Cloud

Cloud roared again, attempting to get something to happen. The roar was getting louder and louder steadily. Eventually, it would be a true predatory roar, but for now, it was still in the preliminary stages.

Cloud broke apart one of the skeletons, and it formed a shield. The shield sped back to Cloud, floating in front of him, and blocking every energy blast fired at him. He nodded with satisfaction, glad that he was protected from the ki blasts.

After a while of hiding behind his shield, Cloud stepped out from the side of it and threw another blast of flames at the twins, causing it to arc so it would be difficult to dodge. The skeleton was behind them, still charging. Now they would either face the skeleton, or run into the fire.

((How does Lillith have 14 strength?!? doesn't the gemini bloodline lower her strength by like, 1/3?))

"This is going nowhere." Naito said with a sigh. He wasn't going to continue to watch these weaklings 'fight'. He thought it was pitiful. One of them should be maimed, or dead by now in his opinion. So he walked out of the facility to find something more interesting.

As the roar struck, Liam and Lillith were pushed backwards and Lillith gripped her twin's hand tightly as she pivoted so that his body ended up behind hers while she tried to resist the sudden pressure that was pushing them backwards. Liam for his part was slightly stunned by the roar as his ears rung and did not even see the skeleton moving towards him with the ax. As the ax descended though Lillith saw it and yanked her twin towards her quickly before moving the last dozen feet towards Sky and launching a kick at his left leg. Lillith had felt the shock wave but was not as overwhelmed as her twin due to being deaf from birth.

As the sword was swung Liam was actually still disoriented though seeing from his sister's perspective he saw the danger. With a sudden tug on her to pull her back towards him his own hand releasing the snake sword's handle and drawing his gun then shot forward over her right shoulder. He squeezed the trigger twice aiming at Sky's face hoping to force the other to move his bone shield to block it both releasing the end of the snake sword and blinding him to them. If he did move the bone shield Lillith would release a ki barrage at him in an effort to shatter the shield. For that matter even if the shield did not move she would release the barrage to try and strike Sky though she was glancing over her left shoulder to keep an eye on the other skeleton as she shared what she saw with her brother and vice versa.

(Energy 353/438 - I realized I forgot to subtract 25 for bolt a couple posts back so that is taken into account on this post along with 25 for ki barrage.)

As the haze of flame burst forth Liam squeezed Lillith's hand and glancing to the right used Dash to move suddenly twenty feet to the right while his sister was dragged in his wake. Lillith winced as the force of the movement dislocated her right shoulder sending a wave of nausea through her body. With a tight gritting of her teeth she set herself in a defensive stance with her right arm limp at her side as Liam held the useless hand to keep their bond strong. Liam however had ceased firing his gun though it was still close at hand, it seemed that instead he was waiting for the skeleton to approach again as was Lillith. Just as Sky had decided to work to separate them, they wanted to make sure the odds stayed uneven.

Without even a nod to signal their intent the twins shifted as Liam moved to one side slightly to get a clear shot at the skeleton firing not simply at it's head but at the arm holding the ax. It seemed sensible that if it couldn't hold it's weapon it would be easier to deal with overall if not completely. Lillith meanwhile stared at the shield and waiting for it to be about to hit her lashed out in a single direct kick as it seemed about to hit her. This was a feint though as in actuality it was the beginning of another ki barrage with the kick being the first strike while three fast jabs followed by a hook and an uppercut would target the shield from a couple feet away. She would shift the punches as needed to hit the shield and as the force of the ki barrage would likely start breaking the shield down a few more kicks would hopefully finish it off. The pain from her shoulder flared with each movement but instead of simply feeding her pain it fed her rage as well.
