As Kin and Knives would work their way towards each other the batsage would glide down next to Knives and take the weapon from his hand. Reaching into a chamber on it, the sage removed what appeared to be a miniturized scroll from it. "Its called a Rapid Kunai launcher. After your village found them before the great tidal of Sawasti, they began to work and manufacturer them, in Suna style of course. Just like other weapons, the elements can be added to them, though all one must do is know how to properly work the weapon and create the scroll for ammo. Good job finding this."
Shiroi's detonatation was probably alot less explosive then what she had thought it would be. This would be because the explosive the Bat sage had given her was shaped to a single direction penetrating the orb and destroying its influence over the people of rouran. Additionally, the chakra pattern that James and Doc were exhibiting returned a little more to normal, menaing the genjutsu could now finally be broken.
Manfread's use of atheltic Hyuuga ability would make the attackers weary, as a man had so quickly and rapidly gragged the kunai that were quickly launched...and was completely unharmed. Then the explosive tags blew up, causing the tower beneath them to crumble slightly causing them to fall to the ground. One would fall, and land on its feet, with his back to the alley way that Kamiya was on. The one was not so lucky, landing on his head with a sickening crack. Another would land, about 50 feet from Manny and point his palm, unleashing a torrent of "Extreme decapitating air waves." The last one feel, landing on its feet, and knives would notice an accumulation of water needles in the air, all aiming at him. Suddenly they would quickly moving, bursting into motion to scewer and kill Kin.
But this was not all of the worlds problems.....

In the distance there was a great roar, a roar so loud that it filled the sky and shook the earth. The sand in the city would all start to tumble toward the Eastern Gate, rolling against the wind. As soon as the roar passed, a suffocating amount of Chakra bore down on all within the Old Capital's borders. At the Eastern Gate, underneath the feet of a wanderer, the sand began to rise. It rose, carrying the traveler upward with it, and quickly coalesced into a form not unlike a tanuki's. This was a figure straight out of the myths, a being of pure energy. Shukaku roared once more. Behind the Tailed Beast, Gedou Mazou sank back into the ground.
If someone were to look to the southwest, that person would see a very strange cloud formation.

Trouble Making Outfit
Standing atop Shukaku, chakra reins in hand, a lean woman smoked a long Parisian cigarette. "Jigsaaaaaaw," she yelled at the top of her lungs, tapping upon an amber pot embedded in Shukaku's forehead at her feet. Holding on for a second to the pot, she would let go after a response was given or not. It did not matter at this point, as a large meteor began to descend into the atmosphere, headed for Rouran. Its shadow would grow larger & larger as it approached, garnering attention even from those as far away as Kumogakure. Shukaku on the other hand, didn't bother to stand around, either. In front of its great draping maw, a balanced orb of light & dark chakras swirled around each other, mixing with passionate distaste for his current surroundings. As a wisp of smoke twirled up from her pipe, the great Nekita purred.

Popping out of James's scroll, the teaching sannin appeared and immediately began barking orders, forming a clone right next to him.
"James! Take the team and have them take down that massive chakra source! Take as many people outside of the city as you can...in case i fail...."
Giving the clone a technique, at the same time a cylinder began to form, and the clone seemed to be ready to go into it. Pulling out a scroll, San prepared for step two. Silently, the Bat sage came gliding in, a few steps behind the satetsu user and silently bestowed a technqiue to his clone. Turning on his heel, the ninja, through his blindfold, glared at the Bat sage. Knowing this day would come, the bat sage spoke.
"You are just like him, even in the plan you are trying to perform. Its so funny to see you like this, Raizen's Jiton ability was unparalleled, but you inherited you ninjutsu skills from your mother. Her doton skills...her ability far surpassed even mine. I gave your clone the ability to fly, so the weight reducing technique can be as effective as it can be."
Not having time to process what he had just heard, San's clone went into the cylinder and was magrail launched, colliding with the first meteor. The clone utilized the ultra light weight rock technqiue on the meteor. Down on the ground below, San unrolled the scroll and slammed his hand down on it. Instantly, thick pillars of rock began to spurt out of the ground in the city, springing up high above the city of towers. Earth and sand began to form from the outside of the city and flow over the pillars, forming a ramp for the now greatly reduced weight of the meteor to roll safely away from the city, into the desert. From here, the golem of the desert itself would be able to aid them in its stop.
"We need to stop the next one!!!!"

Jigsaw's answering was his demise. "Evergreen no longer requires your services," Nekita seethed, a twitch of hatred flashing briefly across her face, an obvious sign that some kind of backroom deal was off. From across the long distance, the amber pot sucked at Jigsaw's body, ignoring the astral image entirely, for the weapon merely only needed for him to answer. Spirally through the vortex of energies, his last sight before disappearing into his confinement would be that of the woman's tail swaying back & forth in contentment. With the pot's lid back in place, Shukaku's mixing of light & dark energies finished, bursting out into a ball of mass destruction towards the ground. (ed. note: Bijuu ball) Burrowing far into the ground instead of exploding, a massive tunnel immediately came into existence, providing access to the lowest depths of Rouran's main tower. She had set up a 'purrfect distraction' with the meteors to allow time for her & the one-tailed to descend towards their goal, to which they began.
Even with the Ultra Lightweight Rock Technique, the sheer size of the first meteor would press down upon San's clone, poofing him as it met the grand ramp. Rolling off into the desert, the sand golem would tear the large lightweight meteor apart until nothing but dust remained, its destruction evident from the loud grating sounds. Alas, the second (& final) meteor continued its descent, forcing our protagonists to keep their potential attention towards the deadly distraction as Nekita & Shukaku burrowed into the subterranian rooms. With little time remaining for our heros and heroines, what could they do? Someone would have to save the day!

The bat sage looked to the first meteor, finding more similarities with Sanshi and his long lost friend. Truly he was growing into his role in the Sand village, just like those before him. Yet when the second meteor was on its way down, his usual stoic expression became one of fear, terror, but determination. "Go handle the chakra source Sanshi. Take your ninja and defend this land, defend these people, defend your village. You have....you have gifts you dont even know yet. A pedegree miles long...." Without another moment, sage took off in the air, almost without warning. He flew to the meteor like a rocket, allowing his determination and devotion to become his weapons. Once at the meteor, he too used the ultra light weight rock technqiue on it, but found that it was still to heavy for him to simply stop. What happened next, the Sand ninja would not be able to fully explain what happened next. In a roar or rage and energy, the bat sage seemed to be able to utilize an untold amount of strength to control the decent of the meteor, making it go outside the village, and making out to the desert where there were no people it could hurt. "It seems we must always make sacrifices, Raizen...Yudara...." The meteor impacted the desert sand, with the batsage underneath it.....

Red Hood  Sad musicThe Red Hood could barely believe his eyes. After all he had been through, after all the journies and trials he had faced. He had left his home, to find a true mission, a true life of purpose, only to run into Brock Vasner, who was the only one able to tame the caves and become the Sage of Bats, claiming to know who he was. Unknown to the red hood, this connection was true, an untold and unknown part of his families past. It was this connection that would allow him to take up his uniform, his costume, his symbol, and follow Brock into the worst places: Amegakure, otogakure, The Jashin infected Yukigakure. And he just sacrificed himself....sacrificed himself for this village, this city....that the red hood had left. Landing next to San, the Red hood voice was a little more coarse and harsh then usual. Was it because of the sacrifice of the bat sage, or the discussion with the Suna leader? "We just lost....a really great man. Someone who you should miss and will never know why. God Damn it!" Moving in a blur of motion, the Red hood was off. "Take your ninja and follow me, Sanshi Satetsu of Sunagakure, we need to defeat this person. " The hooded figure would then drop down the hole, following the people. |

San could only watch as this completely unknown warrior took flight, and made the meteor be redirected away from Rouran. How did this guy know who he was? And what the hell was he talking about his pedigree? And then the Red hooded figure knew who we has too. What the hell was going on! Forming a set of fast hand seals with his adept, sannin hands, a clone appeared on either side of him, following the Red hood down the hole. Meanwhile, the real San would use the Kagura shingan, looking deep into the cavarn to pinpoint the chakra source down in the caverns.
Speaking into the mic, and across the bonds golem, San sought out his time. "Suna ninja, regroup on me. We are going to have to go underground. Keep close, and in eachothers sight at all time. I need details about what has happened, you can fill me in once we have grouped up."
