 The blade of the Quandao dramatically lengthened, and he easily sliced through the vines that were slowly creeping around him. Evza had run over to where Jervaid had fallen, and was relieved to see that he was safely gliding to the ground. The overlord advanced on her, evidently hoping to sneak an attack on her, and was met with a foot to the face. He grabbed at her ankle and swung her around, hurling her into Diedra.

 *The vines retreated as they were cut, and Diedra fell backward trying to catch the woman that had been tossed at her* *Through the rain, Gaertim advanced to the overlord in fury, waving his arms to the side and casting a ring of fire around the man*

He held his Quandao out in the flames that now encircled him, heating up the blade. He then leapt straight over the fire - although not quite high enough, his cape a little singed - and in front of Gaertim. He thrust the burning hot blade through Gaertim's abdomen.  Running over, Evza conjured up a block of ice in her hands, and smashed it over the back of the overlord's skull.  Kelissa was running over to him also, and kicked him straight in the throat. The overlord staggered back, choking.

*Gaertim winced hard and caughed blood, losing his footing a moment but fighting it and gripping the searing blade in his gloves. He lowered his head and rammed into the overlord with his shoulder*Going to take more... than some heated metal... to be rid of me.

Once the overlord was certain he could breathe again, he kicked out at Kelissa, and sent a fist flying back to meet Evza's face. Focusing on Gaertim again, he grasped the handle of the Quandao with both hands, working the sharp blade up through Gaertim's body.

 Asphyxia shrieked as she was metaphorically slapped back to consciousness by the LGHT. She glanced around, and saw that the place was empty except for her and Zaryn. 'E-Emerald!' she spluttered.

You know... that might just be enough. *Gaertim fought hard to keep conscious, trying to force the blade back out as it tore through him* *MK sprinted in and fired several spheres of LGHT at the overlord, trying to overcome him in sheer number of attacks* *Diedra tried to follow suit, rushing in and leaping into the air, her right leg on a direct path to the overlords skull*

'Oh God! Ugh. Memory's a bit fuzzy. ...Did I attack MK?' The overlord fell into Gaertim as several of the LGHT orbs hit him, and violently ripped the blade back out from Gaertim. Diedra's kick struck him, and stumbling again, he snatched at her arm, breaking it over his knee.
Quandao still clutched tightly in his free hand, he charged at MK.

*The leader fell to his hands and knees, his vision starting to blur*If it's not too much trouble... I really don't want to bleed out. *Diedra stood fast, holding onto her broken arm and standing there, trying to get vines to come forth from her shoulder to fix it* *MK took a defensive pose, holding his arms out to slow down time atop the tower*

Asphyxia shook her head slightly, trying to clear it. She shakily stood up, staring over at the door she surmised the others had gone through with a worried look. 'What are you going to do?' she asked Zaryn, without turning to face her. As the overlord slowly approached, he dug the blade of the Quandao into the ground and used it to propel himself at MK, flying feet first at the Captain, and kicking him hard in the face.  Gallaine frantically ran over to Gaertim, and skidded painfully onto her knees when she drew close. She gritted her teeth and ignored it, pressing a hand to Gaertim's wound. 'Here,' she said, and started to heal him.
