eyes met his for the first time without irritation lining them. "Once Lillian picked out a dress last night, it took me less than thirty to get ready for prom." A day, which most girls would spend in front of a mirror for hours, covering every intricate detail.

Once they were on the girls' side of the dorms, Aurelie left Felix out in the hall so that she could change in peace. It didn't take her long. Peeling the dress from her form, she tossed it into her collapsible hamper and telekinetically pulled out an outfit from her dresser, and the matching bangles for the ensemble. Reaching down, she grabbed a pair of ballet flats, and quickly got dressed - throwing her hair into a twist at the nape of her neck.

Just as she slipped on the shoes over her heels, a small explosion in the distance shook the objects in her room. Eyes wide, she opened the door and met Felix near the window. He briefed her on the situation, and a frown pulled at her dainty features. "I don't think this is Forge's doing..." She murmured absently, unable to rip her gaze from the gigantic mechanical beings on the grounds.

His smirk caused her heart to jump in pace - he wanted to carry her around, having her use her telekinesis to bring down a few of the robots effectively. Her stomach felt full of ice, splashing through her system as she thought it over. This would be the first time she had to fight since the bomb... Swallowing a lump of air, she listened to what he had to say. It should work.

Emma telepathically crept into her mind, barking at her to not follow through with Felix's plan... that the senior X-men would see to protecting the academy. Her shoulders tensed with the decision, closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Glancing a second time outside, she recognized Leo and a few others, already fighting.  And one of the robots was moving rapidly toward the mansion, decimating what defenses they had.

Some job the senior members were doing.

Emma, my friends are out there... and I can't just stand on the sidelines and watch them fight. That's not what the X-men are supposed to do. In retrospect, she'd never been one to break the rules.  It was why, Scott had argued she'd do better on the do-right team. She just wasn't following that impression now.

Without another moment of contemplation (mostly because she was afraid she'd second guess her impulses), Aurelie telekinetically lifted herself onto the speed demon's back. "Frost isn't on board with your plan... but I am." She said, easily informing him that she'd been contacted too. " I won't grip too tight if you won't split me." Or run her into a wall. She rolled her eyes toward the ceiling when he called himself a hottie, but found humor in it at the same time.

Leaning into his ear, she couldn't help herself. "Scratches only happen if I'm enjoying the ride, normally. I'm sure you'll be safe." Her legs wrapped around his waste, and she prepared herself as much as she could before he zipped through the mansion and outside. With any luck, they'd be more help as a team, and wouldn't be caught in the crossfire.

Thomas "Transmigration" Morgan

Thomas chuckled as Blake responded to his story and finished with a shrug. "Considering she has started actually making an effort to avoid anything related to Dr. McCoy, including his classroom and lab, I doubt she will trust him enough. It has gotten bad enough that she takes the long way around when getting to classes and is at times late because of it. She had to drop his classes completely." It was too bad really since McCoy would look for a way to reverse the unintentional damage. "I imagine it won't take him much longer to find a cure though. You know how he gets."

Smiling after Thomas nodded at his friend as Blake mentioned not telling the girl she was green around the collar. "Probably for the best." The conversation with his friend amused him enough Thomas only just registered Lillian not far away reading. Since the power absorber seemed to be fine with reading, Thomas just inclined his head with a slight wave to her. Turning back to Blake, he was about to jump back into their conversation when Bella had messaged him. Replying with the insistence to look at her hand Bella replied again. Blake responded about the songstress being grounded and Thomas smiled. At least that meant at some point if for some reason she avoided them at lunch, she would need to seek out Blake. Choosing then to respond to Bella, Thomas sent her another message.

"Bella, we are here for you, Blake and I, so you aren't alone alright? You know that right? Just don't shut us out okay? Talk to us if you need to. Even if just to one of us alright? We will see you at lunch. Take care of yourself until then." It might of seemed like a reiteration of what he had already said and it was, but the healer figured one more time wouldn't hurt. Afterwards Thomas and Blake returned to their previous conversation and with a smile the healer raised an eyebrow to his friend. "Well don't leave me in suspense." Falling silent after to listen to Blake's story his eyes once again moved to the side to survey the room. Tara was entering, but for the moment seemed content to ignore both him and Blake so he turned back to finish listening to the cowboy's story.

"It seems we are being ignored." The implications to fix that situation was moot as seconds later Tara seemed to decide to grace them with her presence as she spoke to them. At the geokinetic's inquiry Thomas raised an eyebrow. "What makes you think I know who was sneaking into their dorms?" The question was posed and Thomas waited patiently for a response. Lillian added her two cents and Thomas laughed. "I suppose half a day can be considered a long time." Technically she had seen both of them at prom right?

When Lillian mentioned stealing Tara away the healer nodded. "Please do. Blake and I have to discuss in length the two of you behind your backs." He then proceeded to stick his tongue out at Tara in a decidedly childish manner which he usually wouldn't, but Tara had that effect at times. Another man entered the lounge that Thomas didn't recognize and greeted them. Giving Marcel a friendly wave Thomas greeted. "Good morning unless of course it has not been for you at which point I say to you, bad morning." Yeah that sounded better in his head. Turning back to Blake with a grin Thomas' attention was then stole by the sounds of something exploding far off. "Sounds like either Forge or Dr. McCoy have started their projects a little early."

At least Thomas hoped that was them. Part of him was almost scared to look outside and therefore he remained seated with a worried expression. Bella would contact them if something had happened right? Eyes drawn to the window Bella's form suddenly came into view and Thomas glanced at her the worry ever growing. She looked concerned. Scratch that very concerned. "Did something happen Bella?" Bella swearing made Thomas even more concerned and he stood up walking to the window beside the woman. The sight that greeted him caused a lump to catch in his throat. "Is that.... Is that what I think it is?" He visibly paled as he looked at the large robot. Emma then warned him not to go outside. Thomas was inclined to agree with that.

Placing a hand over his mouth and keeping it there he turned absently as Bella addressed him. "Huh? Oh uh yeah right, I'll go get her." Turning towards the game room and walking to it making sure to avoid the windows he glanced at the girl inside. At first glance he didn't recognize her, then he took a second glance and he felt both excited and sorry to see the face. "Gracie? I wish I could say it was good to see you." Then realizing how it might sound he quickly remedied that. "Not because I am sorry you are back, I am glad about that, but we are under attack it seems. Follow me and stay away from the windows alright? I would hate to have to give you a donation already."

Waving for the dark haired girl to follow, Thomas moved back towards Bella until they were in the same room again. Letting Bella give her speech to Gracie he glanced at Blake before looking back outside. This was not going to be fun. The most Thomas could hope to do was provide support. Maybe offer a target for the Sentinels to shoot. As Bella finished completely Thomas looked to the others in the room. "If it becomes necessary to avoid getting shot use me as a shield. I can heal the damage done. Other than that let me know if you get hurt so I can give you a transfusion." Briefly Thomas wished he used guns, but he never did believe in using them for anything. All they did was hurt people, and Thomas healed them. Clearly they were not a good match.

(OOC: I tried to keep this from getting too long and everything. Hopefully I succeeded. If anything was missed let me know and I can edit as needed.)

Sitting in the lounge, the Texan relaxed in one of a set of oversized loveseats, hanging out with Thomas, as though no time had passed since they'd last seen each other. He grinned at the healer's story, low chuckles emanating from him as he thought about the poor girl with green skin. “No, I wouldn't imagine that it'd take long.” He said in agreement. “The world's best mind driven to a task?” There was little more that needed to be said.

The sound of Bella's voice touched their ears as she told them she'd see them at lunch; Thomas reiterated that they were there if she needed them, asking her not to shut them out. While it would normally be a very big concern, Blake was sure he'd not allow it of her. They'd spent too much time apart as it was, pushing him away when he'd just returned was a definite no-go. But as soon as Bella confirmed she'd see them later, they fell back to their prior conversation and the cowboy re-told the story about the “Mudball” in Minnesota. What a mess that one had been! By the end of it, his face was flushed from laughter, recalling all too well how much clean up had ensued... And the old lady's face as she got some of the slimy dirt in her mouth. After being caked with it, that had been her only complaint.

Blake gave Tara a one finger salute when she greeted them, only after explaining to Lillian that she was her new roommate. He admired the girl's spunk, but chose not to comment on how bossy she might have come off. It fit her. A slow grin grew on his face as Tara made her way over, teasing Thomas immediately after opening her mouth. The accusation, though not voiced, couldn't be described as subtle in the least. She teased Thomas asking for the name of the girl that had been skittering out of his room this morning. The cowboy hid a laugh behind his fist, though his eyes still sparkled with mirth. Holding his hands up before his phoenix-like friend could accuse him of putting her up to it, he made the best innocent face he could muster. “I didn't have a hand in this one, believe it or not.

Lillian stated it'd been a long time, and the healer's response garnered another few laughs out of Blake. “Girl time. You know how it goes.” He said, adding to the situation. But he sobered a moment later, agreeing with the girl, knowing fully well what she'd meant. “Just a bit of one.” The molecular manipulator's Southern voice drawled in response to the copycat. “But it sure is nice to see a lot of old faces mixed with the new.” Having someone familiar seemed surreal after all the time on the road, but he gave no indication of it as he relaxed in the lounge.

Marcel walked in and waved at their growing group, and Blake lifted his chin in response. “Have a good night, then?” He asked, recalling well that he'd been one of the mischievous bunch that had been spiking the community drinks the night before. He wondered if the boy had consumed any after; given its rotten taste, he very much doubted it.

As the girls walked away, more chuckles ensued, and he went along with the healer's remark. “What a pair!” He said loudly, “Thank god they left us.” The grin on his face ruined any sort of chance they might have taken him seriously. The grinding metal noise caused the molecular manipulator to sit up, his teeth clenched as his blue eyes searched the windows for the source of the noise. “I don't think it's either one of them.” He said quietly, trying to place in his mind where he'd heard that set of sounds before. Sifting through his memories proved difficult as the alarms started screaming down the hallways.

One of his own teammates sprinted to the lounge as the alarms went off in the hallways. Instantly, Blake stood, turning around to see what the disturbance was in their security. Robots. His jaw clenched, knowing just what they were, and how much fun they'd not been in the past. Bella's form appeared in the lounge aw well, but offered no good mornings as she stared out one of the oversized windows. Without a thought, his feet carried himself over to her, ready to offer support should she need it. The expression she held definitely confirmed what he'd been thinking. “Sentinels.” Blake said, nothing more needed to let her know he remembered too well what had happened last time. One word was all that was needed re-affirm what was going on in Thomas' mind. Bella told the healer to go get the girl in the game room, which left Blake to stare at his best friend. There were so many things he needed to say right now – but the destruction taking place outside kept him silent.

Emma reminded the teams to stand down, snappily telling them that the X-men would handle the attack, but it left Blake shaking his head. Scott told her to stand down over the comms, more condescending than he usually was and Blake let out a frustrated breath. There was no way she'd remain on the sidelines while any of her team members were out there, fighting against something completely over their heads. “We can't just sit here, Bells... not while they're out there.” No matter what the Headmaster had ordered.

Thomas returned from grabbing the girl from the game room, and the Alpha leader spoke to the girl quickly – telling her of the two choices she had. The hazel-eyed girl looked somewhat familiar, but with so many faces to be re-acquainted with, Blake couldn't have been sure. “Siren...” The one word said it all... he'd be fighting alongside the Alphas, helping where he could. But a part of him had to wonder just why the Omegas hadn't been ordered to do the same thing.

Game room and Lounge

She played one more game after she pocketed the eight ball, taking her time to meticulously make every shot count. Without precision, she was nothing. While many would simply believe it was just a solitaire version of pool, Emlen focused, calculating angles to get the balls where they needed to go. No one seemed to bother her - a fact that she attributed to the likelihood that most of the student population busied the morning by nursing hangovers from the inevitably spiked punch at prom. The dark haired girl hadn't attended the event, no more inclined to try and ascertain her own days in high school with her placement in the academy.

Prom then had been wonderful, filled with all the right moments with Bruce. Now the thought of that time in her life left a sour taste in her mouth, sticking to her teeth like a flat coke. Inside, her chest felt as though it were being torn apart thread by thread -part of her wanting nothing more than to run back to Georgia and fix things. The more she thought about it though, the more she realized the lingering effects of being manipulated. Her cue made a bit more noise, the force which she hit her targets increased substantially. Stupid, stupid girl. The hex generator chided herself for what must have been the millionth time. It's not as though you can change him. Even here, hundreds of miles away, she sometimes felt that lingering pull. b*****d.

Idly, the thumb on her left hand rubbed the place where her wedding band used to be, not quite used to the naked feeling leaving the ring off had left her. All that remained now were tan lines from where she'd never taken it off. Letting go of it, placing it in a small jewelry box in her room had been one of the first steps to moving on. Even now, she wasn't sure how much good it'd done.

She'd been just about ready to call it quits after her third game when the sirens screeched that their security measures for the mansion were compromised. Standing up straight, she tossed the pool cue onto the table and stared at the flashing light on one of the alarms, trying to remember what it had meant the last time she'd heard it. But as she remembered the times she'd been forced to listen to the incessant noise... Emlen recalled several different reasons as to why they'd gone off.

The dark haired beauty didn't have to wait for long before someone came in to explain what was going on. Considering the lack of windows in the game room, she'd not been able to draw the correct conclusions. Thomas greeted her, their reunion bittersweet. There had been a wry grin on her face when he first spoke, knowing he'd correct himself before she had a chance to tease him about it. “Nice to see you too.” She murmured almost sarcastically.

Hazel orbs fixated on him as he explained the situation. “Attack?” Her voice shouldn't have held surprise. What with how long she'd been with the X-men, and the political uproar regarding mutants... she shouldn't have been. But the blow was hard to process, when she considered the Academy to be one of the safest places in the world for young mutants - despite how many times she'd seen the academy burned, blown up, infiltrated... Okay maybe it wasn't the safest place in the world. Who was she kidding?

Nodding to what the healer had to say, Gracie followed him back to the lounge, steering clear of being viewed through the windows. While they were walking, she wouldn't allow herself to take a peek, not wanting to risk being seen herself. Once they reached the group of people in the hot spot for the Alphas, Bella introduced herself. “Emy.” She said in response to the Hispanic girl's name. Gracie was reserved for old friends and family, as a general rule. “Jinx on the field.” Because that was important if they were about to run headlong into a fight. Once the alpha leader mentioned the enemies outside, the newly recruited Omega stole a glance through the glass. “Sentinels?” She mouthed, paling as she said it. If she'd had breakfast it might have come up.

Genosha hadn't been a pleasant experience for anyone involved. As soon as Bella gave her the options, her dark curls cascaded in a sort of dance as she shook her head. No way, no how was she going to play the coward and duck to the Danger room - not when she had an idea of what they were up against, and a lot of students wouldn't. Her shoulders rolled with a shrug at the mention of trouble with the headmistress, and her lips pulled back with a smirk. “Not like that doesn't happen on its own anyway.” She said, not overly concerned about the bitchy blond principal. That said, she followed the girl toward the door, as ready as she could be about facing off the merciless robots.

Thomas mentioned using him as a shield, and an indignant breath of air passed down through her nose as she exhaled. “Forgive me for saying this, Tommy-boy... but you need a mutation that doesn't make you a martyr.

After finding suitable under clothing Cammi went to her closet and proceeded to dig around for a shirt. “Truce?” she asked while picking up a dark purple v necked shirt. “What kind of truce?” Cam was, curious but if Aren didn’t want to share details, she wouldn’t pry.

While Aren pulled himself up off the floor, Cammi had decided on a black t-shirt with The Bat Symbol on it. When she turned from her closet she saw Aren up, eyes shut and extremely disheveled looking. “Sorry, needed some light.” An eye brow arched up on her forehead as she admired his suit. “Ya know, you must have looked handsome last night. Why didn’t we dance? I didn’t show up that late, did I?” she walked by him, smiling. “But the ruffled exhausted look suits you too.” The chameleon winked as she proceeded to turn her back and strip her pjs off.

“Don’t I what?” she asked when Aren replied to him not being in her bed. “Oh don't even try to pull that. I tried to get you into my bed but you seemed to be happy right where you flopped. And I do mean ‘flopped’. You weren’t graceful when you stumbled in.” The native’s next comment about helping Cammi get dressed made her smile, her cheeks turning a bit pink. “You can help, but I have a feeling that if you told me what to wear, I wouldn’t be wearing much at all.” The girl had slimmed down to nothing but her boy shorts, back still facing Aren. “And if you need aspirin I might have some in the night stand. Maybe. You can search if you want.”

A few seconds later sirens began going off, followed by the sound of footsteps running through the mansion. Cammi heard Aren say something under his breath before walking to the window. “Aren? Whats going on?” she asked. Holding her T-shirt to her front Cammi walked over to the window as well.

Science projects? Who the hell makes projects that big?! “Oh my god….” breathed the girl as she watched the robots touch down on the lawn. People were out front, some standing there like idiots others running around. Some even had a reddish light on them. A scanner of some sort? The rumbling of another robot nearing was combined with something coming over her com. Heading to the bed and picking it up, the voice was the Alpha leader:

“Alpha’s—This is an update. We will be mobilizing outside in the courtyard. Do NOT engage one of the robots alone. They are armed, and dangerous.”

What the heck was a sentinel? The hell if she knew but the sound of a window being completely smashed in was something Cammi knew very well, and whatever had done it was very close. The floor rocked beneath her feet and the window Aren and her had been standing at cracked from the force. “Holy s**t, what the hell is happening?” she sputtered while going to her door to see what was going down in the hall. The minute the girl stepped out of her room she was assaulted by someone who was running down the hall, away from the broken glass. “Ooof!.” Cammi grunted as she was knocked backwards, the batman t-shirt falling to the ground a few feet from her.

“I think I was just hit by a train….a real one…” she moaned while sitting up. In front of her was girl, a redhead (Kerrigan) who Cammi was pretty sure she should know by name, but didn’t. “Hey, you ok what…eek!” she squeaked when she noticed, mid sentence, that she was topless and that her cover had been knocked out of her hands. The robots invading the schools grounds had distracted her from getting dressed so to remedy the situation Cammi immediately changed her body to mimic the hallway behind her. The only thing that gave her away as a mutant was her eyes and pink boy shorts.

The blond Brit tended to be a very static individual. Her belief system was infinitely complicated, and near impossible to predict or change… The thought of being her own little island comforted her in some way that most either wouldn’t understand, or think it some form of isolationist leader crap. ..Which, it may have been. But the Red Queen would never fess up to that. The mandatory therapy sessions she’d been abducted into with Jean were proof of her stubbornness. No matter what the red head tried to get her to crack her shell…Narcissa didn’t budge. Nevertheless, very little had actually changed since Madison had taken her hiatus.

You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to keep some of them on the team. And it’s not because they’re getting beaten bloody in fights and training. It’s for failing classes.”, the sun goddess responded without missing a beat, small nose crinkling in clear distaste. “For failing Gym.”

Who the hell failed Gym in a Mutant Academy? Seriously? Some of her Danger Room sessions could be more serious and or dangerous than some of the Phys Ed courses. Logan could be a slave driver from time to time… But Narcissa had come to appreciate his training techniques. The students either followed directions, or they wound up flying head first into the pool.

It annoyed her occasionally that the Professor could get away with threatening Scott’s life on a regular basis, and she got chastised everytime she sneezed incorrectly. Though she couldn’t complain often…If anyone dealt in double standards, she did. Mostly, because she was the one enforcing them.

She nodded her head when Madison affirmed that at least for the time being, she would remain among them. That was good…The Omega’s were traditionally fully staffed, and for the most part power houses. It would be good to have someone that wouldn’t get killed thirty seconds into a mission. Though apparently, this time…The Omega’s were supposed to sit this one out? Why? They’d been sent after Magneto…Why not giant buckets of rust?

Narcissa’s blue eyes had long since burned to white, a far more threatening shade than their normal hue. She mentally chewed on Emma’s warning, prepared to let the net hit her if necessary. Metal was…For the most part, something that still melted when it came in contact with her skin once she turned up the heat. Not to mention, it was a net. If a bloody damn, glorified butterfly catcher brought her down… She would kiss an Alpha.

Thankfully, Madison unknowingly saved her from slobbered on by a blue blood dog later on by using one of her psychic blades to slice the net in two. Narcissa wouldn’t stand by and watch one of her own get crushed while waiting for Mommy and Daddy to come and save them…Once the robot attacked them—Sought to ‘detain’ them….There was no pause in her thought process. They would fight. Consequences be damned.

Daylia's voice came over her comm and she breathed out slowly. Eyes on the machine. "There are story tall Terminators attacking. Frost wants us to steer clear and avoid...Provoking them. We have two in the back yard, near the shooting range and the hedge maze."

No where in her communication did she order the Omega outside... But anyone that had known the blond more than ten minutes would know that she'd only included her location-- Because she expected the team member to meet her there.

“We’ve been through too much to be bloody coddled now.”, she murmured to the Chameleon...Knowing that her advisor would furiously receive the response as well. Her hands rose and her body burned, shining from within. The white light that formed in her palm swirled and grew into a large circular blast as she took aim for the robots head. It wasn’t the strongest attack…But it would give her a good idea of what they were dealing with.

Hitting it in the head made the most sense to her. Everything was all about the head or heart.

Hearing Madison’s request she switched the trajectory of her blast in the last second and released a solid burst at what would be the robots knee cap. The light screamed as it left her control and careened into the machine without mercy. Steam rose from the metal as it stumbled, as it dropped, yellow eyes glowing as it tried to catch itself.

The sun goddess was perturbed that her blast hadn’t burned through the metal joint like butter. It was still intact…Just badly scorched and damaged. What the hell was it made out of?

She drew another ball of unbearably cruel heat from her core, platinum blonde hair falling around her as she burned through the clip she’d worn it in to exercise. Before she could discharge it, a thick, red beam of light caught the robot in the chest—The sheer force of it causing it to fall backwards.

She knew where that came from without looking. Of course, Emma would sent her least favorite person to baby sit. “We’ve got this Cyclops.”

“Don’t any of you know how to follow orders anymore? It’s for your own good. These are the things that destroyed Genosha. Mutant Hunters. They’re called sentinels. The less they know about you the better.”, Scott responded to Narcissa as he stepped forward, touching the side of his visor to adjust the beam. Fortunately for them the Headmaster was an experienced leader first…An annoyed superior second. He fully believed the remaining X-Men capable of handling this…They would already be in the robots databases. A secret identity would be all that protected the students from them. Once he had the Sentinel that was stalking down Gabriel and a returned Michael in his sights, he took another shot. The robot took it to the shoulder, and though it stumbled…. It didn’t fall.

He silently raised his comm to his mouth and gave the formal order to change directives…This generation was far too hard headed. Scott had expected Narcissa to misbehave… But he’d never expected it of Isabella. Something was very wrong with the usually level headed Alpha leader. ~Attention teams Alpha and Omega…~

Ruby quartz covered eyes remained on the robots that seemed…Just a little too gentle. ~Since your team leaders have developed hearing problems— We rescind the order to stand down. Seek your team leaders for commands as you would out in the field. Use ONLY your codenames.~

There was no more talk as Scott returned to the task at hand, dealing with the bloody killing machines before they changed protocol. It would only be so long before they started shooting to kill. He was sure of it.

Narcissa blinked when Scott changed his mind so quickly. She’d not expected that… But she wasn’t about to argue either. Not if these were what he claimed them to be…Sentinels… She’d only ever heard of them. The blond had never seen them with her own eyes. “Omega’s—No time to suit up. News flash. There are giant…Sentinels attacking the school. If you’ve been sitting with your thumb up your arses and haven’t noticed, I suggest you get out here now. We will be assisting the X-Men in defending the Academy from the back of the mansion.”

If she would have known Michael was on his way out—She would have expressly forbidden it. She fully expected him to follow orders…Funny, considering she’d just done the opposite.

Ah, double standards.

Her feet left the ground as she hovered, the air around her shimmering from the sheer heat she exuded…None of these…Sentinels would be doing here, what they did on Genosha. They would never allow it. Never.

The Sentinel that she’d shot the knee cap of seemed to be trying to stabilize and right itself. The sun goddess raised her hand and the glowing light flattened as she willed it, ignoring the faint pressure between her eyes as she forced her energy into an unnatural shape. It was thin… Like a discus. Her intention was a little more primitive—Hoping to cut the robots leg out from beneath it and keep it grounded. It went through the air much like her blast had, a speeding saw of light.

Already damaged, the robot swayed, but instead of trying to catch itself, it raised its palm at her and a panel opened. Suddenly the sound of gunfire echoed in the air as it shot at her…Surprised by the use of bullets she twisted around the edge of the mansion, using it to protect her.

Taking a split second to aim, she shot several more bursts of light back towards the machine—Not realizing right away that she hadn’t escaped the hail of gunfire unscathed. Bright orange liquid fell from her upper right arm, sizzling as it hit the ground.

It seemed that the more they fought…The more aggressive the robots got. They went from moving slowly, to moving rather quickly—surprisingly agile for something that large.

~Reinforcements required. Mutant entities hostile and dangerous to humanity. They require elimination.~

The grinding voice of the Sentinel was something she could feel in her bones when it spoke…Reinforcements?

“Bollocks.”

Looking around the corner, she threw another few well aimed blasts at the already damaged knee—Causing the Sentinel to hit the ground as the metal gave way and broke off.

Hitting her comm, she sent out a broadcast announcement that went to all of her team mates devices. "When you arrive, work at as unit. Focus on damaging the Sentinel in the same place with targeted attacks. I suggest the joints..."

"Try and guide the fight away from the school."

Marcel sat in the chair in the Lounge as he was still unsure of what he would exactly do for the moment. He rubbed his head slightly, waiting for the Acetaminophen to kick in and rid him of the minor headache he had at the moment. He looked towards Thomas when he had waved at him and said something. He was quite unsure of if he could even call this morning a god one or a bad one. What was something when it was not good or bad? Neutral? He took a mental note in his head as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Well I think this would be a neutral morning...Neither good or bad for me." He then thought about it for a second. He did not even eat anything for breakfast. He slowly got up and walked off towards the vending machines, stopping for a few when he had heard Blake ask him if he had a good night. Maybe that was his cue to rant about how he did not have a good time. He chuckled a little before turning to face Blake. "Not really...Are all proms supposed to be boring and give you headaches in the morning?" It was his first time at an event like that and at the rate it was going, it certainly would be his last. With that, he walked off to the vending machines, but he would be back hopefully.

After settling on a bag of fruit snacks, peanuts, and a bottle of Orange Juice, he walked back out the lounge area. He was not really hungry, so going to fix a slightly big meal in the kitchen was going to be a waste. He could hardly cook anything for that matter. After nibbling on the fruit snacks and peanuts, he began to drink the Orange Juice. When he was done, he tossed it all in the trash and began playing with the water in the bottle that he originally had. He could not control ice and he wondered if he ever could. He thought that it would be a cool addition to his powers, but he would not complain if all he could do was just control Water and other liquid based things that had water in it. He moved his fingers in a spindling formation, watching as the ice spun in the bottle fast from him moving the water inside it around, playing around with it for a good couple of minutes while the others in there continued to converse among themselves. He took a sip from it when the ice was melting slightly from what he had to assume was because of it being moved around. If his comm was going off in any form or way, he was not paying attention to it in the slightest. He honestly felt like a caveman with that device at times.

After a good while had passed he felt something full of some kind of liquid, possibly water, but it felt a little more slippery. He was not really good in sensing different kinds of liquid yet other than water and blood. It probably was some kind of oil if he had to guess. He did take pride in knowing that the Academy was built to help mutants. To help him better his skills with his abilities as well as get him out of his shell? He had to wonder about the shell part just as he had to wonder though who exactly bring a huge set of oil or whatever it was towards the school. He got up to get ready to check it out, but he stopped a little when he noticed that Isabella had arrived to the Lounge as well. He noticed that she was fixated on something outside as she went straight for the window rather than saying anything to anyone. With the window being oversized, he did not have to take a guess that whatever it was that was lugging a lot of oil, water....something? He still had no idea, but whatever the substance was, it was inside of a huge robot easing its way to the mansion.

Upon being informed by the Headmistress not to get involved, he thought about what he could do. He honestly had no idea what kind of mad game these humans were playing by sending out robots to the mansion, but what he did know was that his father told him something similar about robots that came to capture mutants. He had to assume that they came because the school did not go to get registered. He turned when he heard Thomas ask a question about their giant robotic friend. After a short period of seconds went by, it was Blake who answered his question while also helping Marcel remember what the name of the robots were. Sentinels. If that was the case, he was not about to stick around in an area where it had a huge scope of him. Not sticking around to hear the others converse, he began to look around for water. He was not running like a coward. He was trying to get out of focus from the thing and that was assuming they did not have infrared.

When he thought he was out of focus, he was then instructed to do something else by Isabella this time and at that time he was already in the hallways near the dorms. He was heading to the bathrooms as well as anything else that had a good source of water. The bottle in his hand was of no major use to him at the moment. He liked that plan a whole lot better than being told not to do nothing. With that, he proceeded to head for the Courtyard like he was instructed. Along his way, he heard the sound of loud crashing nearby and the sound of a Robotic Voice. Had one of the Sentinels managed to try and catch someone. He looked at a fountain nearby. He was not sure of how much good it would do, but he could stall it to help whoever it was. He began whistling lightly as he looked at the water fountain, easing his way to the side of it.

"Oops.." he said as he began to fiercely kick the fountain on its sides until it broke off, Water spewing out harshly. The Sentinels were attacking so he could blame destruction on them. It was their fault technically. He stopped the water in it's tracks as it began to move in the direction of where he heard the loud sounds coming from instead. The thing with water was that if it had enough pressure, it could cut through things. Though he was by far nowhere near being able to manipulate an entire amount of water to have it be able to do so, he could work on a small amount like with his bottle. The fountain was for him to get more reserves in case he needed it. He was instructed not to engage in fighting them on his own, so if push came to shove, all he could do for the moment was perform a rescue and evac procedure. With that, he proceeded down the hallways, the bottle top shooting off the bottle as the water inside of it had caused the ice to launch up and tear it off, the ice hurdling towards the Sentinel like some kind of bullet from the water being pressurized. Upon his arriving on the scene, he noticed that someone (Kerrigan) was running. When he glanced over some he noticed a set of floating pink shorts and a Batman T-shirt. Before he possibly got yelled at, he turned and looked at Kerrigan noticing that his communicator went off again. That time it was Cyclops instructing them to meet up with their leaders and to use only their codenames. He looked at them both. He had no idea what to call the person who was blending in and no idea what Kerrigan's code name was due to the fact that he hardly had a lot of conversations with her or most of the Omegas. He hardly talked to a lot of the Alpha's as well. He began speaking. "Well, my codename is Tsunami s uh....As soon as you get your shirt on, we can get out of here before our agitated gigantic friend feels the need to retaliate. I have orders to get to the Courtyard, but we can fill this all in later." He said that all in a very fast manner that made him wonder if he was in any league with the Chipmunks. He waited on them before trying to do anything else, especially since he has no idea on how effective a chunk of ice would be against something made of metal.

"I sure as hell wasn't expecting any guests, but it looks like we're not disregarding them anymore" Leion replied to Jacen and Scott's comm message. Its was shortly followed by Narcissa's comm message to forgo uniforms and get outside as soon as possible. "Lets just hope these things aren't using anything our uniforms protect against, huh?"

"I guess I'll see you out there, Kraken" he said nodding at Jacen as he headed out to the kitchen to use the exit in there. From the windows he could see several blasts of light colliding with the leg of one of the robotic monstrosities along with the sound of gunshots Great these things are using bullets, if Narcissa was doing this little damage to them then they must be made of tougher stuff than the demons from Limbo. He would have to concentrate his energy like when he was trying to catch up with the others in Limbo. He created a small orb of his energy without condensing it and left it floating where it was, with the sentinel focusing it's attention on Solaris he was free to set up something that he didn't usually have the time to.

With the floating distraction orb he took a note from Narcissa and hid behind one of the small decorative walls behind the kitchen and took aim at the area she had been blasting and began concentrating his energy until he believed he had a decent amount charged. He then propelled the orb forward and fired the energy concentrated from his hand at the knee Solaris was firing at, it had been awhile since he had fired such a shot and was thrown back from the force of it. Upon regaining his footing he could see that some of the armor on the leg had split open, revealing wires and other such circuitry. He had missed his intended area, but at least he had done some damage.

"Ah, the 90's... the good times." he replied. The 90s era indeed have a lot of good things before the next decade arrived. There was transformers action figures, power rangers, dragonball z the list went on. Then, seconds after he complimented the 90s, he remembered elementary and the bad moments that outweighed the good moments. Being nearly buried in ice packs in elementary school from his skin overheating and 1st to 2nd degree burns to kids around him. Yeaaah those were times Dimitri didn't bother remembering or talking about. Instead he just wrapped it up in one sentence. "On second thought, just some times, the rest sucked."

When he heard that if he ended up going back on his word he was going to get "wasted", immediately he thought of Grand Theft Auto and smiled at the thought. As for anyone starting rumors, according to his "reuptation." it would be too easy to kill them. Really, all he had to do is just say that she didn't want to put out, so he left and found someone who was down to and most would eat it up like an ice cream sundae. But more than likely his picture would be next to the word a*****e if he did something to that extreme. "Haha wasted? Who the hell uses that nowadays? You part of the mafia aren't you?" followed by another grin on his face saying that he was just teasing around.

Their pillow talk(without the intercourse before) session seemed to get better when they were actually making physical contact with each other. The back and forth humor going on between the two only made it better. "Actually I'm more of a part time santa at the moment, just in case the big guy has last minute bowel problems or the clothes don't fit after putting on some extra baggage." The playboy explained before answering her second question with a few knocks on his cranium. "I have a list in my head somewhere."

But their session soon came to a violent freeze when he heard the screeching sounds of the school alarms going off wildly. His eyes winced in pain from the sudden sound. Did Narcissa tinker with the alarms as well!? Even if she did, there was no way she suddenly developed the ability to rattle the damn earth. "What the hell-" he wondered before his eyes widened and froze in fear from the sounds that came with the noise. The tone of machinery that traveled through his ears was the culprit. Part of Dimitri knew exactly what it was, but he had to see it for himself. It has been so long since he encountered...one of them. He got up after Daylia and rushed to the window. Once he saw what it was, a fist slowly balled up in rage as the past events with a Sentinal ran through his head. From encountering one when he and his sister were fighting mutants who tried to harm them during his graduation, to his last moments with his sister.

His last words and hug from her before he would never see or hear from her again since coming here.

"Nicole..."

A tear would have tried to break free and escape from his eyes but his rage wouldn't allow it; his fist so clenched up at this point it began to shake uncontrollably. Any mental words he would have received would have been ignored. He found it...insulting that Frost or Summers thought that they were just going to sit back and let the Sentinels wreck everything. Or the fact that they called them robots instead of their true name. "They're not robots...robots go down with no effort. They're sentinels...pieces of junk specifically armored to fight mutants....I'm going out there." he told D in a determined tone, power walking to wherever his shoes and shirt were. He was seen rolling up his sleeves when he had heard his leader override the last orders and that they were going to meet up in the courtyard. Someone had just earned more cool points with Dimitri.

"Yeah, we're armed and dangerous as well. Look at who you're talking to B." he replied to Siren in an assuring tone.

"Let's go...I don't want you here like a sitting target, especially when i find you interesting and you make me laugh." he advised to the Chameleon with a smile; part of his words fused with concern and care for her and another to mask it. From there Dimitri would head out the quickest way to the courtyard, using his gymnastic skills and martial arts skills to evade and do his best to avoid capture. It wouldn't have been a walk in the park for Dimitri but at least it would have been easier. Once he was in the courtyard he was ready to put a hole through the robots..every single one of them. Dimitri, since the mall incident and his talk with Warp had put in 7-10 hours of training in the danger room(mentioned on page 7). As far as he was concerned he was the only one on the Alpha team that clocked in the most hours. All he needed was some space so that nobody around him would get hurt and s**t can start to go down the way the Playboy wanted it.

The grumpy magnetokinetic gave a slight wave to Vee as Raine introduced him to her, although they'd already met the night before. He didn't speak, nor look over his shoulder. It very well could have been misinterpreted as cold or borderline hostile, with the aura that he gave off at the moment But his social awkwardness mixed with an interrupted sleep, one that was to be before a lazy day at that. He didn't bother to say anything to anyone or make eye contact as he finished making his breakfast and head out of the kitchen. At first it would seem that he was being irresponsible with his dishes; however, as he walked away, the pan and spatula lifted from the stove and into the sink, where the handle was turned and the water ran over the dishes.

Eli stopped for a second as a fork caught up to him and landed on his plate, and as the fork fell, so did the dishes in the sink, softly, to not cause a ruckus while others were talking.

He continued to make his way up to his room where he'd enjoy a nice comfortable breakfast, and get to work on his projects today. He plugged in his headphones and sat on his laptop beginning his research.

Several moments passed as he read works online and collected the needed data, only to be interrupted by his comm.

“Alpha’s—This is an update. We will be mobilizing outside in the courtyard. Do NOT engage one of the robots alone. They are armed, and dangerous.”

A morning that arrived too soon, and a project session cut too short, today was not Eli's day. There was no time to change or gear up, the closest thing he had to equipment was his board, it wasn't intended for combat, but considering there were hulking metal giants around, he'd need to be able to get around quick if the situation demanded of such. He grabbed his board and pulled the door open with his ability and went running to the courtyard.

~~~~
Finally making it to the courtyard he addressed his team leader, panting slightly and waiting for instructions. He was standing there, in sweatpants, a hoodie, loafers and his board in hand, if anything, he'd look like a some punk skater. "Railgun reporting in." He said softly to Siren, he looked around to the rest of those who were present, Sleet, Allegra, Landslide, Renaissance Man, Copy Cat, and Amarillo.
"Siren, if we can get me close to one of them, I can start ripping stuff apart internally on them, and once I pinpoint where the core functioning unit is, I can do it more accurately, especially with a hole in them... or..." He began to trail off, he didn't like what he was about to suggest, since it brought up the memory of back at Catalina, where he'd shot Bella with one of his BBs while under the influence of the chemical agent. "or... worst case scenario, I can force myself into an overload... He hesitantly muttered. It'd take a bit of continual strenuous use of his powers to do it, but the EMPs would hopeful do a good job, it was mainly the damage to himself and the released EMR that worried him. "..But, that's worst case." He said before quieting down again and waiting for something to happen.
