Mot grinned like a fiend, taking the tatzel's hand and lifting her onto his stage (table). "You're fun! I like you." He said with a nod. It was time for more dancing!  Dirty Dancing. Table Dancing.

"There you are!" Roch said, racing after her. "You're just so... short," he said, trying to excuse his slowness in finding her and failing. "Hey, I really, REALLY suck at dancing, but after the Bandit just went flying through the air I doubt anyone cares," he said, grinning and offering her a hand. "Y'wanna dance?"

"Heh... well I guess this does make it easier on me," Jericho chuckled as he continued to dance until the song had ended. Well that wasn't too bad. No one was flung around like a ragdoll. No feet were stepped on. And over all it was just a fairly pleasant experience.
"That was kinda fun," he admitted as he turned to head back to the table with Lizzy. Only... he paused as he saw Riley and Mot go at it in dance. It was highly amusing to say the least, especially when the latter started to get onto the table.
"Looks like the cowboy got the spark back into him," he grinned.

It was kind of amusing to hear Mitsu speak normally without sounding nervous or stuttery. It just proved that she had the capacity in herself.. she just needed to relax and gain some confidence. Thinking back on that dilemma, Shun wondered just how he might be able to boost that aside from compliments. That alone probably wouldn't help a great deal.
He didn't get too much time to think on it as suddenly Mot was up on the table dancing with Levi.
"What the hell?" He furrowed his brow as he moved some of the plates to try and save them from being trampled over. Getting food footprints on their table wouldn't be very.. nice.

" Roch! There you are! You're tall." she said, relieved. As he said the part about dancing she nodded and pulled him onto the dance floor. Then, with a swift smile to Roch and the other dancers, Claire started to dance with Roch. (GOD I SAID DANCE SO MANY TIMES)

Roch tried his best not to look like a total spaz as he danced with her (and failed a little) but she seemed happy.
"Demi said that we should get our pictures taken, I think they got a place for that. And that we should go meet and talk to people, but you know more people than I do, so you're gonna haveta lead." It was strange how he was so capable of avoiding being hit, but so lousy at shaking his groove thing.
Then again, he could be worse. He could be like Mot, he thought cheerfully, glancing at the table dance with amusement.

Calder turned his head, listing it up only to whisper into the horseman's pointed ear. "I'm fine. It's just a slow song, and I wanted to rest my head on your shoulder." If Invictus was going to be straight forward, maybe that would appeal to him. Calder hoped the horseman would give him that much.
But it wasn't his date that broke off the slow dance so abruptly. Suddenly the music changed to something odd and bizarre that Calder huffed and rose his head back up, standing straight as he stopped and looked up at the DJ with a very sharp glare. Honestly! Could he at least get a few seconds to being physically close to his date? JUST A BIT?!!!
To couple such a strange song, he noticed Riley and some boil dancing like a bunch of lunatics - and not the good type of lunatics some parents hoped their children would aspire to be someday.
Rolling his eyes, Calder gestured and walked with Invictus off the dance floor to leave more room for....body flinging. "Are you having some fun?" He asked, unsure if he was just boring his date to tears.

"I-It is being very nice to be putting your face to your name, as I am going by your Groanspring picture to find you." Tsetsiliya's face held her smile when Petro seemed to relax himself. Good Jack, he was rather tall! But he seemed to be rather polite and easy going.. perhaps tonight, she thought optimistically, would definitely work out well for all three of them. However Tsetsiliya's smile quickly flashed to a look of surprise as Petro dropped down on one knee and offered out the two bouquets. Her blush returned in full force and her hands reached up to fiddle with her chain belt.. only to find it was not there. A moment passed and she recalled she had decided to leave it off for the evening, and instead she clasped her hands together.
My, this boil was doing everything by the book!
"T-thank you!" she stammered, and gathered the offered bouquet into her arms. She liked that he had taken the time to pick colors suiting for both of them, her bouquet in yellow and Colette's in red and black. Needless to say, she approved of Petro's efforts. She approved a lot. It was not often that she got flowers; she was idly wondering if there would be a cup and some water inside so she could keep them fresh enough to last the night, for her to plant when she got back to her room. "They are wonderful." She beamed brightly at him, and turning a little more towards Colette, she offered her smile in that direction as well. At the very thought of the next step, her nerves set to stirring again, but it was a good kind of stirring. The anticipating kind. "Now then, shall we be going inside?"

Pleased. Pleased was good. Pleased was very good. Distantly, Barth thought the comment sounded a bit like something one would say to their Contractee, and found he wasn't bothered by this in the least.
...But with the song over, there was another situation that had Barth's attention.
Namely, Claire's date kept sneaking off.
He wasn't actually sure how he felt about his sister having a date. But he was sure how he felt about her having a bad one.
Barth leaned away from Lilith with the new, outrageous song, smiling, and then looking distractedly at Claire. "If you'll err, if you'll excuse me for a second. There's something I have to- err... I'll get you some punch on the way back," He slid ineloquently Claire-ward.
Claire was heading dejectedly towards the chairs. Normally, he encouraged loafing, but... he started to clear his throat, when the situation resolved itself. During his long walk over, her date had returned. Not that Barth had planned to do much about it in the first place, he supposed. But now that he'd wandered all the way over here. It seemed like a shame to just...wander all the way back across the dance floor.
"...Hello Claire," he said. He hadn't really talked to her since he'd, well, hallucinated that she had died. "...Think I might be able to have the next, err, dance?"

Joachim felt awkward standing outside the heavily decorated door that every so often he could hear the melodies drift out when another student shoved the doors open. Stuffing his hands into his pockets, his fingers looking for the familiar warm fuzzy body of his mice yet all he could feel was the neglected lint at the bottom. Merel squeaked as her small foot tapped the top of his skull as she impatiently waited to join the festivities, and possibly the treats, that were inside. She was the only one Joachim had the unfortunate luck of bringing along with him then again he had the worse time trying to pull her from his hair when she found out that he had no plans inviting her. Now she was wearing a muted blue boy that matched Joachim and was having a fit because Taryn was late.
Personally, Joachim didn't mind that she was late the longer that he wasn't inside the better he didn't have to show off the failure of a dance moves and the fact that he had two left feet. He was sure that as soon as they got into prom he would end up embarrassing not only himself but his date and making it the worse night for her possible. Joachim couldn't help but feel a little bit of regret in putting his name into the box for a blind date it was probably better if he had just stayed in his dorm room and avoided the entire gathering all together.
"Oh well.... too late to back out now....," Joachim replied muttering under his breath as he paced in front of the door again.

It was bad manners all around, but if the boil was going to challenge her, she wasn't going to back down. They could take this elsewhere. Well hang onta yer spurs, fella! We're trottin' outta here! Follow if ya can!And the cowboil did. They bounded off the table and trotted along, showing their fancy foot work in unison, ending with a twirl. Mot brought the tatzel spinning in towards him, and she span herself back out. Her dress frilled and fanned out catching the lighting as she did so. Her spin ended when she successfully slid back into her seat. Smooth. She smirked back at Mot as she picked up her drink again and sipped like it never even happened.

Dekana was beginning to wonder why he'd bothered to come. This formal outfit was stuffy and difficult to wear and he'd not really garnered any attention from the people around him. Sulking, he padded towards the refreshment table and started piling a plate with food, intent on finding a place in a corner to sit down at.
All of the boils and ghouls were enjoying the dancing, tearing up the floor in their humourous and fanciful moves but the Panther contented himself to watching as he lingered by the punch bowl for a few minutes, idly nibbling on the snacks he'd gathered up.

Claire's amazingly great dancing had an interruption.
Barth.
Claire liked Barth.
Claire put up her index finger to Roch as if to say 'One minute!'.
"Hello, Barth!" Claire looked at Roch and then back to Barth, then back to Roch. As her index finger was still up, she moved into Barth's chest and said to Roch "Brother." and then her index finger fell as she said "One dance and then I'll be right back okay!"

Roch would not mind that Claire's amazing dancing was envied and since Claire was so nice, she would share her dancing around.

Ash looked down at Cady as the Manticore sat up from where she was previously passed out. "Decided to wake up, huh? What happened, you had too much sugar already? Geez." She waved a hand, as though to say 'never mind' and suddenly reached out to grab Cady by the arm and drag her over.
"Come here, I've got an idea."
She flipped off her microphone so no one could over hear the whispers that Aislin shared with her fellow ScreeJay, but she DID keep glancing out towards the dance floor, a look of mischief about her.
