Noctis took heed to the various souls flying around them in an envelope of oxygen, obviously set off by someone. The obscure information Endevera provided him with was delayed as the approaching male came to his attention. He glanced over his shoulders, making sure the male was actually coming before he did anything to reflect his heed. Confirming his concerns, he turned around to fully look at the male, but did not get up. His tongue rasped against his dry lips, his pale blue eyes watching the male with a slight burning curiosity.

Endevera was a person that was not often nervous, but the presence of all the excess souls made her anxious. She hadn't collected a soul in some time - hadn't found one corrupt enough - and she could feel herself being drawn to the floating translucent wisps like a moth to a flame. It was not only Endevera's job to steal human souls - it was her living. She needed to be in contact with souls, or her own life forces would dwindle. Seeing all the souls reminded her of her slight hunger, and she sunk her nails into her skin unconciously. ✺✖✺✖✺ "Bloody humans. You think that your God can save you? How mad can you be!" ✺✖✺✖✺

Noctis glanced over at Endevera, registering how she seemed nervous. What was she so nervous about? The presence of the souls, or something else he couldn't comprehend. His pale eyes looked down at her nails, watching with dull interest as they sank into the indispensable skin tissue."Is there something... I can help you with?" He asked, knowing there was something internally ripping her apart.

As the the man in the mask drew nearer a more dark air came about him, which only grew darker each step he took. He stopped in front of them and began to speak. "Are you two Demons?" his words struck like lightning and commanded like thunder, yet the the air behind them was as cold as midnight.

But you wouldn't understand that, would you?" ✺✖✺✖✺ Endevera snapped out of her anxious trance and looked back at Noctis. "What..?" She asked, somewhat discombobulated. Then, feeling a sudden pain in her legs, she looked down and gritted her teeth. "Bloody Hell.." She mumbled and retracted her nails from her skin, purple-black blood oozing out of the small holes. "No, I was just a bit...distracted. Haven't eaten yet today." She said absently, smirking. In fact, Endevera didn't eat most days, requiring little nourishment. That was certainly not what was causing her unconcentration. But it seemed a feasible excuse, so she went with it. "One moment..." She said and put her hands to the ground. After a minute of silent sitting, out from under the ground rose a fresh pomegranate. Although it was dirty and covered with subterrainian materials of all sorts, it's bright red peel shone through and showed the quality of the fruit within. Endevera picked up the fruit - it was hot to the touch. Then, after wiping the dirt off on her coat absentmindedly, she ripped into it, not even thinking to peel it first. Although the outside had been steaming hot, the jewels of red inside were crisp and cold, and Endevera licked the juice off her lips hungrily as the beads burst inside her mouth. Still eating, she looked up at the man who had approached, having completely ignored his question while she had summoned the fruit. "What you say?" She mumbled through bites of pomegranate. ✺✖✺✖✺ "Bloody humans. You think that your God can save you? How mad can you be!" ✺✖✺✖✺

By what he had just observed he was sure they were demons. "Are you Employed by the Morning Star to collect corrupted souls?" he continued not caring she just ignored his question, he was up for a salad right now, maybe a raman. "And if so, how many do you collect regularly?" his voice came out like black smoke, as if a normal being heard him, they would die from shock. it was just for show.

Noctis looked back and forth between the male and Endevera. His eyes narrowed as he twitched his huffed silently."Collecting souls...? Had that been the objective she was hiding from me? What's so horrid about it?" He asked internally. Perhaps he didn't always act like a Daemon, but he knew he wasn't some sensitive noob. Besides sucking the life out of humans, also known as parasites to the demonic kingdom, collecting souls really wasn't am issue in his opinion. As long as it wasn't his of course, not that it was likely to happen. Plus... this fact obviously had to be for a more significant reason rather than just a sport.

Endevera's attention snapped to the strange man, and she snarled at him. "Morningstar..?" She grumbled. Then, realizing her odd reaction, she quickly relaxed herself and gave a small smirk to replace her anger. "No...Nope. I'm sort of on a private contract, you could say." She said and twitched. Endevera tapped her eyepatch instinctively at the man, and also as a sign of comfort to herself. Although other demons wouldn't think of soul collecting as a big deal, it was to Endevera. Endevera was, as much as she tried to hide it, one of the only demons who cared from humanity. Stealing souls from humans was almost like stealing souls from family for her. Adding that to her first time on the job...Endevera was very sensitive about her occupation. Now that she had become more comfortable with Noctis, she knew he wouldn't mind that much, but it was still a big thing for Endevera.

I find it hard to argue with THE BIBLE, considering that it IS the all mighty authority on everything related to the Christian religion, including notions of the devil or "Lucifer" as you put it.

I find it hard to argue with THE BIBLE, considering that it IS the all mighty authority on everything related to the Christian religion, including notions of the devil or "Lucifer" as you put it.Hmmmm, Lorem? Also to point out the fact that the relation ship between god and the devil exist in other monotheistic religions. the devil has many names through out the history of man, god, and the devil, and morning star was his original name even after he was thrown from the heavens. something along the line of god made him keep it that way to make fun of how far he fell.
