I don't believe it is favoritism but to be safe I even asked a thread on Gaia specifically for Yu-Gi-Oh http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/table-top-gaming/the-yu-gi-oh-thread/t.26425619_74432/#74432Though looking at the rulings, I realized I messed up. Sangan's effect wouldn't have applied.
