"I am a God!"
This close he would have to be numb to not feel her. But it was a sweetness that he had not felt in a long time. Fear. She was terrified. And her words, he soft, delicate whispers. They made him melt in a way that was akin to a fat kid eating chocolate cake. He physically shivered and then stood there for a moment. He took it all in.
"Oh. But it can be ..." Slowly he turned. His smile was as grand as ever. Twisted ever so slightly to add that little hint of insanity to his lips. "You see, dearest, when you and that other whore, Lucretia, kept getting away from me I decided it would be best if I got some answers for myself." He still had the materia floating in the palm of his hand when took a few steps towards the girl. "They really weren't hard to find at all. I don't honestly know why I didn't do it sooner."
He was still advancing on the girl. His voice getting more quiet as he got closer and yet it seemed, even in his whispers that he was yelling in a crazy voice. "The first fool I tortured told me nothing. It was bothersome, to say the least. But, things progressed nicely." He nodded and his eyes shot to the left as if he were recalling the screams the idiot had made. "The next man was more interesting. By leaps and bounds! Oh! And his family!" He looked giddy at this point. As if the story were really getting fun to listen to. "He told me everything I needed to know. But a man in his position, his sweet, innocent daughter." He closed his eyes and pursed his lips as he shook his body in another shiver. "Her screams were so beautiful. She cried at first. They all did. Begged for me to stop. You should have been there. Her tears. They tasted like heaven!"
Now he was only inches away from her. His breath, hot and heavy, close enough to feel on the delicate skin of her nape. "She truly was something beautiful. I peeled the skin from her flesh inch by inch. So soft. Silky smooth. You know," And now he turned to look her right in the eyes. His voice dropped into a deep, unsettling tone. "She reminded me of you, my love."

Terra Branford Terra didn't seem to move any further, or at all for that matter. Her body had frozen in fear the moment her eyes had settled onto the menacing clown. Was this some sort of game of twisted fate? Not in a million years would she have thought Kefka would be down here. Though, he had been missing for some time, and there wasn't many places to hide in to really stay hidden. Had she thought about it enough, maybe she would have clued in that this would be the perfect location for her most despised enemy.
It wasn't until he began to advance toward her, that her feet began to take a few steps back, all the while listening to his horrific words that she could only HOPE he was using to anger her, he wasn't...that twisted. There was no way... "....Y-You wouldn't have..." She managed to say, the thought of such a thing being true was beginning to mess with her own mind a little. "You didn't! ...Please....Tell me you didn't......"
As she took another step back, she would feel her body lightly hit against a jagged formation formed into a massive pillar to the ceiling of the cave. When in such a situation, and with Kefka of all people, actually looking where she was going might of helped her to not be caught so close to this horrible creature. "Stop! You didn't do those things! You...." She paused, her eyes unable to avoid his own wicked ones. Those last words sent chills down her spine like nothing before..."Stay away from me!" Suddenly, he would feel both her hands come to rest onto his shoulders in attempt to shove him back from her.

Kefka was awesome. Kefka was a being who had the magical might of the gods. Kefka was a General in the service of the Empire. At least until recent events where he did kind of murdered the emperor by tossing him off of a floating continent. But, the point was, Kefka was an amazing individual. He could even hold his own in a physical fight if he had to. The guy really was pretty good with a rapier. But, who are we kidding?! He likes it when Terra touches him. So when she put her hands on his shoulders and pushed him back, he went willingly.
In his mind he was thinking that now would really be a good time to test out this new materia stuff. To really see what it could do against someone who was not going to go down in one mighty swing of his proverbial mace. Terra would be a lovely specimen. And yet, there was something he needed to do first.
"Oh yes. It is all true. You know me well enough, girl, that I do not lie about that sort of thing. The brat reminded me of you so much that I think I almost felt something other than hatred towards every living thing in existence. But, I digress. You are here and I have this lovely materia. Let's play!"
The stone, a small blue orb about the size of the palm of his hand, was crackling with energy. He knew nothing about the stuff so he didn't know that it was lightning materia. But what he did know was how it worked. And he had taken the little girls bracelet. You see, it had a slot in it for a stone just like the one he had. And with deft hands he slid the stone into the socket.
And, holy mother of all that was unholy! Kefka could feel it. Pitiful in the wake of his own abilities, but it was there. The power of lightning. It only took him a moment to realize the potential of such an item. The possibilities were near endless. He knew there were different types. But, this one was the only piece that the little girl had. It was cute. She had it stuffed inside of a teddy bear. She cried when Kefka ripped it open to find the stone.
And just like that the moment was over. The Psycho Clown thrust his hand forward and lightning bolts shot form his fingertips. For now, to enjoy the game they would play, he would hold back. Only using what the stone allowed him. Otherwise, there was no telling how much pain he could truly bring to the table. In his mind he giggled at the thought of being able to rain lightning from the heavens on the entire planet in order to destroy everything.
But that was a thought for another day. Right now he had a half Esper to play with.

Terra Branford Terra couldn't let her emotions get to her, not now. This was far from the time. But, how could she even begin to put such horrible news out of her mind? Torturing....people, just for information? For fun? She knew he was a sick minded man, but never did she think he would go so far as to do horrible things to anyone.
Shaking her head, Terra raised her own hand. The light of flame would quickly illuminate the area of the cave they were in. "Then....I won't go easy on you...Even if I have to take both of us out, I will bury you here!!" That was no joke, if she could, she WOULD make this area of the cave fall on top of both of them. Anything to end Kefka once and for all! "I will become everything you wanted me to be, and I will put all my training....all my power...into defeating you! " The look in the half-esper's eyes was clear that she was serious.
The flame at Terra's own hand suddenly shot out into the air, growing in size as it flew for Kefka's own Lightning attack, while she hoped it may cancel it out, she wasn't going to take chances and stand there to find out. Using the pillar she was just up against, she quickly moved behind it to shield from any remaining Lightning that may of come down for her.
Once she was sure nothing more would strike her in those few seconds, glowing white orbs would suddenly shoot out into Kefka's direction. With such a darkly heart, it was amazing just one Holy orb didn't kill him! ..If only it worked like that.

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "Guh!" Cloud was knocked back, landing on one of the nearby platforms and covering his wound. He and Sephiroth were in one of the deepest parts of the cave; the area wherein Jenova was once defeated and Iron Giants resided in. "Hrah!" Cloud leaped from the platform, attempting to come down onto Sephiroth with a Braver Limit Break, however, he let out a gasp as he found himself stabbed once more by the Masamune. "When will you realize the difference in our strength? Come now, accept your death. Become one with the Lifestream, where all things begin and all return to end," Sephiroth smirked. "And become a part of me, when I absorb the Planet's energy and become-" "Same old plan, huh..." Cloud said, causing Sephiroth to give him an irritated expression. Probably angry because he interrupted him. "...There's something you should realize too Sephiroth..." Cloud grabbed the Masamune, coughing up blood. "...I'm not fighting for me... I'm not just fighting for myself, like you..." He raised his head, to glare into Sephiroth's eyes. "I'm fighting for everything that I love! I'm fighting for the Planet, for Avalanche, for my friends...!" He took a deep, pained breath. "For my family... For Terra! That's why....!" He let out a scream as he pushed off the Masamune, causing himself to slide off the blade, and onto his feet on the ground. "I CAN'T LOSE HERE!" He said, a blinding light shooting from him, causing the One-Winged Angel to shield his eyes. When he looked back, he would see the Cloud now held the Fusion Sword in his hand, the combination of all his blades into one massive sword. A blue light was pulsing from his sword, and his fierce expression was focused fully on Sephiroth. "Tch," Sephiroth grunted. "The moment you lose that drive, the moment that fire in your eyes die out, the moment you lose all hope... I'll be there. Just wait." Those last words echoed into the air, as Sephiroth faded away from the area with a purple light. "..." Cloud put away the Fusion Sword. "You keep coming back as many times as you want. I'll beat you every time. As long as I have something to protect... I'll never lose..." And with that, he began to ascend to make his way out of the cave, oblivious to the other presences that lay ahead...

Well that was all fine and dandy, but what happens when fire and ice mix? A whole lot of nothing because it takes forever to melt ice into water. And that was just annoying anyway. I mean who really has time to clean their robes just because they were walking through sloshy ice water? Not Kefka! That's for damn sure!
But hey! He already had this lightning materia. So why not use it? "BOOM!" He yelled as he spread the fingers on his hand. The arcs of lightning intensifying. Could it stop the fire? Of course not! What the hell kind of stupid do you have to be to think that lightning can stop fire? However, fire was one of those elements that could really be pushed around. Quite literally. But, he wasn't really worried about using any aero spells at the moment. He had something else in mind.
And just like that, he was surrounded by a shield barrier of sorts. It flashed light blue and hummed softly with magical power. He pulled his hand back and the lightning dropped just as her little fire spell hit the shield. And then, it poofed. Except it didn't poof. It was reflected. yup. Good ole reflect. Just like that Terra now had just one more thing to worry about.
As if Kefka, in all of his wondrous glory, wasn't enough. She would now have to refrain from casting on him. Of course, there was the matter of her 'holy balls of awesomeness'! That's right! They came flying at Kefka with the speed of a cripple granny! He almost didn't have time to slide out of the way after he finished eating his snack! But seriously, he really did side step the projectiles. He even anticipated that they would follow him. So he called forth another little spell of his. 'Slow'.
Now, he wasn't stupid. Terra would see his reflect spell and instantly think that she could get away with doing the same. Only there was one catch. Kefka was, once again, way ahead of the curve on this one. He didn't cast slow on her. He cast it on himself. So even if she did put up a barrier of her own, his spell would see it's mark. It was nice being a god of magic and all, but just being a genius, sometimes, was really cool as well."I am all-powerful!!"

Terra Branford Ah, yes. This was going to be a whole load of fun. Everything was fun with Kefka, wasn't it? Terra came to land just at the tip of one of the many formations in her attempt to get herself further from Kefka, she could see the lightning crackling and intensifying at his fingertips, her thoughts were he would release it on her, only instead, the lighting had vanished moments after a soft blue aura radiated around him in what appeared to be an obvious shield protecting him now. Only, this wasn't just any protect spell.
Terra's eyes widened as her distracted and confused mind came to focus on her own fiery orb that was now heading right for her! This was not only unfortunate, but rather humiliating for the half-esper, the trained weapon to be tricked and hit by her own spell.
As the fire slammed into Terra, she went flying back with it, hitting the caves wall at the other side rather harshly. This all happened just when the slow was settled onto her, which bounced off his reflect spell the second he cast it. Awesome.
And there it was, the shimmering of pink, followed by a flash of familiar light he would know so well as she morphed into her Esper form. Slowly raising, angry pink eyes settled onto Kefka's own as she began to cast....!
.......Slowly.....wait, what? She didn't even KNOW the spell of Slow was cast upon her. So, after a moment of casting, she had completely stopped mid-cast. There was no way she would stand here waiting for a cast due to a simple spell. There was only one other thing left to do. Attack physically!
And that she did. With lightening speed, the pink-half esper flew at Kefka, her clawed hand extended to tear through his gut if she could be so lucky!

"I am a God!"
This was the moment that Kefka had been waiting for. The moment of truth. Here he would see just how far her power could carry her. So as soon as he saw her changing, his lips curled into a grin that was truly horrifying. "Yes, my pretty! Show me!" His mind was racing. He had a million thoughts going on how to handle this and he had about half a second to figure out exactly how that would be.
And just like that, his right hand shot up. His feet slid apart and he closed his left hand into a fist at his side. Then everything stopped. Not literally. Just he was thinking so fast it all seemed to really slow down. Since taking the powers of the Waring Triad and becoming the god of magic, he had amassed a few abilities that were, shall we say, awesome. One of which was his ability to manipulate objects with thought. Yes. He was telekinetic.
He threw all the power he was willing to spare at the moment into stopping her forward charge. If he could, and he imagined he could do so quite easily, he'd hold her in place. Terra was, to him, nothing more than a subject. And in that sense, he would begin testing immediately. What better way to see the potential of a test subject than to push it. And push her he would.
"Oh my little Terra. I remember there being quite a few of your little friends who were oh so ripe for the picking. I wonder what sort of information I could get from them. Torture. It's so fun! And now that I find myself getting good at it, I think I may make it a hobby. Something I can do in my spare time when I'm not hunting down and killing all of your friends. Tell me. What are your thoughts on that? And also, of your little girlie friends, which one do you think has the prettiest voice? I do so love when they cry and scream."

Terra Branford Terra could feel her body suddenly coming to a slow, and eventually, it had completely stopped against her will. She couldn't move at all. The esper's locked onto his, and for a moment he would see what looked to be worry, almost terrified eyes staring back at him. An unfortunate thrill to the mad man before her. But soon, as he began speaking, those eyes would go from worried, to completely rage-filled. Baring her teeth, she didn't realize she was falling into doing exactly as he wished for.
"...Stop...! " She hissed out, gritting her teeth now as she seemed to be struggling against Kefka's hold of her. "Talking..!! " He went on, and only fueled her rage so much that her own energy had began to spike even further, a pink aura pulsed around the espers form, energy even Kefka could feel from where he stood.
"Shut up!!" And with that unlikely scream came her next move. Apocalypse suddenly appeared into her hand as the energy of the heavily trained half-esper woman continued to increase in power, following a flash of light the next thing Kefka would see when he opened his eyes next assuming he covered them from that brief flash, was the pink blur flying toward him once again! Her blade extended to strike if she had managed to get close enough to him. If her blade came close, he would barely have enough time to so much as blink before following the blade's pathway was a flame of intense fire on it's way to cause him some added burning pain, and at this level of power Terra was at, it was no doubt this would hurt a LOT, and for anyone else it may of even been lethal.

"I am a God!"
Every word he spoke was fueling her inner fire just as he wanted it too. He was playing her like a marionette and she was too oblivious to even realize it. It was beautiful. So beautiful. She was falling into his schemes even easier than he had anticipated. And, boy was she getting angry.
Her rage was building and it was burning into her desire to hurt him in ways that maybe even he could fear. She was building power. He could feel it! She was fighting him with everything she had and he was loving every bit of it. This! THIS is what he wanted. To see what she was capable of. To really feel her when she had the fuel of hate filled rage pushing her to go even further than what she thought she could do.
And then the flash. He had been so caught up in his overbearing joy of the success he was having over the manipulation of her that he let his guard down for a split second. And, that was all she needed. For a brief moment he was blinded. He closed his eyes to shield himself from the radiant display, but it would do him no good.
He felt a burning sensation in his side. And, for the first time in a very long time, he felt something almost foreign. Worry. How was he in pain? He was a god. He could not be hurt. Not by this puny whelp of an Esper. She was just a child. A mere speck compared to his greatness. This wasn't possible.
His eyes popped open and he saw her, there, right in front of him. Her blade hilt up against his abdomen. Her blade buried to the hilt in his own innards. The sword had punctured front to rear, exposed behind him where it had gone through his body. He was shocked. Not because he was in pain. But, because he was hurt. And then he snapped.
Literally. His head cocked to the side and his eyes were no longer filled with a mirthful hatred for everything. They were filled with a deathly rage that was out for one purpose. To destroy. Destroy everything. Starting with her. And, what better way to destroy her than to destroy everything around her as well. She wanted to bring the walls down, she would get it. Just not in the way she had anticipated.
It was like lightning. Kefka's hand shot for her neck and he took her soft skin in a grip that was iron. He pulled her close enough to his face so that when he spoke, his rage could be felt like a palpable sheen of force. "You ..." He was still pulling her closer. His words getting more intense and powerful. "Will ..." With the last word, he was screaming in a rage filled banshee yell that was more of a battle wail than anything. "DIE!!!!!!"
And with that, everything around them erupted. The sheer force of power that was expelled from Kefka, at that very moment, might be felt from the other side of the world. He had the power of a waring triad, three gods, within him. And, right now, he was using every bit of it. So much so, that when he threw Terra to the side, her blade ripped from his side. The wound it left wasn't bleeding. Not in the sense that most wounds do. His wound pulsed. It throbbed. It was filled with magic. Magic that gave him a life unlike anything Terra had ever seen before.
With her out of his grasp, his hand came up into the air. He let out a yell that would curl the hair on the dead. "YOU WILL DIE!!!!!" At that, his hand came crashing down into a fist that met the ground he was standing on. When the two forces met, the ground shattered. Quite literally. It broke. It caused chasms. It crushed, cracked, and blistered. The impact point created a crater and left in the wake of the debris was no longer a man. No. What was left was nothing short of a nightmare.
That nightmare said only one word. But, it was said so that it could not be misinterpreted as anything but the fact of the matter truth. "Run ..." Because, if she did not, she would most certainly die.

Terra Branford Terra knew in the beginning, angering Kefka wasn't a good idea. Though she had never expected what she was now seeing in those rage-filled eyes. They weren't just rage, they were insane, blood hungry and ready to tear his enemies apart in all his deathly rage that was boiling inside him. All from one little stab. The tables had turned, while he had done the same to her, all seemed to fall right back at him in a much more painful way, through Terra's blade.
The Esper's eyes locked onto his own, her body frozen in place and her hand nearly losing it's grip of Apocalypse as she began to realize just how bad her situation was turning. She had no companions to back her up, no one to save her....against the most powerful being on the planet. The final form of Kefka was not something to take lightly, she knew that well.Unfortunately she also knew there was NO way she could handle him alone.
While thoughts trailed in her mind that escape was the best option, she knew Cloud was here somewhere. What if he made the same mistake and walked into him as she did? In a form Cloud wouldn't know or understand. Even he would have no chance against him. She couldn't risk that.........
And so.... she had to stay. She had to fight back, at all cost. Even if she had to die trying. Wasn't it better to try and destroy something that could bring an end to the world after all? She didn't even want to think of what he might do had he remained in this form. In the blink of an eye, Terra could not react fast enough to avoid his sudden reach for her neck and she could feel his harsh grip around her throat. Her own free hand came up in attempt to pry the iron grip from her neck with no luck, though he might feel a little sting of pain by the razor sharp nails of the Esper. Again, with her hand Terra thrust Apocalypses for him JUST as she was thrown, rather it hit him or not, was the question. Slamming into the ground, a few formations of the cave were shattered by the esper crashing into them, her sword flying from her hands in the process of her painful fall. Mixed with the pink skin and fur of her form was the color of crimson as blood began to trickle from her forehead and various area's of her body. A throw like that didn't go without getting a few good gashes and scrapes, especially when landing in sharp formations and rock.
"I..." She began to say as she struggled to get herself back up.."Will not.....run!! " And just like that, Terra was in the air, hovering above Kefka as she cast a mass of fiery destruction for him, that was only a distraction however, before the real cast of Ultima would begin. What was typically one of the most powerful spells, in Esper form with heighten magic the spell would grow even more intense and far more deadly. The real question was, though, just how much could this cavern take? With all the destruction Kefka had unleashed upon it, they may both become buried deep within the nightmarish cave.

Terra. Terra. Terra. She was persistent, if anything. But Kefka. Kefka was pissed. Kefka was brilliant. Kefka was beyond deadly. So Terra was simply out of luck. And all because she was stubborn. Too self righteous to run when she had the chance. What did she hope to accomplish? She could not defeat him. No one could!
He didn't bother to stop her fiery hell from hitting him. Well, he didn't stop it. It didn't hit him. The man was fast. And, he already had an idea of what she was going to try and hit him with. So one second he was there, the next he was gone. Only to reappear on the far side of the, now gravely damaged, cavern. He floated there momentarily as his wings beat rhythmically. He was planning something. It was clearly in his eyes.
What? What was he planning? That was the question. His eyes spoke of devious workings. Workings that were, most likely, beyond what many others could begin to fathom. His mind was a cunning one. Quick. He had a hundred scenarios playing out in his head when others could only keep up with two. And now he was using that intellect to full effect.
Terra. Hopefully she could prove to be a fun opponent.

Terra Branford Like the blast of a nuclear explosion, a bright flash erupted and an even greater thundering explosion began in the blink of an eye, all of this was the power of Ultima as it traveled for it's target. Kefka. Her eyes fixing upon the winged form of her most hated enemy as he reappeared a distance away, just to the far side of the horribly damaged cavern. The look in her eyes was clearly full of rage, her clawed hands closing tightly into fists. Could he escape? She didn't doubt it, while Ultima was near impossible to dodge or escape, she knew Kefka always had ways to avoid something, even the most powerful spells.
There, she waited almost impatiently, it was as though she wanted to bring pain to the twisted living nightmare. The one who had caused her so much pain was about to feel his own dose, rather then mental pain, he would feel the glory of physical pain. After all, he did love bringing it on to others, didn't he? If one small stab brought him to this state, what was he to do next?
Terra was hardly a violence lover, though in this form, when she became angry enough at times she could lose control, this was all thanks to the one she was up against now. "Run,Terra." A voice suddenly came into her mind, it was a gentle tone that held a warmth Terra didn't understand. She had never heard this voice before. "You cannot defeat him...Please leave..! " The voice continued, though there was no one to see. Who was it? She..didn't know...nor did she obey the warning....

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" If Cloud had missed the obvious destruction and chaos ensuing in the cave, he would be an idiot. The entire place was shaking violently at one point, and it was quite clear that either the Beast was rising at this exact moment, Meteor was hitting the Planet, or there was some sort of battle in this cave. The latter seemed the most viable all things considered, so he followed the sounds of explosions until he came to the site. Of course Terra was involved. She loved getting into danger. And... there was Kefka. Yes, Cloud recognized him. He had seen him briefly during the Conflict of the Gods, while helping Terra find her crystal and during the conflict's end, but Kefka was not the sort of person one would easily forget. Why was he here? Not that it mattered terribly; what mattered was that Terra was in danger. And though Cloud knew (firsthand) how terrifying and amazing her full power was, he didn't think twice before leaping into the fray. And leap was exactly what he did. Stepping onto a rock, he used it to catapult towards Kefka, whose back was to him, and turn the Fusion Sword purposefully to cut straight through the one who fancied himself a god. Assuming everything went as planned, he would let out a loud grunt as he heaved the sword to cut Kefka in half, or so he hoped. If he dodged, or it didn't have the desired effect, upon landing on the ground, Cloud would immediately jump to Terra and get in front of her, standing in his fighting stance and facing Kefka. "I don't suppose I could persuade you to leave?" He said to Terra, knowing what the answer would be. "We don't have room in this world for clowns like you," Cloud said to Kefka. "So do me a favor and get out." (( OoC: Sorry for the delay, but HERE I AM. : D ))
