Suki's head snaps toward the phone but she hesitates. "Um, are you expecting a call? Do you want me to get it?" she asked.

"No I'll get it." He flips over the pancakes then heads to the phone and picks it up. "Hello?" after a few seconds he hears a reply. Sido knew the voice, it was his aunt. "How did you know where to find me?" Sido listened to his aunt and what she had to say. Sido begins to look more and more depressed as the conversation continued.

She stayed quiet, trying not to eavesdrop and tried to flip the pancakes herself. 'His aunt...?' she thought 'Wonder what she wants... No, no Suki, just keep flipping the pancake..'

After a while, his aunt says something that shocks Sido. He wants to say something, but his aunt hangs up. He puts the phone back. He stands their for a moment, then he falls to his knees and begins punching the floor. "Why...why..."

She leaves turns off the stove and goes to Sido, stopping him from hitting the floor again. "What is it? What's wrong?" she asked, worried.

Sido turns to her. "My aunt's here. First she said that i'm at an age where my vampire blod will randomly spike and cause me to change, so she's going to help me with that." He looks down.

She brushed his hair away and tried to smile. "That's a good thing isn't it? I would think that part of a vampires life is... well dangerous.." she added hesitantly, afraid of the answer "What's wrong with that?"
