As soon as Ganchou took the boy away and was out of earshot, Bast turned to Six and gave a thumbs-up sign.

"Got the Deadman to the hospital without having to carry him there myself!" she noted enthusiastically. "And I got to mess with Ganchou too! Double bonus points!"

Bast waved at the Oinin as he and his companion approached, feeling at ease due to the obvious presence that the bright colors gave them. She strolled off to one side of Six and stood in the shade, sucking on a fresh lemonade after the old one had been removed. A communication came over the radio shortly thereafter, stating that an unknown ANBU, looking heavily influenced by either sedatives or alcohol, took the rogue out of his hospital room without ever having made an entrance. Bast was about to reprimand the guards when the boy showed up on his own, saving her the trouble.

She took another sip of lemonade, and had another couple of cups brought out in case the Cloud Shinobi wanted any. It was sweet, sour, cold, and felt very nice on a hot day.

"Oi, Kumo-chan," she said toward Aoi. "Could you tell me about Kumogakure? I've been wanting a nice vacation, and it seems like that would be a good place. I've heard they have nice food."

Bast nodded and took a drink from her own lemonade, enjoying the sweet and sour flavors as they mingled spectacularly in a cold, refreshing splash of liquid refreshment that would not soon be forgotten. The other

"Oh, there are some houses, some shops, a place to drink tea. We've got some trees now, I think, in a forest or something of that sort. The tea shoppe is famous for its Insomniac Tea; I don't know why, but it's probably due to its effects on the sleep cycles of those who drink it. It's very strange. We've also got a lovely Dango shop, a mall, and people."

Alex rolled his eyes and smirked at fuya as she drank what that demented woman gave her. he hoped it was poison and that seemed highly likely. he fell onto his knees breathing hard the sedatives still ran through out his body. "i beat that jounnin i can at least stand my ground with you kein. but to double up on me. that's low man." he fell down all the way to the sand the heat getting to him finally. resisting out here in this god forsaken desert was just impossible.

Ganchou appeared at the base of the gates, looking around and taking in the scene. Bast and San? Check. Six? Check. Kumo Hunters? Check. Incapacitated escapee...? Check. Nodding, he crossed his arms and just casually leaned on the side of the gate, watching the Kumo-nin and their charge. An orderly brought him his dry-cleaned and stitched coat, which he slipped on once more before returning to his posture. He took a long drag of his Insomniac Tea, still at the perfect temperature due to the heat of a Suna day.

Alex coughed sat up to his knees.he laughed and just shook his head." your just a great person threatening to attack me when i cant do much about it at the moment. sediteves. lack of water. etc etc." he chuckled and then coughed. after he recovered he looked back up at her."shinobi like you sicken me." his clone helped him stand and he leaned on it. "but if thats what i have to do to survive than so be it." he stood on his own and made a hand sign. he wasnt sure if it would work or not since this place was a desert but he knew they had to have water from somewhere. sure enough not far from where he stood opened up a makeshift spring that water just poured put of. he grinned and fell upon it drinking heavily. after he was done he stood much stronger. the clone looked at him with disapproval. Alex stuck his tongue out at it. "alright time to prove my worth." he said standing fully and stretched. the seditives seemed not to be the problem it was a lack of water. all the sand around him was soaked now and he had a nice puddle to fuel his jutsu's. how long the spring would last depended upon the land but if it never went away then maybe the sand village might actully like him. if he lived through the day that is. "ok then lady if its a fight i must have then its one you can gladly have. come satisfy your blood lust on me. evil like you doesn't deserve your power." he activated the first gate allowing him to hopefully at least be able to move out of the way of her attacks. if not he always had swift wind to fall back on.

A threat. The kid turned out to be a threat after all. So the ANBU guard had done his job well, calling in the cavalry. A gennin with such malice and contempt for his village, and then to outright attack Bastet who was defending her own village? What was with this kid. Now attacking Bast was his own stupid thought to begin with, and having Six sensei, Bast, and San there would ensure that the Village borders would be secure.

Offering an A rank of chakra, the sand of the desert began to move to a slight central point, but the gennin would feel like the ground itself had just began to try to consume him. Well, at least the "inescapable hell" San used would slow down his movements to normal speed from his increased speed. The other Ninja there, including the Kumo nin, would seem unafected if they remained where they were. However, taking a single step would make them enter the jutsu as well.

At the same time, a huge amount of iron sand left the Burden golem of sand, and moved at a amazing fast speed to begin to form a prison around the young threat to Suna. Using his raiton chakra, this Iron Sand would then begin to increase in temperature until it was at its melting point of 2270 degrees F. However, the molten iron sand would still maintain its shape and its manipulative abilities much like nothing had actually happened. This was the first time San was able to debut his new found skill, and was even happier it was used to defend Suna.
