It was then that I woke up. I groaned, "How come I have to wake up when I actually get to the best part of that dream?"

I had been sitting and watching Akira while he slept. An amused smile made its way to my face. "Something wrong?" I asked with a small laugh.

I looked at Hotaru and said, "Yes, there is. How dare the sandman taunts me like this! I've been having this dream for a while, and..." I continued, while my cheeks were glowing a bit red, "It's a bit romantic."

I couldn't help but smile wider. "So the sandman is taunting you?" I asked with a laugh. Somehow I found that hard to belive. "Romantic?" I said a bit surprised. "So that's why you were smiling. Did it have something to do with a certain Senshi?" I asked poking him gently.

I smiled, "Yes. This time, though, I actually saved her, and we were about to kiss." That's when I groaned, "And just about when our lips were about to meet, I wake up... And this happens to me every time."

I blinked several times, a light blush stained my cheeks. "You want to kiss Saturn?" I asked. I shook my head in a dismissive manner. I laughed a tiny bit leaning against the chair I had been sitting in.

I said, while my cheeks were blushing. "Perhaps." I looked outside and the sun was setting. I groaned, "I'd... Better go home. Though your home is far better and caring than mine... And neither parent wants me, once the divorce gets through."

The happy air quickly disappeared as Akira mentioned his family. I rested my hand on his arm. "Why don't you just stay here for the night?" I asked. "I mean," I took a step back. "I um..."

I turned to face Hotaru. I smiled, "That... Would be nice..." I closed my eyes and hugged her.
I thought, 'Phew! I thought I'd end up kissing Hotaru.'
That's when I stopped hugging Hotaru and asked, "Uh, Hotaru, do you have more friends than just me, Shin-kun, and Mamoru?"

I was surprised at first by the hug but slowly and cautiously I returned it. I took a few steps away from Akira as he asked me about other friends. I walked over to the window and stared out it at the sky. "I have other friends, but most of them are in collage. You are the only friends I have close to my own age." I said softly.

I smiled, "I see. The only friends I have are you, Shin-kun, Sora, Daisuke and Mamoru. Though I've heard that Mamoru got hitched. Please, tell me about them."

I decided to sit down. "Well, let's see. Yes, Mamoru-sensei did get married. I'm friends with his wife, Usagi. There is Makoto-san, Minako-san, Raye-san, and Ami-san." I said listing them. "Makoto-san is in karate, I think, and she's a really good cook too. Um, Minako-san is, well, she's a little boy crazy. But she's a really sweet person. Raye-san lives at the temple on Cherry Hill and she's really serious. She likes to make fun of Usagi. Ami-san is super smart. She's studying to become a doctor." I said. I really didn't know what else to say about them.

I smiled, "They all sound interesting, I'd like to meet them sometime."
That's when I thought, 'It's wierd that Mamoru and his wife and their friends know Hotaru and her parents. TOO wierd to just be a coincidence.'
The voice in my head asked,
I replied to the voice, 'It all sounds TOO convienient for them to know each other.'
The voice replied,
I smiled a little sadly at Hotaru, "You're really lucky, Hotaru. You have a place to call home, people and friends that really care about you. My 'home' is no home. Close to being more like a prision."

I caught Akira's smile and sighed. "Why don't you leave?" I asked softly. I drew my knees up to me and rested my head on them.

I smiled, "Hotaru, I can't leave that place illegally, but I can leave it LEGALLY..."
I got up and walked to my bag, and I got a few pieces of paper out of the pocket of my bag.
I grinned, "Thank goodness I have the hard copy of my adoption papers!"
That's when I said, "And at least the adoption agency trusts me more than my parents."
